"Crunch!" Gimansha latched onto Grimm with her jaws and delivered a series of bites before getting blasted point blank by a Shadow Ball

Grimm was badly hurt, and Poison Heal healed a little bit. "Bulldoze!" Liam called.

"Protect!" Gimansha conjured her green shield just in time for the quake to rattle it. The Mawile's Taunt wore off.

Poison Heal restored more health.
"Will O' Wisp!" Liam called. Grimm tossed small flames toward Mawile.

"Gimansha, Crunch!" Gimansha ran towards Grimm, dodging the flames. The Mawile jumped up and latched onto Grimm with her jaws.

Poison Heal restores a bit of health, but Grimm is still hurt. Grimm was hurt by the fangs. "Fire Punch while it is clamped on." Liam called.

"Double Team!" Gimansha took advantage of Grimm's notoriously low speed and made several copies. Grimm punched the one that was still latched on and it vanished.

Poison Heal restored more."Foresight!" Liam ordered. Grimm identified the location of the real Gimansha, making the duplications vanish.

"Baton Pass!" Gimansha conjured a baton and threw it into the air before returning to her Poké Ball. "Kakureru, take the baton!" Shiranui sent out the legendary Latias. Kakureru received the baton, but did not receive any buffs or debuffs. Baton Pass had cancelled the effects of Mean Look and Foresight.

"Sucker Punch!" Kakureru pulled off a surprise attack before being clocked by a fist from her shadow. The Latias laughed off the attack.

Poison Heal restored a bit of health. Grimm was again close to losing. "Ice Punch!"

"Finish Grimm off with a Shadow Ball!" Kakureru conjured an orb of shadow energy between her paws and threw it at Grimm.

Grimm was KO'd. Liam smirked as he held up a Master Ball. "Go!" Deoxys emerged from the ball.

"Shadow Ball!" Liam ordered.

Shiranui scanned Deoxys as he had never seen such a Pokémon before. "Deoxys, the DNA Pokémon. Deoxys emerged from a virus that came from space. It is highly intelligent and wields psychokinetic powers. This Pokémon shoots lasers from the crystalline organ on its chest."
"No way!" exclaimed Shiranui, "I'm battling a real extra-terrestrial alien!" He set his mind back on the task as Deoxys conjured a Shadow Ball. "Kakureru, Wish!" The Latias was blasted with Deoxys' Shadow Ball and got more damage than Grimm's Shadow Ball. Kakureru made a wish that would take effect later on.

"Signal Beam!" Liam ordred. Deoxys' body altered its shape (Attack form) and fires the bug typed beam attack.

"Kakureru, return; Gimansha, I choose you!" Shiranui switched Kakureru out and sent Gimansha out. The Mawile was blasted with Deoxys' Signal Beam, but thanks to a double resistance, Gimansha survived. Kakureru's Wish healed all the damage Gimansha received and then some.

"Fire Punch!" Liam called. Two tentacles merged together and became engulfed in fire as it soared toward the Mawile.

"Gimansha, use Sucker Punch and give Deoxys everything you've got!" Gimansha disappeared from sight as if she was performing a Feint Attack. "Deoxys seems to have a similar quirk to Yoto," Shiranui mused, "Yoto was never very defensive when he was in his Blade Forme and Deoxys seems to have a similar thing going with that form change only a more powerful version. With any luck, Deoxys would get heavily damaged." Gimansha reappeared behind Deoxys and whacked it as hard as she could.
