@NightmareIndHello hello! As Rethel said, yes, this RP is alive and open for one more. We do quite a bit of our work on another site that enable easier collaboration and also allow us to post interactions as one giant post rather than a bunch of jumbled-up single posts. It'll be easy to add you into there.

I'm sure all these pages of posts must look intimidating, but I'll fill you in on the important plot events if you want to join. What you really need to know is the first post in the OOC section. Then, you can post your character sheet in OOC or PM it to me. Feel free to ask any questions you want, and I'm glad you're interested.

Ability: Flash fire

Moves: Magma Storm, Heat Wave, Earth Power, Iron Head, Ancient Power and (learned by tutoring) Dragon Pulse.

Legendary powers:

Passive powers:

Extreme heat resistance,

able to climb on walls and ceilings,

strong endurance (cause of Heatran's body being made up of molten rugged steel).

Mood based powers:

(These are fueled by Charlie's anger and are blocked by the Magma Stone as long as Charlie is carrying it with him.)

Heat radiation, (When angry, he starts getting hotter till it radiates off him and warms up the whole area.)

eruption. (When really angry, he starts to shake the earth around him, eventually summoning lava from the newly made cracks in the ground. When at his actual limit, the lava will be shooting out of the ground like small multiple vulcanos.)

Held item: Binding Band

Appearance:

Personality: He is easily set off but also easily calmed down. (unless you make him erupt, then you should run for your life.) He doesn't like big crowds but very much likes small company so he has someone to talk to. He mostly appears happy towards others but with effort you can notice he is trying to hide some unknown sadness. He also likes swimming in lava (which he discovered AFTER Heatran bonded with him, thank Arceus for that.) and spelunking.

Backstory: Born and raised in Canalave City, Charlie was your average guy with above average anger management problems. He got into a lot of fights at school, but furthermore everything went fine. That was until a certain accident happened to him recently after he and Heatran bonded. After this accident, Charlie forced himself to go into hiding. While being hidden, he searched for and found the Magma Stone, which he carries in his backpack, which he uses to keep control of his own powers. Shortly after acquiring the stone, he heard that his parents moved from his home town in grief of his disappearance, making him homeless. He now wanders the pokeworld, stuck with what he rather sees as a curse than a gift.

XD JK, you're fine. I think it's kind of funny how people tend to assume Zanavy is a man.

@NightmareIndMost of it looks good so far. If you don't plan for Charlie to have a Pokemon, you can bump him up to level 40 if you want. The Binding Band is totally fine. Your abilities section does reference the Magma Stone, which is rarer than I would like to allow a beginner character. But, considering it isn't known to give a power boost or anything, it's ok if you want Charlie to have that.

@Zanavy yeah, the Magma Stone is rare, but that is because it's a key item, not a held. Also, it is only said to control Heatran's powers, meaning it has no buffs and only debuffs. I planned to use it as a limiter for Charlie's powers, which he carries in his bag due to it's size, so he doesn't go full natural disaster mode every time someone pisses him off. I could change it so he doesn't get angry that easily, but I thought his emotional 'eruptions' would suit the avatar of the Lava Dome pokemon.

P.s. just noticed I kept talking on and on about just one attribute of my character xD

@NightmareInd That said, if you are joining we should talk about what the differences will be between Charlie and Rebeca.

As a starting point, I would suggest that Charlie can generate hotter flames, whereas Rebeca is physically stronger and has greater potential for general destruction (for example, you mention that Charlie has good endurance because he's partially made of steel. If Rebeca punched him, it would actually hurt).

Unless Rebeca somehow manages to get her hands on the Red Orb and goes Primal. Then I'm afraid Charlie's just out of his league, but could at least withstand being near her. Unlike pretty much everyone else.

@ThundercrashHmm, the Red orb is something that requires discussion on what it will actually do when you use it.
That's not be clarified on what it does for Rebecca in this world.
Obviously it would make her stronger, but the details need straightening out methinks- I'm currently doing this with Zan in regards to the Griseous orb.

@Thundercrash yeah, since Groudon is a ground type and creator of lands she should have generally more destruction skills, while Heatran is much more specialized in vulcanos and is a fire/steel type, meaning he should be more focused on lava and durability. Besides, Heatran is a sp. attacker with good defense and sp. defense, and Groudon is mostly focused on attack and defense.

@ThundercrashHm. I just realized Rebeca is one of the few characters who has never directly heard from their Avatar. Perhaps the Red Orb might unlock Groudon's consciousness?

@Leos Klien I did include in Rebeca's CS a description of what she looks like in her Primal form (essentially a humanized version of Primal Groudon)

"In Primal Form, Rebeca becomes much closer in form to Groudon. Her markings and scars glow with molten heat, her nails transform into claws that have completely overtaken her fingertips and toes, her teeth become completely carnivorous, and she grows to half again her normal size. Her eyes take on the same molten appearance as her markings, and extreme waves of heat radiate off her body, melting or incinerating most nearby objects. Her skin becomes closer to the armoured plates that Groudon possesses. For the love of all that is alive and good, do not put her in this state."

If there is a serious discussion that needs to be had in terms of the affect it has on her, however, I'm always open to it.

@ThundercrashWell, just in case the day comes when Rebecca turns into a miniature sun, it'd be nice to have clarified what it does in terms of Avatars and how to stop it, weaknesses and new strengths etc.
