"May e" nyx said, "I seem to just be sensitive to sweet things" she shrugged, finishing her bread, then cleaning up.

"A nap sounds good" Sasha said, smiling, "but so does this" she shifted, kissed him, "yes. Hoth good options"

"Your sister is full of mysteries" tram said, smiling at Orna "thats what makes her so wonderful"

"When did you become so serious?" Hermia wondered

"Alright. See you then" Caex said, being quiet so as not to risk waking Auryn.

"So brother, are you happy with how it turned out?" Aura asked him.

"I think you know that I am, yes" he replied, seeing that she only asked as a way of making small talk.

"Thanks for cleaning the table" Larek said.

"How about we fall asleep in each other's arms?" Kos suggested.

"I'm not serious so much as realistic about these sort of things" Orna replied. "I mean, I suppose I let on my more romantic side a lot, and I admit I enjoy that a great deal, but sometimes, even a romantic female has to do some unromantic things, like cut the heads off of chickens."

Avera smiled and walked to the stables, going to Steele and stroking his neck. "We can start riding more often now my friend. And we're getting you that mare like we've been talking about," She said.

Nyx smiled, sitting down,"habit, I guess. Didnt realise I was doing it"

Sasha nodded and smioed "alright"

"I meant tran, but tnats good to know too" hermia said, "tran was the jokester in our family. Its been hard actualky to think of him having a farm, and married. But it seems to suit him"

Tran poked his tongue out at his sister, who laughee, "then again, maybe some thi gs never change" she said."till, thats co siderable restraint on his part there"

So far so good. The baby was quiet and Caex let himself breathe a sigh of relief.

Aura went to go find Ryland. She'd wait before telling her parents that they had a grandson, as her Caex and Avera's wishes.

"It's a good habit to have" Larek said, giving his wife a little kiss on the cheek.

"You can rest on my chest if you want to" Kos said.

"Heh. He's been funny from time to time" Orna admitted. "But mostly he's been a dependable, hard-working and rather handsome male."

Rylan was back in the bathroom, giving himself a much more thorough bath than the quick one he had before. He let out a breath and leaned back against the tub, relaxing.

Avera smiled and gave Steele a good rub down and then started brushing out his coat and mane, leaving his tail for last.

"Are you done yet?" Aura asked through the door. "Now that Auryn's hatched, we can get back to that examination when you're finished."

Caex sat down on the couch, trying to relax. He'd have many days and nights to handle issues with the kids, so he tried to enjoy this breather while he could.

Nyx smiled, "it is" she agreed

"Oh, ne has always been depe dable" hermia said, "and hard working. Handsome has to be in the eye of the beholder, and given the fact he is my brother, im gonna let that one slid" she said with a laugh

Tran laughed as well, "yeah, but you see me as a little brother, even after the fact we are both adults"

Hermia shrugged

"Is there any kind of food you'd like me to plant? Larek asked.

Kos lay down on the warm grass, positioned so that Sasha could comfortably lie down on him before they napped.

"Well, we are married" Orna protested, giving Tran a hug. "He's the best-looking sibling in a family of good-looking dracons. Then again, the position of "best" is in the eye of the beholder, as you said."

"I'm just relaxing at the moment, but you can come in if you want love," Ryland called back.

Avera finished and started back to the house, taking her boots off.

Aura stepped into the room. "I'll wait here until you finish, but if you need anything, just let me know, alright?"

Caex got up and gave Avera a hug "Everything's quiet in here. How's Steele?"

"What foods do we have at the moment" nyx asked

Sasha shifted until she was comfortable, and let her eyes close

"Thats true" hermia said with anlaughh

tran returned Orna s hug, "no, I am the best" he said with kaughter in his voice.

"We've got a lot of seeds. Carrots, cucumber, tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, onions, lettuce, even some spinach" Larek answered.

Kos let his eyes close as well, but before he went to sleep, he made sure he had Sasha held tight and close in hi strong arms.

"Well, you are the strongest, probably" Orna said, putting her hands on Tran's muscular shoulders.

"What about califlower and brocholi? And fruit" nyx said

Sasha drifted off feeling safe and warm in Kos's arms

tran cjuckled, "thats probably true, unless Railing has returned to how he was before"

Ryland nodded but stood and got out, wrapping a towel around his waist.

"He's okay, he misses his rides. And that's odd, you'd think Auryn would be hungry by now," Avera said.

"He's probably more tired than hungry, but-" Caex was cut off. There was a soft crying coming from the room. "-right on cue."

"Nice and clean, lover?" Aura asked, admiring his muscular form.

"I think we have some broccoli rabe seeds" Larek explained, knowing that modern broccoli was a hybridization of broccoli rabe and cauliflower.

"How is Railing doing, anyway?" Orna asked.

"Alright" nyx said, atifling a yawn, "they all sound good"

tran blinked looking over at Hermia.

"Last letter I got from Prudence said all was well. Do you realose ots been four months since they got married? Time really goes quick" hermia said, "but the latest letter from our mother says that she doesnt think he will ever be tje same, wjich given wjat he went through, is expected. But he seems good"

Avera smiled and went to Auryn. "I'm coming little one," She said, going and picking him up, sitting in a comfortable chair before undoing her shirt for the baby.

"Yep, now, I believe you wanted to do an inspection?" He asked.

"Tired, love?" Larek wondered.

"I sure hope he recovers. Prduence will set him right, I hope" Orna commented.

"Hermia's filled a void in my soul. I'm sure Prudence can do the same for Railing" Veax added.

"Weren't you going to use that stuff your mother got you?" Caex asked.

"Just to put my mind at ease" Aura said. "Now, if you'd lie down on the table, I'll just have a look." she pointed to a massage table in the room, which could be used for other purposes as well. This isn't going to lead to mating, though" she added with a smile.
