@Antarctic Termite@Muttonhawk@poog the pig@Lugubrious I loved Redwall when I was younger - I probably still do, but haven't opened a Redwall book in ages.
The only thing inhibiting me from going for it is whether that is something Vowzra would do...

I never read Redwall. Earthsea was more my thing--

@KhoAny word on the Khookies thing? Do posts have to be written from the hero's POV to earn them khookies?

@Fabulous Knight If the post is not written from the hero's POV but the hero features in it a great deal and there is enough there to be judged, then khookies can be earned. For instance, if I had written Antarctic's post where The One By Immortals Altered features, she might have earned a few khookies.
Posts written from the Hero's PoV earn khookies more easily though.

Can everyone with a Hero post link me to their relevant post/s so I can know how many khookies to bake?

@KhoInteresting.

@Fabulous Knight I actually can't remember if they count or not. If by 'first' you mean the process of their creation, then probably not. If it's just the first post showing what they did upon ascending to Hero level, then it would count.

@KhoBah, I'll resist the temptation to claim that Cherry-Eater's sacrificial family fun-time was an action as Mammon's hero.

@Fabulous Knight Well, did he become a hero before the sacrifice or after?
For instance, in the last iteration my foremost hero reverted to being a simple human for a turn or so, and I wrote quite a few posts with him in his human form - and not a single khookie was earned T-T

@KhoAfter -- hence the need to resist the temptation to fluff it and say he was a hero as soon as he agreed to Mammon's deal.

Here is the collab with Ventus in it, which is all he's done if we don't count creation posts.

@Cyclone I think Ventus did a few things in the creation post though, I'll check them both out

Just a note - I am being exceptionally harsh in some cases due to posts being extraordinarily good.

@Lugubrious Who is this proud soul?
Spelling and Grammar: 10/10
Writing Quality: 7/10.
Story Line Advancement: 5/10 [the coming of this proud soul alone is story line advancement, I think we're going to see some very interesting things from him...]
Character Development: 6/10 [his worldview is fascinating - beauty and eternity are meant to be mutually exclusive, but he seems to think otherwise...he also messed up the beautiful aphids and caterpillars T-T]
Independence: 3/10 [so far so good, you haven't had much opportunity to interact with other characters but all is good]
Total: 32/50; 64%; 6 Khookies to Allure (I believe that your hero's name?)

@Dawnscroll
Spelling and Grammar: 10/10
Writing Quality: 8/10 [what can I say, that was a massive post and your writing quality was consistent throughout]
Story Line Advancement: 5/10 [creating things, humans advancing, much philosophy]
Character Development: 7/10 [900 years of growth right there]
Independence: 4/10 [you're doing a great deal on your own, and that is brilliant, but you will be limited so long as you don't interact with other characters]
Total: 34/50; 68%; 7 Khookies - 900 years passed, Time passage bonus activated, 6 extra Khookies - total of 13 Khookies to Elysium

@Kho
For the small mention of what The One By Immortals Altered has been doing in the past two posts, as well as Time passage bonus, 3 Khookies to The One By Immortals Altered

@Cyclone
Creation post
Spelling and Grammar: 10/10
Writing Quality: 7/10
Story Line Advancement: 2/10
Character Development: 3/10
Independence: 3/10
Total: 25/50; 50%; 5 Khookies to Ventus

Second post
Spelling and Grammar: 10/10
Writing Quality: 8/10
Story Line Advancement: 5/10
Character Development: 5/10
Independence: 7/10
Total: 36/50; 72%; 7 Khookies to Ventus
I'm not sure how old Ventus is, so will withhold giving a Time passage bonus until I am told

@Nevix If you don't confirm whether you're in or out in the next 12 hours, you're out.

If you notice any disparities between the above and the OP, that is because I'm planning on tweaking the OP soon, particularly with regards to time-skips and levelling. Rather than levelling up over time, Heroes will receive a 'Time passage bonus' in the form of extra khookies. These will depend on the average passage of time set against the time-skip and will also be subject to GM discretion

@Kho

Ventus was made after Zephy shaped the land and so isn't billions of years old, but is probably already well into the thousands if not millions. He was there the whole time that Slough made all that life and the Resort, which we're apparently saying wasn't instant.

Seeing as he isn't a mortal being all that time probably shouldn't give him 10,000 khookies though

@Cyclone Your average has been 6 so far, so I will give Ventus 6 Khookies as Time passage bonus, like Elysium

So I'm making the humans still. Working on the post (AKA making sure it's compelling and fun to read and well made and completely without grammar errors, so I'm doing the personally impossible) but I'm still in somewhat in a knot about the whole life stuff. What are the exact consequences if life isn't made from Slough's essence?

It can't grow or evolve on its own, it is targeted by White Giants and other such protectors of life, natural life displays an aversion to it, and it doesn't sustain itself via normal processes. Basically, humans made without Slough's essence wouldn't be humans at all; they would be as alien as Niciel's angels, and would reflect Realthos rather than natural laws. As such, they would be deathly and dark and barely like flesh-and-blood humans.

On a related note, if you're looking for a way to get inspiration for the human form, Realthos might do well to encounter Allure.

He'll draw inspiration from the souls coming from Logos' planet at first. But encountering Allure would be a good idea too. Thanks!

Also: deathly? Dark? I'm almost convinced to do that instead...But nah, Reathos will share one creation! He shall give humanity to all gods uninfluenced!

@KhoI will hereby be resigning from this RP. I could go on and on about how busy I was, but it's my own fault. I'm new to the whole thing and bit off more than I could chew. I had hoped to get back to this at some point, but with my GMing duties in another RP, I won't be able too. Hopefully, I'll wisen up to my limits in the future and be able to work with you again. In the meantime, I hope that you all have a great time.
