@Sionnie Their appearance is entirely up to you. That is the canon appearance for them and 'canon' doesn't really matter in D&D (other than their heritage, that is).

Tieflings also have an extra point of intelligence, and are more fireproof then other people, and have a few minor spells known to them. At least that's what the book says.

@Sionnie I think you were trying to ask what Class is best for Tieflings? Tieflings are known to be good Warlocks (thanks to their Primary Stat, Charisma). They are also proficient Bards (which is mostly a support class) and thieves/rogues.

Tieflings in the Fifth Edition are fire resistant. They take half damage from Fire-based attacks.

what about rogues? I absolutely love rogues!! what would be the best stats to build a rogue based on crippling, blinding, bleeding, and stunning the mobs..

@Sionnie All of the said features of a Tiefling is inherited as part of their race. Being a rogue means you still get all of those benefits.

The primary stats of a rogue are DEX and CHA. Although I'd say never neglect CON as that determines how much HP you have. Status effects like you mentioned are all dependent on what abilities you have at your disposal (in otherwords, you may not be able to do it in combat).

Alright.. do you know night crawler from the x men? I was wandering if i could have a similar effect as his teleporting due to my demon heritage?

There is an ability that you can use if you choose to be an Arcane Thief called 'Misty Step'. It basically functions like a limited teleportation.

i am at the part where a put in my stats so how many do i get? and how should i distribute them?

@Sionnie Did you use 3d6 or 4d6? 3d6 results in a max stat of 16. 4d6 results in a max stat of 18.
