{Hobbies}
Nekoda spends most of her time at work. You can’t run a Fortune 500 company if you don’t, after all. However, the small amount of time she takes away, she likes to spend it improving herself. She exercises extensively (some say to an obsessive amount.) She vacations at a home she owns in a Greece for two weeks a year where she sightsees, goes rock climbing, and relaxes in her in-home spa. She is also somewhat of a food connoisseur. She makes it a habit to try a new food whenever possible.
{Habits}
- When Nekoda feels out of control, she will often clench her palms, pressing her fingernails hard enough to break her skin. She has also been known to break furniture.
- During a presentation or talking about something she has a passion for, she will wave her hands excessively.
- She refuses to see a doctor except for in emergency situations. She believes her body is stubborn enough to fight of most anything.

{Personality}
♦ Tenacious ♦ Stubborn ♦ Reserved ♦ Passionate ♦
To describe Nekoda as a “go-getter” would be a vast understatement. Any picture you may have of a frigid, overbearing boss would look like child’s play in comparison to the workforce that she is. Although she is fair and decisive, Kody can be incredibly demanding and rigorous. She knows that the business world is cutthroat, especially for women. While she can relax and have a good time, she sees a true good time as finishing a project or starting another one. She sees men as a means to an end and believes them to generally be a waste of time. She doesn’t believe she has ever met her match mentally and consistently looks forward to a challenge. While she may come off as unhappy, in reality, she is very content, loves her life, and finds joy in such things as food, baseball (which she inherited from her father), and learning about new cultures.

{History}
Nekoda wasn’t born into the life of wealth that she has now. Her mother and twin sister had died during the girls’ birth because of complications. Nekoda was left alone with her father who worked two jobs to keep a roof over their heads. She often stayed with a neighbor to accommodate her father’s demanding schedule. The day after her 10th birthday, her father came home and announced that he had started a new company which had taken off and they were moving to a bigger and better life. He soon became the wealthiest man in the area, often spoiling Nekoda with material things. She however, wished for his presence instead. After confronting him about his absence in her life, her father struck her across her face and accused her of being ungrateful for the life he provided for her. After that day, she never spoke another word about her desire for a relationship with him - or anyone. She no longer found comfort in others.
Nekoda quickly took on her father’s business outlook on life. She excelled in school, was accepted to Stanford’s business school and graduated top of her class, only dating when she felt it necessary to achieve a goal. She went to work under her father soon after her 22nd birthday as Vice President of the company. She lavished her life of private jets, designer clothing, and extravagant societal influence. She, however, still missed her father. Not too soon after she took the reigns as VP, her father was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor. He died shortly before her 24th birthday. When his will was read, Nekoda was astonished to learn that he had given her complete control of the company instead of handing it over to a board of directors as she had expected him to do. His will was accompanied by a letter telling Kody of all the regrets he had in life, most notably missing out on such a large portion of her childhood because of work. He encouraged her to not take her life too seriously and to put work on a back burner. This, instead, motivated her to work harder. She realized that without work, she had no life. It left her feeling empty and hurt - a feeling she despised. She pushed for longer hours at work, more perfect projects, and less failure, much to the dismay of her employees.
On Nekoda’s 27th birthday, her staff threw her a surprise birthday party - a weak attempt to bring happiness to her life. Kody was so flustered that she broke a desk in her office. She immediately recognized how out of control she felt. After spending a few weeks seeing a psychologist, the doctor recommended that she take a vacation to relieve the overwhelming burnout she felt in her life. Nekoda ordered her assistant to book her the first vacation spot she could find. Little did she suspect that that decision would land her in the middle of Alaska…

I never sleep.
I keep my eyes wide open.

A part of me wishes
I could just feel something.”
