So below I have a few ideas on a take on the concept of arranged marriage. They're rough, and open for ideas if anything.
I) The King vanished without a word for some unknown reason and left a note behind to his only son, detailing that he was temporarily in charge of the kingdom until the kings return. During the King's absence, he is meant to find suitable - personally and politically - husbands for his three sisters.
II) A gathering is held at the kingdom palace for the young nobles of the realm to meet and mingle - but more importantly for their parents to arrange marriages. During some freak Earthquake unpredictable by the prophet (becuase ya know, they always get that hit right), a group of noble teens end up trapped inside of the tunnels beneath the palace. Will they make it out alive? (Probably not but hey, gotta try)
III) Flash forward to modern day society, where noble bloodlines have turned into flourishing businesses and extremely wealthy families. These people marry their children off with power just as much as they used to and several families higher the same lawyer to make the political matches. No one realizes this lawyer has a minor in psychology!! And moves the teens in question to a boarding home by their fancy expensive private school to better match the wealth and observe the children. Nobody wants to tarnish the family rep after all with affairs and messy divorces.
