They sure are.

But for a serious answer (at least for why I went with Blue Suns here), I probably could've fit Eclipse into the story instead, but at the time I originally wrote Kasy (Mass Effect: Nova. Not a lot of folks from that one still around), no one else had it out for the Suns, while we did already have both an Eclipse and a Blood Pack hater.

Also, I'm not sure she would've fit in so well with the Eclipse tech/skill superiority approach, and they don't tend to take slaves or respect guts as much, which were important aspects of her story. The Blue Suns have an excellent combination of tactical genius, blunt brutality and vengeful nature that shaped Kasy into the cold hearted bitch she is today.

Drono is gonna reffer to her as the "One Coldhearted mama." And he calls Mirage "The Miracle Cripple". The other Turians will be reffered to in plural as "The Tur Crew" becouse thats the name of his favorite group of rappers. The Vorcha is "Bitey". Humans get a number designation. Tonka is Tonka, possibly "Mah Main Krogan Tonka"

You know what
We should so totally come up with Mass Effect equivalents of current day bands
So that the crew have their own music tastes that reflect on real world bands and music and stuff

@Hank Drono got away from average drell life as soon as he could. HE spent more time around criminal humans, Bartarian and saurians for most his adult life. He has a hard time accepting the whole "Serve and play nice for the Hanar." Solitary, adventerous Drell tend to assimilate and adapt other races cultural norms.

I suppose anything is possible, but I still have a hard time picturing a drell behaving like that -- or even being capable of possessing a sense of humor in that vein. Thane Krios is just one drell, of course, but I got the impression from him that they're all melancholic and spiritual, what with the eidetic memory and intense flashbacks. Drono is just... so... human.

@Hank You have a point certeinly. It should balance out once i pin the charachter down properly in charachter. Most Drells are deeply spiritual it is true. Drono is just screwed up.

I actually kind of have to agree. There was a certain amount of uncanny valley with that last post, although I would point out Kolyat and Feron are both quite different from Thane, personality wise. Thane's a terminally ill living weapon that has an almost Samara-like acceptance for who he is and what he does, whereas Kolyat has some identity issues from not being able to relate to his absentee father and his own youth. Feron actually has a personality that can almost be described as a pluckish rogue where he has an easy-going charm and a fair deal of moral flexibility to make things suit his needs. In that sense, Drono is fine, but the very human slang can be somewhat jarring.

What slang. Other then Dibs/Boned? I even made up new drell/hanar specific slang to avoid making him sound TO human. ;_;. That said I am gonna tone him down a bit. Feeling out process you know!

Pretty much just stuff like that. O.o I'm not complaining or anything like that, or maybe it was the Deadpool disclaimer in the OOC before you posted, but something felt off that I couldn't quite identify and figured it was more me than you.

You're fine, honest!

I did look up Drells in any way I could though. They seem to really take to the races/cultures/societies around them. So much that their old religions are dying out in favor for other ones. Drono feels a big disconnect with the rest of his race and the Hanar, born from the resentment of not being elligable to be part of the Compact. He kind of surrogated it with obsessing over things not Drell and Hanar.

That. ANd most other Drell would likely think something was gravely wrong with Drono. I blame reliving getting shot in the back by his best friend far to often then is good for a person.

ANd no. HE won't be throwing human gangsta slang around .That was just me having some fun with ideas OOC xD

@Dervish: Umm, I think Vellios was completely ignored there. XD Not even a mention... Geeze, you're so mean! *teases*

@Hellis: As for Drono, he does come off as human and less Drell, honestly with the lacking detail in ME like foods, music, homes, etc. It's not easy to fill in the gaps really so for all we know, Drono could be the real deal if that had happened with a Drell. Either way, he add favor and fun. In addition, Vellios isn't your normal turian either so they can be oddballs together! <3 I see Vell as more of a bayou version of turians really.

Can we also come up with other stuff as well like food names, etc? Quarians and Turians can't have human stuff and having to put literally Dextro before everything human will get boring and old fast!

This a bit of what I think a combo of turian and human might've like, though with the vocal cords being two, I think it would have that resounding echo like the voice here does. Not extreme, but subtly here.
