Yeah, but a few heavier fighters would be more useful in a pitched battle.

I think the problem is, people envisioned a trek through the Wastelands, where it's easier to eliminate problems at a distance than to have to get up close and personal. It doesn't help that to get a smart build, strength and endurance are sacrificed, so you can't just pick up a heavy weapon to compensate.

So how are we gonna do this? Alex wins in perception and armour and has the sniping perk, while Tom has higher agility and luck. We cant just have them take potshots at each other for this entire battle.

@Letter Bee That's more than okay, I kind of set up my intro post with the expectation that an attack would occur before Vor had a chance to prepare. Sorry I haven't posted yet, I hope to have something up this evening.

This is basically *before* the Enclave attack, but shortly after the Slave Camp assault. Sorry if I haven't made that clear.

If that's the case, best to roll with the attack, and then go out find the Vault in the morning (or some other time). Leaving in the middle of an Enclave attack is a bit of a chicken move, even if it is business of interest to the Brotherhood.

EDIT: My bad. The attack happens noon the next day, so if we leave at night, we might get some distance before the Enclave strike. If we get back in time, we might actually get to help defend (assuming we don't spend too long at the Vault).

I was thinking while this is going on a npc guarding the boat grabs the rocket launcher and fires it at your hiding spot. Then you could engage and I would go down with a shot or a punch. Or your support could show up and quickly end this in some way. What are your ideas?

I was thinking that Alex could use the old "red barrel" trick, shoot a second boat's fuel tank which explodes, a piece of shrapnel takes tom down and causes him to withdraw.

Yours could work too. Im not too fussed. Which one would you prefer?
