Spirit Guardians: The Call of A Butterfly

@Obscene Symphony If I'm understanding it correctly, it'd be something like a Deadpool-type of character? He battles villains, but really has no real morals to speak. Not the clean-cut hero, but not a villain either type of thing? If that's the case, then I have no problem with such a character. I think it'd be a good way to spice things up. Where's all the fun if we're all goody-two-shoes, getting along, holding hands, doing sing-alongs? :)

@Obscene SymphonyWell... I can't say you will be the only one, but you definitely are the first to express an interest for it.

You should probably know that if you're looking to use that decay though, there are only two spots for it. Soooo.... If that's what you're looking for i can make note of it and save a spot

@Obscene SymphonyNo list, i did make note of it though at the bottom (i believe) of the "magic by colors". For anybody who wishes to use decaying or healing magic, those are the only two magics i will limit to 2 users. That makes them more of a rarity and more valuable so we don't have 10 guardians running around healing themselves/others or 10 guardians walking around rotting everything around them

Also, to bombard you with more questions, I intend on making my guardian's form a yokai called an Enenra. It's a being made of smoke. Think I could keep some of the Enenra elements (living in fires, being able to travel between flames and dissipate like smoke through the air and in tight spaces)? Also, is the guardian a tangible being at all, or an ethereal phantom-thing that can float through walls and whatnot?

Just one question for you guys: Since there currently isn't much on the thread about this history of the facility (also, our characters can come from all parts of the world), should i have a "bio" section and i'll answer any questions you guys might have or should we leave it all a mystery and start as newbies at the facility?

I think I'd like my character to be new, but I also think it could be interesting if there were characters that had already been there. And I was also wondering more about this facility. I couldn't quite tell if it was 'bad' or on the side of good.

1)Hmm... Living in fire...Well, idk who I am to tell you guys what your guardians do when they're not floating around as beautiful butterflies o.o Just to make a suggestion though, if (from what I know) you're going for the whole darkness & decay deal, wouldn't it make more sense if they travel between the shadows? Otherwise, I really have no issue with it

2)Just to keep with the whole "spirit" ghost thing" idea, I wanna say they are ethereal-phantom things...but... I don't want to contradict myself and make the "evil spirits" tangible beings because the humans will pretty much be the vessel to be able to use the abilites. You really put me in a sticky situation! xD How about we say they can be both? haha

maybe its a racial type thing...so like a shadow being can go through things but a 'regular' one would have to follow their human around and wait for doors to be opened and such?

@RaeoftheLightHmm... I can see where it would be nice to have a mix of newbies and vets, but at the same time if I allow vets they will naturally have to start off more powerful. Idk where I stand with that. I guess if nobody minds then we'll fly with it.

As for the facility, what more do you want to know than they're alignment?

Up to you, but my character will be a newbie. And if my character is a newbie, then I am fine discovering the facility along with her! I don't think I need any other sort of clarification on the facility, unless you can think of anything pertinent.

I've just had another change of heart, now that I think about it. I can see many questions popping up like this, in the near future. SO! I will go back to what I was originally thinking and give them tangibility with a phasing ability. Besides, with a little more thought, it'd be less reckless if guardians didn't have to bust through walls to get to their partner (should they be cut off) and more fair.

Though this did just give me an idea for something in the future... Introducing the spirit realm, where they actually wouldn't be able to phase through walls... and, and, and.... and maybe even a labyrinth in said spirit world where guardians and partners get cut off from each other... ooOOOooooh!
