In an instant, he surrounded himself and Kumi in a black space filled with millions of glowing chains. "These chains... all of these are Fates that belongs to people, including yours. Here, I'll show you.", Necrox said, as he summoned an orange chain out of nowhere. He threw it to Kumi, since it belonged to her. Suddenly, an image of a man walking normally in the outside world appeared. Necrox held a chain in his hand. "Keep looking at it. Look what will happen when I break this chain.", he said. He shattered the chain by pressing it with his hand. The man stopped walking, and fell on the ground. "... He's dead.", he said that like if it was normal.

"And I killed him?" Kumi asked, although she didn't recognize him and would never kill someone. If she had... well, she would probably quit her life's passion and let Squii go.

"No, you didn't and you'll never be able to.", Necrox said, rebuilding the chain, letting the man live again. "Fates are another way to maintain a person's life. Bigger, powerful Fates like yours can't be destroyed easily, but I'm worried. Kumi, I may look like a real jerk or something, but people who has their special power shall not die so easily. I'll take us out of this place and back to the other world.", he said, taking both of them back. Necrox extended his hand to her, being true to his heart. "With your permission, may I have the honor of looking after your Chain of Fate?", he asked her. Praeminister, surprised, quickly intervened. "With all respect, Prince Necrox, but what will benefit you in this deal? She does not trust you at all, and after that you did...", Praeminister tried to stop Necrox. "Shut your mouth, Prae. I know what I'm doing", he answered.

"I don't know what it will do, but fine." Kumi replied. She smiled at Squii. He had changed her mind about this guy. Kumi didn't trust him, but she couldn't see why she couldn't let him see this "fate chain".

"Bye." she snorted, walking away with Squii towards the horizon. "Man, that guy was weird..." Kumi muttered.

"Prince, I believe she does not has belief in your words.", Praeminister said. Necrok knew that she wouldn't believe him at all, but he decided to keep an eye out for Kumi. "Whatever. Even if she did believed, why would it matter? It's just that her power can't get out of control.", he explained. "Your Highness, I have to admit that it was surprising of your part to offer your help to her. Other than your brother, you would not protect anyone.", Praeminister said. He was expecting that Necrox would got angry. "... Haha. True there, Prae.", Necrox laughed.

"So what are we supposed to do now?" Kumi asked Squii. She knew her little monster didn't want to upset the new guy or whatever, but at the same time, what else were they supposed to do? Squii looked up at Kumi and said, "Think!" So the two sat on a park bench in silence, thinking about Necrox, their powers, their future, and other things.

"Prince Necrox, there is a time disturbance near here!", Praeminister said, nervous. Time disturbances... one of the enemies for every Time Traveler. "Lucky day. Who knows, maybe I'm encountering a Time Eater.", Necrox said. Disturbances are created by Time Eaters, who can be possibly be fallen Time Travelers. "Let's go.", Necrox ordered.
