he still can be, if you want him to :) It's just in some cases, should they be seperated, it'd be easier to find your partner without doors mysteriously opening (to the normal eye)

Also, I had the cs written down on paper. I just felt like I should answer all the questions before typing it. I will get to it now! xD

I've just had another change of heart, now that I think about it. I can see many questions popping up like this, in the near future. SO! I will go back to what I was originally thinking and give them tangibility with a phasing ability. Besides, with a little more thought, it'd be less reckless if guardians didn't have to bust through walls to get to their partner (should they be cut off) and more fair.

Though this did just give me an idea for something in the future... Introducing the spirit realm, where they actually wouldn't be able to phase through walls... and, and, and.... and maybe even a labyrinth in said spirit world where guardians and partners get cut off from each other... ooOOOooooh!

Personality: stand offish, but that wall can be broken down. Really his past is what shaped him the way he is...and thats slightly hard to get around.
Other:He is helpful to those he cares for...which isn't a whole lot of people.

Appearance: Large monarch with the usually black parts being a deep purple. Fuzzy body is purple, and the usually orange parts are a deep red. Eyes are icy blue

-illusion (55 on a 100 scale)
can create almost real feeling illusions. If defending or angry this can be terrifying. The individual might 'feel' things happening to them that aren't really happening...this can make the individual go insane.
Downside is the more extreme the illusion the more concentration it requires...which leaves him vulnerable. Large general illusions are easier but easier to see through.
He will start with less 'real' and work his way up.
-fire (45 on a 100 scale)
can create and control fire to a point. Once its there he can't exactly just get rid of it...it has to go somewhere.
he will get better at it...just right now he's likely to injure someone with it more then help....which could be good or bad depending on how you look at that >.>
Personality: Clueless, but ready to defend his person (he's like a cute little alien)
other: he weighs 20 pounds and can actually get terrifying if pushed.
Its like ooo and ahhh then oh god teeth in the face and is that fire?!

@Traitor I would find it hard to believe, as all that info is readily available, that one would find their guardian to be "haunting" them. Also if your character thought that their guardian was haunting them, wouldn't they be reluctant to enter a soul link? Without the soul link it'd basically render the character and guardian useless. Other than that, I'm not really sure how else to answer the question :/ I hope this made sense.

First of all, thank you for addressing my questions. Of course you have a point, but what if the character decides that the guadians explanations are not satisfactory, or that they don't want this kind of supernatural crap in their life? Would the guardian have the power to force them into the soul link? I'm not quite sure what exactly the guardians get out of "bonding" with a human yet, so this entire idea might be completely worthless. But the idea of an "unwilling" soul link partner appeals to me, which is why I'm asking.

...also, I feel like an ass for asking, but about that decay/healing magic thing. Yeah you're right, they're the most appealing options (to me at least). I would really like to sign up for one of those decay slots, if there's still one open. I saw that at least one is "taken", but only skimmed through the fourty billion messages...

If decay is not available anymore, the following question is relevant, otherwise feel free to ignore it:
Is it possible to "twist" restorative magic into something harmful? I'm thinking of forcefully causing tissue to grow that damages or disables the body of the afflicted in some way.

@Traitor If it becomes the only way for you to get healing I'm more than willing to make Kalandria full on wind/air, I only took it because I have played a healer before.
