Here are the current events:

- Boss and Tom are currently going to an old lighthouse in order to root out some pirates or raiders.

- Paradise 'Par' Rapids just failed to get in contact with the King, and is now trying to join the Revolution.

As for what happened before, it really isn't that important.

Slightly longer summary, encompassing most of roleplay.

In the Savreaux District, Sebastian Monroe "Shadow" arrives, offering his services to the king - and he is sent to assassinate Napoleon V in the Proulx District by Captain Fillimore, who knows full well that the stealth suited man will most likely never return. Longshot (Dominic Garret) arrives to stake his reward in the Proulx District after taking out a raider encampment in the East, only to find out that the Proulx District is in shambles with a riot going on. The mercenary/NCR scout decides here to join the revolution - and is sent into their base, deep below the district.

Nobdy "Boss" Duhmas enters the trading outpost, setting up his boat and heading out into the outpost to trade goods. Tom Carson has crashed onto shore after a harrowing escape from some gulf marauders; losing many of his enclave comrades - Art Hartmann missing in action. The badly beaten and bruised officer stumbled onto shore, whereupon he met Captain Cade, head of the Trading Outpost of Orleans (TOO) Captain Cade took Tom Carson in, offering him a fine, hot meal and white wine in the main Order Stronghold of the outpost. It was there that a revolutionary attack took place, bombing almost the entire back half of the building, leaving it in shambles. In the seedier part of town, Boss meets a revolutionary mechanic, buying an Eyebot named "Asshead" or "A-H" and sees the explosion close by. In the stronghold, Cade and Carson tore through most "revolutionaries" in seconds, realizing they were initiates - only to meet the real thing shortly on - a revolutionary in full riot gear, helmet and all. The revolutionary wiped out the Order Knights surrounding them and dueled with Carson, only to finally be killed as a burning staircase collapsed onto her.

Captain Cade, heavily wounded and weakened, was carried to a fanboat to head to the Savreaux District down the Mississippi as Par Rapids arrived, converting an old trading warehouse into a makeshift field hospital, tending to all those damaged that hadn't allied themselves with a faction yet. Carson and Boss meet up in the ruins of the stronghold, and follow an Order Eyebot announcement, hearing about a hefty cap payment for a job in taking over a lighthouse. Par Rapids leaves the makeshift hospital, and heads to the Savreaux District and disguises himself as a noble, only to be turned away by a super mutant guard, Paladin Rand. From there he travels to the Proulx District, and sees Napoleon V in person giving her riot speech, and gains a small audience with her in a bar as the people are whipped up into the riot.

Just wanted to pop in and say that this roleplay is incredibly well crafted. The Bayou Wasteland both fits convincingly into Fallout lore and artfully ties into the region's history, the visuals in the OP are absolutely superb, and the factions and mutated creatures introduced are interesting without coming off as over-the-top bizarre. This is what people mean when they talk about 'High Casual' RPs, and is also an excellent example of how to take an established universe and make it your own. The only serious issue I see is that the plot is sort of wistful, but that's an essential part of Fallout, I think.

Impressive throughout. Hopefully I'll have a little while to read through the IC some time.

@Ordure, I haven't made a final decision yet; I'll wait for a couple of days, then if no one joins the Revolution before then, you can run Par as an NPC, or I can kill him off/send him back to Vicksburg.

I'm a little busy with other roleplays and non-RPG obligations, but I might be able to make a character, and for the Anti-Order side. Have a few different ideas already.

I could always create another character, to make up for the shortcomings on the revolutionary side. I even have an idea; a ghoul veteran of the Chinese Army who has lived in and around the Wasteland for years.
