Scarlet A.K.A. Allison Carver
Scarlet had woken up early. She practically always ran on a small number of hours to sleep. Being on the run and constantly fighting back taught her that she could get by with little sleep. She decided that since she didn't have to go by her usual morning routine of packing up and relocating, she might as well work on extending the use of her telepathy. Her most powerful strength and she could barely use it. She didn't have much chance to train it and her other abilities really just happened.
Best way she found to train her telepathy was kick it into overdrive. Let the invisible tentacles of her mind reach out and search at their own desire. She became more of a world wide web of the minds around her rather than a person in control. She had no idea what information came in she just knew none of it was going out. Still the fact that she didn't know what she was absorbing meant she had lost control. It took a long time of practice with Raptor to keep from flooding others with what was in her brain, but they had succeeded on that point. But now that he was gone she didn't believe she could ever get full control of her power. All of a sudden seconds starting to feel like hours. Minutes felt like days. A whole hour felt like a month. All of this because she was living each second of those in her range now.
Luckily before she went to far into the rabbit hole, a message went over the sound system to meet up in the lounge. It broke her out of her self-induced trance. She walked out of her 'room' and followed a few others. She really had no clue where anything was. Before the meeting started she walked over to the person in charge and said, "Hi. I'm Allison. Sorry for being late to show up."
She stood towards the back and listened in on the meeting. Great matching suits. Isn't this suppose to be a superhero team not a fashion show. Also team-ups? No. She already had the best partner she could have had and she had no idea where he was, but she knew she would not replace him. Then something funny happened. Another woman came in and switched places with the first. It was the one called Wicked. That wasn't the funny part though. What was funny was that an older guy who should have been some sort of figure to lookup to for the younger ones started complaining about how his stuff had been messed with. Then he just started to leave the room. Well that's definitely the best way to solve an issue. Ha NOT! "Ha. Seems as if we have a child in the body of a twenty something year old. Seriously though if she burned your stuff means you did something to deserve it. Also funny how you say she's lucky when pretty sure you know nothing about her. You probably got off easy for what you did." Really Allison had no real idea of Wicked either other than a little bit about her personality from the various minds in the facility she could access. Powerful and deadly were the overarching ideas she got. This guy was in for a rude awakening if he kept pushing his boundaries around people with powers. Same went for all of the others in this 'team' who thought they were all that. No way would this work for long unless they got it through the peoples thick skulls that they couldn't do everything on their own.
"You know what. Keep pouting about trivial things. I don't care. I'm gonna go practice." She said as she phased through Mike. "Heh. Nice abs, kid."
