"heya, bro." i walk behind frisk. "may i take your jacket, m'lady?" i bow and close my eyes, before opening one. "heh. nah, no need to be so proper, now is there?"
I smile a little at Sans, the same smile I did earlier on that day when I met him. Despite that, I still take off the hoodie. It is way warmer in the house than outside.
I notice the expression on Papyrus' face change when Sans said this. I don't quiet understand why, maybe he wanted to cook? I turn back to look at Sans and nod at him. I would like to go into Grillby's, I had seen it earlier on before I came in the house. My only worry was the other monsters, like Sans had said before, monsters don't really like humans.
in the back of my skull, thoughts hurried around, but i didn't dare to let them out. what about the seven souls? won't it all reset? we won't escape this place for real... "let's go." i could feel the smile on my face getting weaker by the second.

I walk into the building behind Sans. Most of the seats were taken up by monsters. I looked down at the ground as we walked, avoiding eye contact with everyone.
as per usual, everyone greets me. "Sans? Weren't you just here this morning?" "yeah, yeah, grillby. i'm bringing a guest, today." i hear a sigh from behind me. "Couldn't it have been a guy?" "crazy, you know if i had brought a guy, i would've kept him away from you, right?" "Yeah..." crazy bun sighs again and i roll my eyes. "let's take a seat, kid."
Out of the corner of my eye I can see Sans get handed the bottle of ketchup. I look at the menu for a second before saying. "Could I have fries?" I was hungry, but I was craving fries.
we wait a moment for the fries. i sit there and think. "y'know... can i tell ya something?" i take her silence as yes. "my brother... he's been telling me about this flower that comes and talks to him, tells him stuff about the future, praise, advice... i think it's an echo flower, and someone's just being a jerk and pranking him... what do you think?"
I stop to think for a moment. An echo flower? I had never heard of that before. The only talking flower I had head of was Flowey, maybe he was an echo flower? "Echo flower? I haven't heard of that before."
i think for a second. "they're blue, and repeat everything they hear over, and over, and over. for instance, if i said 'dry-bones' into one, it would repeat it constantly. now, the one papyrus told me about, i don't know the colour or anything. he's not too good with details." i shrug and turn away, my arms crossed on the table.
i finish the ketchup and stand up. "ready to go, kid?" to be honest, i didn't want to speak. there were just too many thoughts. why is any of this happening? timelines stopping and starting... restarting and ending... what's the point if this timeline resets or ends? won't everything i say just go to waste?
I nod at Sans and push myself away from the counter, getting up off the chair as I do. It went rather quiet for a second there, all I could hear was the wind outside. I dare not question the silence.
i try to remain silent, for i'm thinking of the possibilities of what could happen. "hey, kid. i got a question for ya. do you know about the other timelines?" i ask, looking over at her, waiting patiently for an answer. my eyes are dim, but not completely dark. i know it.
