@StekkmenIt's funny, I made the call "Strike Force, Flash Forward!" I even originally wanted it to have a "ha!" at the end but my character really wouldn't want to have to shout that.

He's not the conventional ranger, he prefers to transform in private before going on sight so his identity can remain a secret and he can freely move around the city for things like recon and such. His methods aren't very noble or righteous and he finds the idea of honor before reason to be lunacy. His special weapon will probably be a sniper rifle or a combat knife.

He'll make quite the interesting Blue Ranger, don't you agree?

@ProProI'm glad I'm doing okay, I wasn't sure if I was being detailed enough. I'm about one paragraph away from finishing I think, just need to give him that spark of rebellion that will give him a later motivation to accept his part as the Blue Ranger. Oh, should that be included? Are we starting as rangers?

@StekkmenYou forgot to list your morpher in your equipment, that's the most important thing to have.

morpher section

The photon morphers are bound by the wrist, and channel the power of light and solar energy to function. The basic design is in the shape of a rectangular box, with what appears to be a small solar panel fashioned around the outer layer (this is, in actuality, a highly advanced energy collector made from the people of Rigel IV). Situated on the face right in the center is a translucent, spherical gem (the photon resonator) which channels the energy collected by the morpher. Finally, a small black panel sits center of the front, outward from the wrist. It’s from here that the magic happens, and the magic words are, “Strike Force, flash forward!”

Once the morphing call has been made, the photon morpher roars to life, brightening in a blinding light, which is focused through the photon resonator gem, and the energy is poured forth from the panel on front, a high-tech light emitter. The ranger form solidifies from a hard light hologram emitted by the morpher, then wraps around the ranger, completing the transformation!

“Striker Red engaged! Power Rangers Strike Force!” Cue dramatic back explosion.

...I forgot to do that example thing. Crap.

But i'm confused on this whole "morpher" thing.

What...does it do? A section isn't in the CS, and all the OP says is that it "completes the transformation". Transform into what? I just kinda figure it's like a super armor or something. Or do we morph into...an animal? Or is it like a mech suit made of hard light?

@Stekkmen I'll read it in more depth when I have the time. Initial eye balling tells me that it's looking pretty good. That said, your equipment is missing your morpher, and you seem to have missed the way that the primary weapons work. They're emitted directly from a projector on the suit's wrist. Otherwise things are looking pretty decent.

Edit: You... DO know what a morpher is in Power Rangers, right? It's the device that transforms you into ranger form? The full suit and weapons?

Also, Green gets the holographic projector? Man, I asked that for blue. I kind of wanna switch to green now, is that still an option?

I just joined this because it looked good. I never really watched the show, I just know about it. This didn't really look like I needed to know much about Power Ranger lore to get into it.

If the morpher just turns us into our suits, why do we need a section on it? To describe what our face looks like. Duh. But if we need one why isn't there a section on it?

Yeah, I misunderstood hard-light. I was thinking we couldn't hold on to it, too hot or something. Like the bridges from Portal 2. But if it literally can transform into metal and blade both, then I'll edit that.

I love blue, I love what it means to be the blue ranger, love the color and I even like the super sight....

But I really want that projector and green has that, plus I think it'll be totally hilarious to be the complete opposite of the comic-relief that is green ranger most of the time...

But someone already said they wanted to be green!!

....maybe I'll flip a coin..

How bout we make our characters and let Pro decide? I honestly feel my character would do better with greens power than with blues but I'll let you decide.(I hate typing with my phone so sorry for any bad grammar in this post thing)

Does slave labor consist mostly of 'working in mines' or is there a 'corporate hell' aspect to it? Can my character be an accountant/secretary/nonspecific white collar worker?

That was already the rule.

You're forgetting we have to write a sample of our gameplay, so we still have to decide what we're going for even if we're not making the final decision.

I think I'll just make two samples showcasing how I'd use blue and how I'd use green respectively.
