They're still technically reptiles. Hair/fur is right out. However, while Feathers would be possible on Earth, one has to remember that this race didn't evolve on Earth, and so has taken a very different evolutionary path. So nix the feathers.

Name: Mikael Lee Jackson
Age: 36
Gender: Male
Outfit and Rank: USAF SMSgt

Appearance/Photograph: Towering above the others and withe mass bulk, Mikael's form is one that seems off putting, even when compared to the largest of the kora'ai. His bulk is protected by large jagged scales that seem to form fit over each other in layers, His shoulders and neck are covered by an externally visual Bone Carapace projecting out a good 8 inches from his arms. On the edges of the carapace are spikes resembling his talons pointing away from his body. The carapace circles up and around to his back and blends into the scales to provide structural integrity, a problem that daunted many of the first prototypes before him. on his back are four protruding wings two at the top of his back and two at his lower back, they are fairly sizable but it as easily obvious they are not designed for true flight instead being adequate enough for gliding and long distance travel from a high starting location. His head sharpens down to a pointlike beak, fins surrounding the base of the head as well as three horns protruding from the back extending out in a perfectly straight fashion. He has a large tail which ends in a stretched diamond shape of skin between two bones.

Each scale is quite a thing to behold as they are pure white steadily turning to a gold color at the tips, givering a constant shimering look. His belly has a gold tint going straight down to a black tip at the end of his tail, originally meant to be gold but an accident during the biomechanical engineering caused the burnt color to appear. His arms are pure white along with his legs.

Service Record: SMSgt Mikael had been in two wars and countless overseas duties prior to being a Kora'ai, He had friends but not much family as both his father and mother had died in an aircraft accident during his service in europe. He was still in contact with his sister before he was offered, and accepted, being used as a prototype for EXTRA's experiments.

The topic was glazed over, and he was told he'd be lethally injected with a promise he would return to life. It was days before he returned from the dead, and quickly found his own mind was not the only one present. Mikael was the first "successful" Prototype Kora'ai prior to EXTRA's meeting with Jabiko and was the key to the communication success between Jabiko and EXTRA. It was only around that time when he learned of the 107 experiments before him; He is still quite upset about not being warned previously, but Having prior been a SMSgt, he knows his duties and he understood that sometimes it's best for the higher ranks if they do not say something, then chance having issues.

Mikael has been tested significantly and at one point had been experimented with a perchance idea to be designed as a weapon, The idea was dropped however, as it did not quite fit the goal of EXTRA. Due to this, there is actually a layer of skin inside his mouth with a small airhole, which was originally designed to concentrate heat like a Kora'ai sized magnifying glass, but now has only the purpose to make his already daunting voice almost three times louder.
Mikael has a large fault though. Due to the biomechanical engineering Pre-Jakibo, He has a second mind as does all the EXTRA kora'ai. The difference is that the second mind functions entirely seperate to Mikaels; Mikael can control it forcibly to do things but so can the second mind. When both are thinking much the same, his movements of even the smallest kind become twice as responsive and quick. Of course, when they are are thinking to entirely opposite things, (hand go up says one, hand go down says the other) it is often disastrous as they internally fight each other.

Other: He has an isatiable love for food, this is partly due to the size of his mass and his metabolism, it takes a full team of chefs just to keep up with his eating habits.
his voice is rough and husky.
His second mind is fully functioning and quite enjoys playing pranks, this often results in mikael getting into trouble.

The freaky thing is... someone 'did' get me a tub of ice-cream o.o Cookies N cream

Name: Chaynik "Twiggy" Yashcher
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Outfit and Rank: Specialist, 22nd U.S. Infantry Platoon [or something like that XD], Coordinator/Technician/Comms officer

Appearance/Photograph: Chaynik stands at over 3 Meters in height, quite large for a Kora'ao and a disorientingly drastic change from his previous perspective, Thickly built as any and cutting quite the imposing figure... Most of his body is a Fiery Orange that fades into a Dark pure Red on his Hand/foot claws, Tail, and muzzle, while a Crown of Ivory horns curls out along the back of his head, Several aim up, Several more curl down some, doubling partially as neck protection... and also a pain in the neck when one smacks into a door frame!

Service Record: Chaynik comes from a Russian Family with a long Military back-ground full of honor and service to their home country, a family of strong dedicated Front-line soldiers yearning for a warriors death... and Chaynik is the Family Dissapointment, though family will stay family, the disdain for his 'different path' is obvious... Rather than dumping himself in boot-camp, he dumped himself into books and electronics, sure he got bits of training here and there, a bit of shooting, some fighting, natural stuff when living aroud his family, but ultimately when he 'came of age', instead of going for a typical soldier, he moved to America to partake of their much more advanced technological programs and advance his personal passion.

After several Years in college, and a brief run-in with the FBI looking into things he did tinkering on his computers, He found himself in the military, first going through the tedium of typical desk-work and putting up with the more jockish soldier's that sometimes hung around in the non-combat zones, some of which are responsible for his nick-name of 'twiggy'... but everything was pretty lax overall, giving him plenty of free-time to play with the Tech and try to impress people by stream-lining some of the communication systems... Then the war caught up with him.

Now, most would expect any sort of tech specialist to absolutely loathe being anywhere near a battle, turning twitchy or jumpy, messing things up... Chaynik managed to show off that, even if he wasn't a soldier, he still had a soldier's blood in him and demonstrated unnaturally clear focus while lives were on the line... he wasn't 'command material', not by definition at least, but he tended to have a useful opinion on things... of course, he had a nasty habit of speaking his mind 'very' clearly if something didn't sit right with him, but he was useful for keeping things structured.

It all came to a head during one particular battle [who knows which], It The advancing Kora'ai were reaking havoc on the base he was stationed, the command was freaking out and everyone was so busy re-organizing to better defend officers that were pissing themselves, they hardly had the proper organization to defend the entirety of the base. Chaynik was staying busy on the comms, the world drowned out by constant shouting in his headset and quite thoroughly shutting up himself because nobody would even hear his 'choice opinion'... It came out of nowhere, they weren't supposed to be close enough to actually breach the more sensitive sections of the base yet, but something hit, a blinding stab of pain in his spine and sudden blackness.

Demensia: While the character concept in and of itself is pretty cool, he's lacking something for motivation. Why did he volunteer for this program? A chance to return to action after sustaining an injury perhaps, à la Manta's Gift?

Shoryu: While I can guess where he's from from the "service record," I'll ask that you specify which military in the "outfit and rank section." Also, you failed to earn your bonus points for the "Other" section, though that was optional to begin with. You're pretty much good to go.

I can probably only take one or two more before the party size seems ridiculous for the purpose of the project. If you hurry, Mina, you might get a spot. =P Although the post spam certainly doesn't help your cause...

He was offered it, consider the following:

He gets offered a job with a significantly higher pay grade without knowing the full details due to being "currently higher then your pay grade" He takes the offer expecting to be in a better position within the military. The lack of details made him think it was a high priority mission of some sort. I decided against volunteering because if EXTRA is taking volunteers it would be odd that they were so secret whereas being a job that is directly offered to certain specific people would guarantee the secrecy at least in some form.
Also I am not your jake and will not be an injured character, we discussed this.

Mentioned more than discussed, =P Still, the CS feels more solid now, just going to see what Mina comes up with before I get started working on the IC.

And now I'm concerned because no one's said anything since I posted two days ago. >.> I'll be spending the day away, and will hopefully get to work on the IC tomorrow. If anyone has any further questions, feel free to ask.

Imagine a disease that 0.1% of people have. There’s a test for this disease that spots it 99% of the time and misses it 1% of the time. If you don’t have the disease, the test will tell you you don’t 99% of the time, but 1% of the time it will get it wrong and say you do have the disease.

The question is: if the test tells you that you have the disease, what are the chances that you really do?
