I'm open to changing a few things, but I'd really like to keep things as they are for reasons that you'll see, so I'd rather have feedback before posting than afterwards. I tried to reserve the Gourgeist before for this general reason, since I take a while putting collabs together.

Friends we need to hit the pause button on posting. Our poor friend Vulkan here hasn't made an IC post in nearly a month! I propose that nobody posts until Vulkan at the very least gets up to speed or manages to get one down!

@Zanavy Hydro Pump vs Baltoy gets STAB & Super-Effective, not to mention it's a 110-power move . . . Of course I don't know the Level of the Baltoy, but in most instances, I don't think that Baltoy would make it. Unless perhaps this thing is on the verge of evolution or past the point it might have evolved? Similarly with Jingle using Confusion on Koffing? (Though Confusion is much weaker than Hydro Pump, I'd imagine that'd still hurt like heck for that thing.) Not trying to argue. Just wanting to understand exactly how these STAB/Super-Effective moves (especially Hydro Pump) didn't result in utter defeat for these Pokemon.

@Rethel34 You might want to read this post - although it was part of the large number of posts from over the weekend, it covers a lot of your questions. You can also run stuff through damage calculators to get a very broad sense of how damaging each hit should be - we're not playing it 100% by-the-books (and I agree with you about Baltoy), but it gives a sense of scale to everything.

Yeah, I've been using the Psypoke stat and damage calculators. I feel it's the best way for me to make unbiased decisions about battles, but that's just my opinion. Keep in mind that avatars have half the stats of their respective Pokemon. Anyone can run the numbers themselves if they want to take the time.

On that note, make sure you're updating your avatar and Pokemons' levels and moves in your character sheet. It may make a difference in battles against NPCs.

EDIT: After seeing the quote several times, I finally just realized the leader should've said "whom you're cheering for". -_- Oh well. Terrorists don't have to be grammatically accurate.

@Zanavy mentioned that we could add an extra Gourgeist lurking in ambush near the back, so that @Thundercrash can still fight the middle trainer's Gourgeist without any problems :)

Well, dang. Checked it all myself an that Baltoy's still sitting at about 30% HP. Some-friggin-how. My Hydro Pump did much less than I would expect. ;-; Also it seems to be the only one I've done anything of significance to, aside from slowing down the others. Baltoy prolly is planning a Self-Destruct soon . . .

Also, legitimate question: Is this particular segment of the parade outdoors around Mauville, or inside? My post will be different depending on which it is.

@Rethel34 The avatars are all relatively weak at the moment - Kaze's Special Attack is equivalent to a Shellder (Base 45) and the Baltoy has a level advantage against you. Despite Lucas' IC omens, we aren't exactly wading through oceans of bodies yet :P

For context, the Gourgeist is stronger than Seras in every category except Special Attack/Defence, where Seras edges out marginally due to her higher level.

Rule #1: Don't fuck with the fairies.
Rule #2: Regardless of your allegiance, never let the fairies get within Fairy Aura range of one another.
Rule #3: If you fail at #1 and #2. RUN.

Also, we have both Xerneas and Yveltal present at the parade now. How long before they start fighting each *other*? =P
