Name: Rozalia Éathliel
Sex: Female
Age: 23
Birth Sign: The Serpent – She dislikes this Sign, as she’s never found it all that useful. Relying on poisons seems cowardly, so it’s rare for her to use the magic involved with it.
Appearance:
Being a Breton, Rozalia does not stand tall – at an unassuming height of 5’4, with a slim hourglass figure, medium sized breasts, and a narrow waist, she doesn’t appear to be all that strong or intimidating from a distance. But as one gets closer, the toned muscles of her arms and legs become more obvious, brought on by years of climbing and running on a daily basis. Her narrow, heart-shaped face, although no doubt a comely one, looks older than her years; brought on by hard living and a knack for getting into trouble, her eyes hold a steeliness about them that adds years.
But when she smiles, the age falls away and her youthful beauty truly shines through – a pretty dimpled smile, all the more accentuated by her high cheekbones, and light blue eyes rimmed with a golden hazel that truly shine brightly when good times come about. Her nose is a small one, with a decent slope to it that shows she’s never had it broken in a fight. In fact, despite signs of stress and weathering, her face remains mostly unmarred. Delicate eyebrows: pink, plump lips, and eyelashes long and dark enough to make a Princess seethe with jealousy.
However, her body has not such an unmarred exterior - several claw marks, in groups of three and four, have left pale ridges in her skin on the top of her arms and back. Not as unseemly as some poor folk’s scars, but undoubtedly noticeable. Further minor scars pepper her body from past scuffles; an arrow mark here, a sword slash there... but the most noticeable would be the bite marks. Obviously from a humanoid creature, several mark her arms, legs and neck, at the points where the blood flows most freely. She prefers to cover these up with either war paint or clothing, as she prefers not to talk about them, nor the story of how they came to be there.
Personality:
Generally an easy-going and humorous girl; despite a less than easy life, Roze prefers to keep a light mind about things. It tends to make life easier, she's found. As such, she can be quick to build a rapport with others, or to make jokes; the more a situation deteriorates, and the more nervous she gets, the more jokes come from her mouth.
On the other hand, she has a fierce temper. Although not easily broken, the few times she has lost it has left people dead - and she was well within their rights to kill them, but it was done in a slightly more... frenzied manner than she is used to. From this temper lives a fierce protectiveness over things she cares about deeply, although she has become used to not sharing this type of bond with anything these days. After so many years of loss, she'd rather not become emotionally invested in someone, as it will lead to a grieving of death afterwards. As such, she lives a nomadic lifestyle - never staying with the same people for a long amount of time, and constantly traversing the countryside. Because a long travelling companion means emotions are bound to come into it once more.
If one is to become her friend, her jokes become less, and her naturally friendly and companionable side is shown; not making quips for the sake of breaking the silence, but rather enjoying once another's company.
She also has a very large reckless and rebellious streak - more often than not she will storm into danger, simply to see what happens on the other side. One could consider this to be a foolish attribute for a thief, but it’s never failed her yet. In fact, some of her best heists have been in situations like this... simply because she trusts herself to know how to get out of any trouble she finds herself in.
