Of course Juliet was fast asleep even after being set down and left there, curling into a ball against the blanket. Back with the two boys when they went to the left path it led down to another turn to the left, splitting into two more paths for later. When going back and turning to the right path, the recognizable orange and yellow figure was there struggling with a chip bag. It looked up with a tilted head for a few moments. The creature just stared in silence before raising up the chip bag and shaking it at them, as if offering to give it to them. It was a similar bag to the other ones in the basket, looking quite new as well even with the wrinkles from the thing's attempts. The orange and yellow figure just stayed in its crouched position, shaking the bag every few seconds, waiting for them to react. Something was glimmering near its foot but couldn't be seen at that the pair's angle.

Will sighed when the left path didn't yield anything more than more diverging paths. Might as well go back. He then looked at Mason and smiled gratefully at him when he told him to rest for a bit to where Juliet was. Will then sat down beside the slumbering girl, looking up. Quite disappointed that there wasn't much he could see. There was no sun. He really did want to get out of here as quickly as possible. He then looked to where Mason had gone to, to the right path, when he heard him shout about something.

The blond sprung to action, grabbing his axe and then heading for Mason's position. There, stood an orange and yellow figure with a... a chip bag? It seems like it couldn't open it. Then it turned to them and began shaking it, as if offering it to them. "Well, might as well. Mason, wish me luck." He said then began walking towards the figure. His right hand loosely gripped his axe as he proceeded to walk.

He then extended his left hand to take the bag. "Do you want me to open it for you or is it ours?" It didn't seem like it could speak but it might react.

Mason was already tensed up enough without Will trying to interact with the creature in front of them, but only prepared to swing when he got closer. "Will, what are you doing? I know you don't give half a damn sometimes but really? How do you know this...thing won't rip you into shreds?!" Mason said in a raised voice as he neared whatever this thing was, more than ready to swing at it. "If you know what you're doing then fine, but you can't expect us to save you everytime, this thing doesn't seem to have pockets to pick it seems, no offense." He was half joking in an attempt to lighten the situation in some way. "Whatever, just watch yourself."

The orange and yellow creature would quickly pull away its arm as it saw Mason, pressing up against one of the corners in the deadend. The chip bag was still tightly in its hand. The glimmering item that was at its feet was an open switchblade, but was in reach of both the boys and the monster. Now that it seemed like it was afraid, they weren't making any more progress of looking like they were going to attack it.

The light thump from the monster pressing into the corner echoed throughout the second pathway area, making Juliet rustle around then bolt upright. "What the he- Mason? Will?!" she quickly yelled out as her vision cleared. She was laying in some sort of campsite messily set up, a broken up basket of goodies not far from her. That made her feel a bit uneasy, recognizing the branded labels and that they were all unopened, but still thought that they were poisoned or rotten in some way. Julie shakily got up while holding herself, calling for them again. Did they just drop her off there and left her to escape? She yelled for them again while walking towards the path opening.

The orange and yellow monster looked up from the corner past the two boys, adjusting its grip around in the single hand it had. It seemed to recognize the voice.

Will sighed as the... lifeform backed away from him upon and seeing Mason and pressed itself against the wall. The blond glanced back at his friend who was obviously distressed about the fact that he was trying to interact with some object. "I think it's more scared of you than you are scared of it. So I want you to chill and let me handle this alright? I'm a thief remember? Thieves have built-in alarms so I know what I'm doing." He said, trying to calm Mason down. While the last part was more of just a lie, it was partially true anyway. Although he did snicker a bit when Mason mentioned that the thing didn't have any pockets to pick from. That much was true. He then turned back to the lifeform and then looked down and saw the switchblade. That should be useful. He could make a break for it and take it, but it could aggravate the lifeform.

His ears picked up on something, another voice. "Mason, I think Juliet's awake. It would be horrible if she went on ahead, can you check up on her? I'll yell when this thing tries to attack me." He could take care of himself anyway. He was more worried about Juliet to be honest.

After saying that, he stepped towards the lifeform slowly, as to not scare it away. While he couldn't throw the axe away, it didn't seem like he was about to lunge at it and try to hack it with the axe. So it shouldn't be scared, right? No more than he is at least.

"Well, if you're sure about it then fine, but if this thing even looks at us funny, I will bash its face in." he warned as he walked off and back over to Juliet, who was just waking up. "Morning sleepyhead" he joked as he sat down beside her, his right fist still gripped tightly around the chain, waiting for Will to scream or for that thing to spring out covered in his blood so he could break it's neck,. "Thought I couldn't carry you huh? Proved y'wrong" he remarked as his hand finally relaxed, clean indentations from the chain could be seen in his palm from a mile away after he opened it. Setting the Weapon down beside him.

The creature looked up like a scared puppy then nodded its head towards the knife, as if letting Will take it away. Then it slowly leaned forwards, setting the bag down in front of Will. Whichever he grabs for, the creature would be gone by then. It seemed to disappear or at least limp off into the maze, out of the first pathway and continuing to the others. A loud roar like a monster came from the direction of the diverging paths, but the sound couldn't be detected from the trails.

Juliet wouldn't acknowledge Mason until the sound died off, looking back to him and reversing what he said in her head to reply. "Hey, at least I know you you can carry me for our wedding, huh?" she teased while playfully punching his shoulder. Her eyes went over to the weapon with a quick smirk forming on her face. "I forgot you guys got some new stuff... So what did ya guys do while I was being Sleeping Beauty?"

Will nodded as Mason disappeared to go to Juliet. He then looked back at the creature and it set down the bag of chips. Will made a move to grab the switchblade first but the creature had limped away by then. He watched as the creature disappeared and then shrugged. Guess it wasn't hostile after all. After placing the switchblade in his pocket, he grabbed the bag of chips. The blonde rested the head of the axe on his shoulder and then walked back towards the two. There was a loud roar and Will looked around, but then shrugged and continued to walk.

"So I got a switchblade and a bag of chips, you guys want?" He asked, shaking the bag of chips in his left hand, mimicking the action the creature made before. A smirk formed in his mouth as he asked, "Oh, was I interrupting something?"

Mason simply laughed the joke off "Heh, yeah, maybe I'll carry you into the suns-OW" Mason reacted when she punched him in the shoulder, joking of course but trying to trick her." At this rate I might just reject your hand in marriage" he joked as he sat back up but then got serious when she asked about what they did. "Well, I almost beat the life out of a half severed monster before Will told me to come back over here and now I'm waiting for one of them to come bursting out of there so I can hit something." he said before looking at the marks on his hand which started to fade away. "Apparently he has an 'alarm' so he'll know when to run"

She laughed at his response then grabbed the sides of his face, squishing his cheeks playfully then leaning in, even with Will standing at the entrance of the pathway. "Sike!" Juliet said while smacking his head to face towards Will and pay attention to him instead. She smirked at Will asking about interrupting their "little moment" and mouthed to him, Maybeeee, as a response while Mason was distracted. "Pick Pocket over here survived that. OnY, what I called that thing that keeps following us around, seems to be helping us. His trail of pixels and items are everywhere, but for all I know he might betray us later. Or even did something with our weapons and food. Either way, at least we have somebody else with us! She shrugged then put her chin on Mason's closest shoulder, moving her eyebrows up and down.

"Mason, please don't hit me. I know you want to use that weapon and everything but don't try it on poor 'ol me." Will said as he raised his hands. He nodded back at Juliet to let her know that he caught what she said. "I don't really care if it's helping us or not. As long as it doesn't attack, I'm cool with it." And Juliet was right, at least there's someone else besides them in this maze. Pixelized or not, it was still alive... he thinks... maybe... hopefully.

However, he was curious if the chips were actually edible. He looked at the bag of chips in his left hand before opening it and then inspecting the chips inside.

Mason nearly jumped up when Juliet grabbed him by the cheeks Um, Julie- what're you- oh...NO NO N- he thanked jesus when she turned out to be joking, Never do that ag-OW he was cut off as he was smacked away, then came Will. "Am I interrupting" SHUT UP WILL! he screamed in a flustered fit before going into turtle shell mode before Juliet put her chin on his shoulder and wiggled her eyebrows, which he didn't seem to notice. But when Will begged for mercy, Mason stood up and mad ehis way over to will prepared to knock him down where he stood WILL I SWEAR TO GOD!

Juliet laughed at his reaction then quickly frowned when he got up, and threatened to do... something to Will. She was still on the blanket so this gave her a small advantage, grabbing Mason's legs and knocking him over onto his back. Any impact would make someone dazed and winded. It gave the girl time to climb onto his body and just lay on top of him like a body pillow. She made a thumbs up to Will like "I got this" then casually rested her head on Mason's chest like this was normal. She didn't fall asleep but at least rested so her weight was shifted more on Mason, weighing him down. "You're like a cuddly bear that easily freaked out," she teased with a devilish grin.

Ah~ Teasing Mason might just become his favorite past time next to picking pockets. Even as he threw his fitful rage, he still smiled. As an athletic kid, he was confident that he could hold his own against Mason. However, it seems Juliet has already made her move, tripping Mason and then lying down on the guy. He nodded appreciatively at Juliet with a grin. He then sat down, setting the axe on his lap and then began munching the chips with reckless abandon. It shouldn't be too bad right? Hopefully it wasn't poisoned. For some reason, he highly doubted it. He then happily watched the two, all the while keeping himself alert to whatever was happening around them. The last thing he wanted was something creeping up on them without him noticing.

WILL I SWEAR TO GOD I AM GON- Mason was cut off as he was knocked onto his back REALLY?! he said before Juliet...crawled on top of him? Julie...could you NOT? Was all he said before she called him a cuddly bear. All the blood in him rushed to his face NO I'M NOT! GET OFF OF ME!!! DAMMIT JULIE I CAN'T STAND YOU SOMETIMES. Mason demanded before trying to squirm free of her, but failed horribly no matter how hard he struggled. Oh whatever he murmured as he stuffed his face back into his hood and gave up trying to break free...

The girl simply listened on to him yelling at her, making a small yawn then using her foot to navigate a bag of chips to her. She opened it up with her free hand - her other hand teasing Mason by lightly caressing his face under his hood - and nibbled a small chip while looking around the area. There was no evidence that monsters were coming to the path, but the roar of the seemingly large beast occasionally echoed through the maze. It was definitely from one of the two paths at the third trail, but fortunately wasn't getting any closer... nor farther.

Juliet didn't make any commentary to it other than looking towards Will who seemed to be keeping watch. She looked back up to the flustered Mason, placing a chip that was able to balance on the tip of his nose. Julie smirked as she watched it wave back and forth like a ticking clock.

Will shrugged before laying on his back, hands behind his head, right hand still reaching into the chips and feeding it to him. While he was enjoying the display before him, he was actually frowning. He his this fact from his friends and considering that they can't see his face from their vantage point, it was pretty easy. The roar still greatly unnerved him. He really wanted to get out as fast as he can. However, they could use the rest. To calm down in this horrible situation. It wasn't long until he sat up again, waiting for the others' decision.

Dammit Julie get off of me... he spoke in an even but angry tone for her to get off of him as this was starting to properly annoy him. Now. His voice was low but you could tell it was angry, it wasn't even a yell, just a simple but angry notion. He than tried to shake Juliet off of him after taking his hood off of his face, causing the chip to fall off of his nose. Please? he begged for her to get off of him. This is starting to hurt you know...

"Psh, you kinda deserve this in my view, but whatever..." Juliet grumbled while rolling off him, going back onto the blanket. She didn't want to hurt him - except maybe mentally - because of the things that could come up in the weird, digital maze that they have to go through. They would've gotten weapons for a reason, right? And that roar in the distance must be hinting something. Were they going to have to fight something so early into the maze? Was that why they were prepared with supplies and a resting spot right before that source in the next diverging paths? The questions in the girl's head just multiplied but she quickly shut them off as she looked over to Will. "You two should be sleeping instead. I already passed out after all. I might as well watch over and just wake you guys up if something happens, alright?" she suggested while fiddling with her bag of chips, switching back and forth between eating one then balancing the next on Mason's nose, including the one that fell off.

Will moved to the side to lean on the building. Although he is closer to the path's entrance than the other two, he seemed quite fine with it. He then smiled at Juliet, "I think I'll take you up on that offer." He then looked unsurely at the entrance, narrowing his eyes at it. The monster might go after them or something while they were sleeping. "I'm a light sleeper anyway..." He muttered, as if trying to reassure himself. He practically hugged the axe close to him, not because of paranoia but because he was used to sleeping while holding something, and then closed his eyes. Only a few moments later, he was fast asleep. It was probably because he was tired both physically and mentally.
