There are two major story arcs going, and a third minor arc.

1.) My character and two others are rescuing a bunch of slaves from Old Man's Corner through brute force; the time for negotiation is past. The attack is just beginning, but a PC who is on the villains' side is absent, thus increasing the chances of success.

2.) A Raider attack on Liberty Island has just been fended off, but one of the PCs has just heard that the Enclave (under new management that wants to enslave the Wasteland instead of exterminating all 'muties') has just taken his family captive and made them slaves. Now, he and the second group of PCs are pondering an attack on the Enclave, based on Brooklyn, to free the prisoners.

3.) Two PCs are talking about Vault 17, the AI/Robotics Vault.

Well, if you would like to join the Slave rescue party then maybe insert your character in a little more of a dynamic way, don't just charge in because John, Par, and Gabe are all on their toes right now and that would get Akira killed

If i saw him literally run past me, then kill my enemy, ignoring me in the process, i'd think it'd be obvious he's an asset XD

Written, what about stalking Old Man's Corner, looking for ways in and out, with the plan to ambush slavers as they go out on patrol and raids, then kill them like some horror movie villain before escaping?

However, said plan is cancelled because Par and the others chose to attack, and so you're now looking for a way to take advantage of the Chaos, snatching slavers as they rush to and fro, taking them to back alleys and woods, then crushing their heads?

Or, I can also have Par come to some trouble, and Akira can rescue him?

You make it seem like Akira is some form of 1960's horror movie bad guy here XD I'd think his first instinct would be to help people up and at the front, so possibly saving par would be a great idea, hell, even taking a bullet for him in the process.

edit: sorry about thinking so aggressively in terms of akira, i've just been having fun using him in F04 XP just rushing in and pummeling all those pesky raiders XDD

But yeah, i like idea 3.
