Zootopia Chronicles Part One: Walk Softly, Stranger.
Zootopia is a massive modern day city that covers 602.55 Square Miles; it is home to more than 4 Million citizens that cover a wide variety of species. The city holds a number of 8 unique ecosystems for each species that lives within the city limits. These Ecosystems are the Forest, Jungle, Desert, Grassland, Mountain, Artic, Aquatic, and of course Zootope. The last Ecosystem on the list called Zootope takes up most of the city’s ground, while the others are roughly the same size. This is due to the fact that species from all other ecosystems can take residence there and coexist with little to no trouble from prey or predator.
Most of the city’s features can be found inside of the Zootope ecosystem, including but not limited to the industrial, commercial, residential, and recreational areas. Inside the city can be found a great wealth of all things any living creature might possibly desire. Airports, museums, Colleges, Universities, famous landmarks, huge malls, historical locations, concert venues, theme parks, well known places to eat, theaters, resorts, places to live and many other areas of interest fill the lands for all to enjoy.
Zootopia has been called the city of dreams, the city of angels, and the city of opportunity. There are many nicknames for it, but for those who have lived there the longest, they call it home.
Like all other City’s there is always something going on behind the scenes to make sure the city runs smoothly, safely, and very well so that chaos and riots are not unleashed upon all those that live there.
It is no different here in Zootopia, and Mayor Mosley runs the great city with fangs of steel, a heart of Iron, and great care for each and every person inside of his City. Things seem perfect from the outside, but they are far from that. Fear, Crime, Corruption, Greed, Inequality, Violence and more are hidden behind a silver curtain, stained in crimson.
To protect its citizens from all of those cruelties and other growing concerns, Zootopia has retrained their whole Police Force including cadets to handle the new threats within the city with great precision and skill. Trained like SWAT and given courses in investigation alongside general training, these new Police Officers have been slowly but aggressively cutting back on all crime inside of the city.
While they were distracted, something moved into place and laid a full deck out upon the table and was now moving its cards against them. Alongside random acts of violence, People started to vanish from the city at all times of the day, be it morning, afternoon, or night. Both predators and prey were falling victim, oddly enough there was a small case file with few leads to follow. It was as if the Government officials had little to no interest on the subject and merely were sweeping it under the rug, expecting it to pass in time or perhaps there was an ulterior motive at play.
The word about the vanishings was not officially announced to the public in fear of creating a riot or heavy amounts of civil unrest. Having the city angry and upset at the Officers who seemingly failed to do their job would only end badly for everyone involved.
Alongside the vanishing, some predators were in fact going savage, attacking anyone and everyone near them, regardless if they were friends or family only moments before. This case, was also sealed and held from the public as much as it could be, though having a panther drop what he was doing and start attacking everyone around him was difficult to hide, even more so from the news who had a thirst for stories like that.
The Zootopia Law Enforcement was way in over its head as the unknown force continued to ruthlessly move against the city. No one knew exactly what was going on, but there were a lot of conversations behind held behind closed and locked doors.
A group of newly trained arrivals (All of us) would be arriving at the Police Station in a couple of hours to receive their final part of training, which meant joining real officers while they went around the town with their numerous assignments. The Cadets had a great amount of promise and showed that they were the next generation of Officers for Zootopia, but would they be up to the tasks that were currently being forced into the Law Enforcements face? Only time would tell, and hopefully no blood would be spilled in the meantime.

OOC: Hello everyone! Thanks for taking the time to read over all of this. My apologies at how much there is to a simple interest check but I had a lot of information I wanted to get written down.
I will have the real application / Character sheet made and posted in the main thread if this RP gets enough interest. Don’t worry! The questions will match exactly what it says above. Once you have filled it out, I will approve it or ask you to change one or two things to make it fit in better if there is something wrong. If I like what I see, I will ask you to post it in the Character sheet tab for the RP.
I can promise that I have a plethora of ideas laid out and ready to go once we get the story running. Not all of the RP will be action and suspense though, there will of course be other things going on outside of the police station, like normal police activity and even R&R at times.
Would any of you be interested in joining this RP? Feel free to ask any questions that any of you might have. At the start, I will be accepting 6 players (Not including myself and my Co-GM:@Tracyarmav) As the RP moves on, I will open up a couple more slots for more players to join.
