I can kind of understand it. When you find what works there isn't much incentive to not do it, and once you get committied to that you lose respect for what it once was. Basically it becomes SAO, but SAO didn't even sell out after success, it was born as such.

Her magecraft's not suitable for a Workshop, but that means less "it'll take forever to make" and more "it won't be very good".

What makes it worse though, is that you're trying to make it on a boat, and Workshops aren't mobile. So you're not gonna make it.

Tbf to me tho I mentioned the hacking in his bio. It was also mentioned in the part explaining where he got the $50k listed in his equipment section. I'll get rid of the satellite bit and just say he bought a larger antenna to boost his signal, but the hacking and mechanical stuff is part of his skillset, as established in his bio.

If it's not mentioned as a skill in the section that's explicitly for the listing of skills, then I have to assume the ability for it is nothing special for what a normal person I pick off of the street can do. Stating "he did programming and some hacking" in one line of the bio isn't enough to merit anything special.

No retconning either. Your initial post still stands, Wes is just grossly overestimating his abilities.

Granting the boat-steering thing on top of everything else was enough. Take what you've been given and don't keep toeing the line.
