Fasuto examined the portal first and took a step in cautiously. He felt strange for sure, but he was inside the storage room.

"No need to worry about that," Rughoi interrupted. The new general Rama was becoming a bit of a problem. Maybe he knows too much. This could mean a promotion in his future, or an assassination attempt, depending on how his loyalty swings. "Rama, prepare your armies for the coming assault. Merat, you as well. I want this attack to be as soon as can possibly be done. Send all your concerns to Kutur. I shall see to my own." Kutur began sputtering a protest, but Rughoi had already walked off to check on his guard.

Kara chuckled at his offer, but in a kind way. "You still have to learn some things about our lands, but don't worry, I'm willing to help you. For one thing, there is no 'main city' in the dracon lands, and I am perfectly content with my magic as it is. Thanks for offering. If you want to help with my magic in any way, just train with me later. Now, if we could just be quiet for a few minutes, please." She fell silent again and tried harder to meditate.

Aurescia heard the sound of paw pads skittering across the floor of the storage room. She got up from the mat she was napping on and went to see what the commotion was about. In a moment, she saw the blue-furred fox carrying the silver sands she had requested.

"Oh! Who are you? Did Ophion send you? You're holding the sands he was getting for me." As soon as she had finished speaking, the portal snapped shut.

Rama sighed and went off to see on the quality of his own men. They'd probably take the city, but it would be unnecessarily painful. They'd have to work very fast to distribute the spoils, establish a new government, repair and upgrade the city's defenses, and hope that they could do this all in time before a counterattack occurred. Traeton had few allies, none of which were capable of taking the city itself. Any force seeking to claim the city would have to come from farther abroad. This at least would by Rughoi's forces some time. They'd have to use every second of it well. Surely, news of this uprising was spreading already.

Fasuto's eyes widened as the portal snapped shut. It's on him to tell it if he was in danger or not.

"Oh wait.." He said looking at the lady. "You're Sir Ophion's wife?" He asked, with a smile. "Not to be rude, sorry. He's uh.. he teleported me here as he go around some of those rust-ants creatures." He half-lied. Well, it wasn't really a lie.

He transferred the silvery sand to Ophion's wooden bowls he found empty in the strorage shed, making this bowls to exist drains magic. He made them disappear, it's parts turning into cyan hexagons, scatters, and disappears into thin air.

Ennave have greatly appreciated Ophion's good deed. She whispered something to Fasuto, her yellow vibrance was fully visible in the fox' left shoulder. On the shoulder pad.

"My name is Fasuto, ma'am. At your service.. I guess." He introduced himself and quite unsure about it. "I mean.. I wouldn't mind helping out." He offered to help with a gentle smile. Part of him asks if Ophion kinda made it out. Part of him reaaally wanted to battle them and show off a little.

Smith nodded his head not wanting to anger her, Thinking that he would teach her some of his magic while wanting to ask her to teach him some healing magic. He would need it for when their is no one around to help him out, Closing his eyes once more thinking of his mother once more as he moved a bit closer towards Kara.

"I'm Aurescia. While I'm glad to see good manners, there's no need to be so form-ahh!" A second portal had opened up and Ophion fell through it, his robes burned with the acid spewed out by the creatures. He landed right next to his wife and slowly climbed up, lightly burned but not seriously injured.

"Hi honey. I'm home."

Aurescia quickly checked over him. In a moment, she could see that he probably wasn't hurt. She gave him a smile. "You're late."

"Met a new friend, had to deal with 'traffic', as you can see. I'll go change. Please, see to Fasuto. He fought hard to get you this stuff."

"Go ahead, my love. And please, don't get any acid on the carpet." She turned her attention back to Fasuto.

"As I was saying, you are free to stay here, you and your familiar. I guess introductions are also in order, Miss spider."

Kara meditated for several minutes, her rest only broken after the sound of a light chime set to go off at the end of an hourglass's run. It was a little enchanted trinket, useful for keeping track of time. She got up and stretched out with a soft roar. "Alright, much better. Now for some prayers." She prayed silently to several of the gods and goddesses, spending an extra amount of time on several ones whose spheres of influenced covered fertility and love. Finally, she was done.

"Alright. Now, you wanted to train?"

"I'm Ennave, Lady Aurescia. Pleased to meet you." Her sweet voice sure made Fasuto smile, she bowed her head with respect.

"Now I'm done.. maybe I can go back in shopping after taking payment. This city.. what's it called?" Fasuto askee his spider who sighed and responded.

"Hurthihes."

"Yeah, right. We can explore around a bit.." He said with a smile

"Oh, that was where you were. This is the city of Minbenthac. The portal took you quite a distance" Aurescia explained. "If you need payment, I can get something for you right now." She reached out to pet the spider, stroking Ennave carefully. "You know, I had a familiar once. He was a lizard of some sort. Sentient, like you. He wanted to leave, so I let him go. I wonder what happened to that little guy."

"Yes now we will need a more open place to practice our magic" He said now standing up and walking out of the shrine, The shrine would be a bad place to practice and he was not going to be the test subject for her practicing his own magic.Waiting outside of he shrine for Kara thinking of the hills or perhaps some place closer to the farm.

"We can practice in the grassy fields near the farm. My father has targets and things already set up. He trains himself, after all" Kara explained. "Was there anything else you needed to do? If not, we can head there immediately." Kara put a hand on his chest. "But if you ask me, you're already in fine shape, handsome."

"Familiar? Well. This familiar was very sticky." Fasuto teased the little spider who pouted and give him a small electric shock. Fasuto yelped at the sting Ennave gave.

"You're harsh." He said. "So where are we?"

"Minbenthac." Ennave backed up again.

"Minbenthac." Fasuto repeated. "Wait. That means.. we moved farther than it seems?" Fasuto gasped in surprise at his own realization. Ennave sighed in defeat.

"No i think we can go right ahead with the training" He said blushing form her touching his bare chest, His own hand moving to her scaly shoulder rubbing it gently."Wow so smooth" He said not thinking of what he just said. Thinking to what Kara's mother said to him he would need to compliment her and such.

"We're in the middle of the dracon realms. Hurthihes was closer to the shore." Aurescia explained. "Now, this is the storage room of my husband's store. He and I run the place to earn a living while we practice our magic. Our current home is connected to it, down a hallway. We run the largest independent magic store in Minbenthac." She inspected the silver sand, but continued to talk.

"Looks good. It'll make for some good elixirs. That's basically a fancy word for 'potion', you know. Anyway, when I said 'independent', I mean we are not affiliated with the guilds or university of magic. No support from them, but no terms or conditions either and we don't have to pay them dues or offer support to any other group, apart from paying our taxes, of course. We also have no one to acquire magic ingredients for us, so we either depend on wholesalers and merchants or go find them ourselves. I think you know the rest."

"Why thank you. I do my best to keep my scales nice and fresh. I'm glad that you noticed" She walked out of the shrine and down the hallway, stopping only for a moment to put on a fresh top piece, which was the same shade of brown as her loincloth. "Hope you're ready for a hot day. Looks like another scorcher."

"It's understood." Fasuto nodded with a smile. "So you.." Fasuto yawned. "Sorry, haven't got enough sleep. So you, buy ingridients on merchants instead? Sometimes find it on your own? You guys sure have tales to tell." He gave a comment then smirked.

"I can still help. Low on money and all that. I'll rent a room on an inn nearby or so." He said with another smile.

"Oh, I wouldn't hear of that." Aurescia retorted. "You helped my husband, and you're a guest. You can stay here, no charge. And I'll pay you for the silver sands, don't worry. For now, maybe we should get out of the storage room. Not a good place for conversation. If you would be so kind as to follow me, we can get you some food, a place to rest, and if you don't mind saying it, a bath. You still smell like the rust monsters you must have fought to get those sands."

"I, uh. I appreciate it but, I don't want to invade your household! It's not like I don't like it here but, ah.. I can handle myself ma'am." He reassured. "No acid spit goo in me. I'm fine.." He said. But he followed Aurescia to wherever she go.

"Invade? Of course you're not an invader, you're a guest. And you look like you could use some food and rest." She led them down a hallway which connected the store and the house. Ophion and Aurescia had a three-story house, with their living room, kitchen, and public rooms of that sort on the ground level, guest rooms and spare bedrooms on the second level, and their own room along with an office on the smaller third level, along with an attic just above those for a kind of fourth story. The second floor was mostly empty rooms, a sign that they planned on filling those rooms with children when they were finally ready to do so.

"I'll get you something, but first, do you mind washing up a bit first? We have a bathroom on the second floor."

Nodding softly feeling relived that she put on a tunic of some sort to cover up her body, Because the whole time he was staring at her lovely chest and torso. Walking along with her to the outside of the house feeling the heat hitting him like a brick,"By the gods" He said rubbing his forehead.

"No uh seriously! I ca-" Fasuto was stopped rudely with an electric shock. He was met with a mean eye coming from Ennave.

"Just take it!" Ennave exclaimed in a whispered shout.

"Ennave, come on.."

"Who doesn't want freebies? You outta your head?" Ennave huffed in annoyance.

Fasuto sighed. "We can live on our own, y'know." Fasuto pushed it.

"That's it. I'm outta here." Ennave used the 'I'm outta here' tactic. Fasuto frowned.

"Hey wait, come one Ennave. It's unfair." Fasuto whispered.

"Fasuto, they're willing to give it. Take it man. It shows.. uh.. respect." Ennave said with a pat to the shoulder. The pat felt like a wind's mild touch.

"You do the talking." Fasuto offered an agreement.

Now Ennave doesn't want to talk to anybody unless it's Fasuto she's talking to. She sighed as she said: "Deal."
