@Fabulous Knight Sounds good with me :) So will your nation be torn in civil war?

@Natsucooldude In that case, our nations disagreements and tense relations will be more then enough. And maybe a dash of what Knight suggested :)

Edit: Also to note, I changed my location.

Still working on my NS. I'm assuming that all races/factions/states/important characters would rely on the services of the Sin Stars. Otherwise, I don't see much opportunity for roleplay.

@Polybius Pretty sure the Sin Stars will have their uses. Even provide as shady, but neutral meeting places and such.

I look forward to religious tension creating political crises. After all, such things are what makes or break the future of nations.

speaking purely from the qulseoc's point of view... Very liberal ideas about things like narcotics and casual sex means they will likely not really mind the presence of the more benign sin stars at all. I would see them taking exception to the more overtly depraved though.

The sun stars would be strange, very strange indeed to the Abyssal Domains.

The Abyssal domains has immigration to other factions in the purpose of finding work where they precieve a deficiency in work. Mind you, Abyssals precieve work as a end of itself instead of as a means to an end. This is something to take into account when considering their belief system being based around reincarnation to countinue the endless task of life. Their mindset no doubt will clash hard with factions more used to caste divisions or ranking based on intellect instead of how hard of a worker you are. They have quite a bit of contempt for leaders they view as lazy to say the least, though they really just have contempt for emperors/autocrats in general because it is foolish to ever let one individual have that much power ever to them.

@Fabulous Knight Question, how fierce are these divisions between the Kurtiye factions? All out war? Or something more subtle and less explosive? If the former, what would you say Jalaryians sending troops to support the Ascendant Faction?

@SigmaIt's subtle. They're in the stage of communication with each other, but they disagree -- and they always bring lots of soldiers with them. They both see each other as the enemy, just not the enemy. But now the enemy is dead...

Sending troops would still be a good idea. It helps you control the outcome of the knife-fight. And it will become a knife-fight.

Sounds good, the Jalaryian "Ambassadorial" Corps will be of good use for the Ascendant Kurtiye :P

My philosophical opponent? expanding their powerbase unopposed? unacceptable! The bureau for assimilation and uplifting of foreign cultures will send a probationary task force shortly.

Posting what I have for now because of...well lack of sleep. The Sin Star sort of turned into....a micro setting of it's own. I will have the power-brokers ( and then the main RP characters) in place soon enough.

@Polybius Thinking about it, how far does the Sin Stars' influence extend? Like say, do they have a hand in the underworlds and such of most of the major factions?

That's up to everyone else. I don't want to pre-suppose anything. I am imagining the sinstar as a second rate power with hands in many pots and the potential for expanding influence.

Sounds good, I'm thinking they could have some influence in the underworld of the Ascendancy :)

Provides some good story potential.

@CrystalApple Pretty much, more players are indeed welcome.

And Nation Rps become quite simple. They're sorta like your average rp, but on a wider scale. You having a large cast of characters that live within your nation to play as.
