@TheWindel I'm sure you've seen it happen - a roleplay still full of life drop dead. It isn't hard to imagine this following the same fate, unfortunately.
However, it isn't just the teams that are affecting this; though the do still play a key factor. My main qualm is the fact that - other than giving characters that might not speak again some interaction - it feels as though the collabs people wrote, myself especially, were made null and void.
The whole point of them was to choose teams, and then let team members have interactions, no? Then what was the point in writing them if over half the characters that interacted might not interact again? Unless you plan things that let characters interact in ways of relevance, it just feels like effort wasted when it could have been spent on something relevant.
We were even auto-failed on the test, even though it was even said in the IC that we had another hour left before the test would finish. Only to be then given a choice? I'm sorry, I just don't see how it all fits together.
As for it crossing the line into death... Even a single journey can result in a roleplays death, even with this many players and the seemingly devoted GMs.
But there is one last thing that is bugging me now, and that's you saying my opinion is ignorant. Now, I get that you are trying to end this, but isn't that just attack on person speech (as I write this last part, it's sounding more stupid). I could very easily say that your response is ignorant, because you can't see the lingering effects - but I'm not trying to attack anyone, here.
Now, now, Ash. I am far from accustomed to larger roleplays. The posting in Liseranna scared me, to be perfectly honest - and so I'm trying to avoid that if at all possible. Though, this is still technically a revival (I class it as a revival if the Roleplay is continued in a slightly forceful way, normally using a time skip, after a period of interest loss of inactivity).
Now, I'm going to go do something and think on my next cause of action. Ending this here would be the best course, however I suppose you will have something to say in continuation.
