May or may not actually use these guys, just want an excuse to have some elite mooks with honor.

Name: Licht Gruppe

Universe of Origin: A mixed force of volunteers from across the Multiverse, but the founding members are comprised of Ex-TSAB personnel from the Lyrical Nanoha universe.

Objectives: To bring everlasting peace and order to the Multiverse through force and domination. The old council was too soft and too indecisive in the eyes of the founding members and thus they ended up joining the Reign of Chaos, where their harsh but effective rule actually brought about peace and security instead of the unrest and uncertainty of the council's effete democracy and political correctness.

Members: Largely comprised of powerful magic-users, they are a diverse bunch that includes various non-human races like Elves, Fallen Angels, Demi-humans and Digimon along with the Belkan/Mid-Childan human mages forming the core of their force.

Capabilities: About the size of a large company, they never had more than 150 members due to their stringent recruitment standards and their strict adherence to morality and justice. But because of the power each member wields, they collectively hit with the firepower of an entire army corps; but not with the endurance or strategic presence.

History: Formed during the chaos wrought by the fall of the Council, they were originally a small platoon of TSAB remnants who were trapped deep inside enemy territory and sought to fight their foes to the last; but after slowly getting the bigger picture from seeing how the subjects of the Reign were safe and protected along with the mounting numbers of civilian casualties resulting from their "freedom fighting", their captain decided to turn in his group of holdouts after personally purging those who wouldn't see reason.

To their surprise, one of the more merciful-and devious members of the executive council implored the others to spare them and utilize their abilities as a propaganda tool and a powerful military asset. Years of warfare, expansion and internal conflict later, Licht Gruppe has earned their spot as one of the most renowned teams in the Reign's military; respected by the Resistance and loved by the Reign's subjects and less evil members for their honorable conduct, adherence to the laws of war and intolerance of cruelty from both friend and foe. Though there are always those who would wish to see such heroic soldiers fall into darkness and despair...

Personality:
Arrogant, self-assured, and ruthless. Darquesse is devoid of empathy, completely incapable of understanding human emotion. She further believes herself to be superior to all other forces, and enjoys the worship of less powerful beings. She is also intensely curious, to the extent of lowering her defences just to find out how much damage an attack would do, and how much it would hurt. While she lacks all empathy she isn't completely devoid of a conscience somehow, and almost paradoxically enjoys performing the occasional act of good alongside the meaningless slaughter.

Bio:
When Darquesse fully emerged from Valkyrie Cain during the battle with the Remnants, she went on a killing spree. While Pleasant attempted to talk her down, she merely ignored him and continued slaughtering the Remnants. While her efforts ended the Remnant threat to the world, she had no intention of stopping there, and proceeded to leave entire cities dead in her wake. A team of shunters (dimension-porting mages) was assembled as a last-hope defence against the unstoppable Darquesse, and she was cast into another reality. Left to wander the Multiverse, Darquesse was instantly pulled into the events of the Multiversal war between the Empire and the Resistance.

Abilities:
[Magical Prodigy]
Darquesse is able to see magic, and can interact with intangible magical beings as if they were physical. She also possesses the ability to negate or destroy magical spells weaker than her own arcane powers. She isn't able to negate offensive magic, but could for example destroy the enchantment on a magical sword. Her knowledge and understanding of magic also allow her to analyze magic, and she will often understand the function of a spell or enchantment after studying it for a minute or so.

[Elemental Magic]
The first school of magic she learned allows Darquesse to utilize and manipulate the elements. She is able to create infernos, fly, shatter rocks with a thought, and create vast cyclones of water. Her mastery of elemental magic is nearly unmatched, and her flames possess the ability to melt through steel and stone with relative ease.

[Necromancy]
While not nearly as advanced as the knowledge of older necromancers, Darquesse is able to use several aspects of Necromancy. She's able to create and control solid shadows with the power to throw cars and tear through steel. Her shadow walls are bullet-proof, and the strength of her shadows increases the more death is nearby. She furthermore possesses the ability to sense living beings, and is able to exert some level of control over mindless undead beings. However, she vastly prefers the destructive aspects of necromancy.

[Augmented Body]
By enhancing her physical form with magic, Darquesse is able to achieve inhuman feats. She can move near the speed of sound both during flight and on the ground. She possesses the physical strength to throw cars and punch through brick walls with ease. Her skin is also incredibly resistant, able to resist being thrown through buildings and hit with missiles. However, she often lowers her durability to allow hits to damage her, her curiosity driving her to find out how much something hurts, and how much damage it would do. She possesses the ability to heal her body nearly instantly, making nearly any damage dealt to her body pointless. The only way to kill her is to destroy the brain. Her healing can also be applied to others with a touch.

@lmpkio I'd personally deny Wizard's char there just out of my DnD wizard sense tingling. Undefined magic is very very dangerous as it can powercreep out of control very quickly, especially when said mage can also take on the aspects of a warrior AND a spellbreaker. While a warrior can only just hit things harder, magic can do so much more, so leaving it undefined is... well...

I mean that char is stronger than mine when I set the first sheet in. xD And I went out of my way to try to define strong weaknesses as its own section xD.

Yeah, and thats the bit that'd spiral out of control very very quickly, especially since it also makes her a spellbreaker and I'm going to guess allow precision stuff. That combined with augmented body to make her as strong as Thor as a MAGE? yeah thats too much.

Now if the power was something like Rubick from DOTA 2 where she could copy the last spell used by someone temporarily and forget it after some time or when she copies another spell, thats well defined and works well.

She basically has all the power of magic at her disposal and can most certainly stop any attack thrown at her, weather that be magic or not. She even gains power from fighting magic users from what I see.

And thats the problem mate. It has no defined limit on how much or how powerful she can learn, AND it makes her a mage AND a spellbreaker. Add in her last ability and she can have the strength of a warrior on top of that, and you hit 3 archtypes, two of which scale quadraticly and the third scaling linearly with the quadratic scaling of the other two. And you have no defined limit on the amount of spells you may or may not learn with no defined 'accuracy'.

Thank you. If you want I can try to give a through explanation as to why I actually spoke out about this one if you want.

That being said Wizard, if you wanna do something like Rubick who takes less damage from spells and can temporarily copy spells while making them slightly better due to having no windup, go for it.

Meh, this was my attempt to tone it down a bit. She's certainly far weaker than Apocalypse, the God Emperor, or even Devimon. But if you think she's too powerful, I can app something else.

Spellbreaker isn't an archetype. It's a speciality or sub-archetype at best, the ability to counter/negate magic.

Having physical capabilities in addition to magical abilities is nothing new. Her physical capabilities also aren't all that bad, considering she's barely a ten-tonner. Compared to chars like Bayonetta she's both slow and weak.

The only part where you have a point is your statement on the snowballing, and I might agree that that's overpowered. But the rest of what you were saying was nonsense.

Abilities:

  • Superhuman Abilities: Bayonetta has superhuman speed and agility, being able to perform numerous acrobatic feats with ease. She also appears to be extremely perceptive, able to evade attacks from all directions through anticipating her enemy movements in battle. She possesses immense superhuman strength and endurance, shown on numerous occasions when she is able to manipulate heavy objects ranging from vehicles to skyscrapers and also spring back up to fight whenever she is hurt.
  • Bullet Arts: Bayonetta masters the Bullet Arts, a fighting style utilized by the Umbra Witches which uses a combination of melee attacks and gunfire, particularly from guns used on both hands and feet. It allows the fighter to execute strings of fast paced moves as well as combine them with the use of Wicked Weaves. It also allows the fighter to become efficient at any weapon they happen to come across using the same configuration of hands and feet, explaining Bayonetta's efficiency in being able to execute various attacks with different weapons as well as utilize the Angel Arms she can pick up.
  • Wicked Weaves: Wicked Weaves are a type of attack that can be executed by powerful Umbra Witches to summon forth Infernal Demons by using their hair as a conduit. Bayonetta's Wicked Weaves usually summon the massive limbs of Madama Butterfly, the demoness she has made a pact with. It also has a more powerful variant named Infernal Weaves that appear when Bayonetta has powered up into Umbran Climax. In addition to using normal Wicked Weaves for every attack, the end of combos cause Infernal Weaves to fully manifest the Infernal Demons for extreme damage in a large area-of-effect.
  • Umbran Climax: Umbran Climax is a Technique that allows every attack performed to be powered up and strengthened for a short duration. When used, the witch glows a distinct purple color and Bayonetta's hair becomes long and flowing with a silver chain pattern laced into it. The strength of Bayonetta's attacks are increased as well as her overall range and area-of-effect thanks to the Wicked Weaves which are called forth with every attack. Each combo also ends with an Infernal Weave, an ability that calls forth an Infernal Demon to release an devastating final attack. If she is not at maximum vitality, activating Umbran Climax will slowly regenerate her health for the entire time it is activated. The demons summoned during Umbran Climax are dependent on which weapons are currently equipped and different combinations create different results depending on the combo and whether the weapon is on hands or feet.
  • Witch Time: Witch Time is the name of an ancient art used by powerful Umbra Witches, which speeds up their agility and speed, allowing the user to bypass their opponent's defenses and execute combinations of attacks and other feats that would otherwise be impossible. (Unlike the one used in the games, think of it as Flash Step from Bleach).
  • Infernal Demons: The Infernal Demons, also known as Infernals, are the supernatural inhabitants of Inferno that can be summoned by the Umbra Witches as part of their role of maintaining the darkness. These demons bestow witches with great power and wisdom and are mainly used to fight and hunt down the angels. However, this power comes at a high price. If a witch does not sacrifice angels every day or she dies/is killed, she is forced to fulfill the contract to the demon she made a pact with and her soul is dragged down to Inferno for the eternity. Bayonetta has several demons she can call down upon, including: Madama Butterfly, Gomorrah, Malphas, Hekatoncheir, Scolopendra, Phantasmaraneae, Labolas, Mictlantecuhtli, Baal, Hydra, Diomedes, and Carnage.
  • Beast Within: Beast Within is a series of transformational techniques that Bayonetta can use that allows her to transform into an animal form and unlock mysterious magical powers. This technique is used by both the Umbra Witches and the Lumen Sages. Bayonetta can transform into a panther, a crow, a bat, and a snake.


He has a point about Bayonetta. Manipulating skyscrapers through sheer strength? Holy banana balls Batman.
