It is for sure that I will not do anything of this sort again. I half-expected outrage, but on the other half I also expected participation from the community. So I decided to gamble on my luck and cast this RP proposal.

While I'm sorry to have given more than just a handful of users tonight heartache and headache, it is kind of refreshing to see the Interest Check section have a burst of activity, even if it's misguided. I'd been skimming both the Casual and Advanced sections for anything good to join in, but there weren't any. It's been long since I've practiced narrative writing to this extent so I really wanted to participate in something - but for some reason my first thoughts were about the 2nd Sino-Japanese War and, well, things took their on course from there.

Again, guys, if I caused you any trouble, sorry. I hope I haven't ruined your day.

There is no excuse for willful ignorance. Not everyone gets to choose what they do and do not learn, or what is and isn't part of their upbringing.
