Retro's words flow from her sounding as if Shiver's first language is her own complete down to her accent.

Her clothing is top shelf and the latest fashion, her hair, makeup and her own style. Her mannerisms display a privilaged upbringing and her personality a chameleon's ability to blend in where she is.

Her connections through the War Child Foundation are extensive; she not only knows who to talk to she knows their private number in many cases.

Omega had not made it to his room as he had stopped at the kitchen to eat a bit. He took out some ground beef, raw spaghetti noodles, along with some some tomato sauce. He stated at what he had to work with before digging into the cabinets for seasoning.

Preparing some food would get his mind off of the events of today. Cooking always seemed to give him a peace of mind. He did not care that he always made too much for himself. He just wanted to make a product. Besides, he could always share with the others.

I know I was an asshole, but I had to be. You can't just expect a person to act like two decades never existed... I could have been a bit more softer.

She'll get over it. I mean how many times do you have to say it? If anything, all this Coheed shit is what's pushing you farther away. Honestly, they pushed you far enough when you were left to fend for yourself. You had to leave! Who does that to the kid who was only swinging. They the boy who wanted to reach the sky and buried him in the dirt. Omega is far more fitting name for someone like you. You're the final product. The end of line. Omega... the end...

Omega had a disturbed look on his face before his hand drifted to the pot.

"Shit!" He yelled as he burned his hand. "Who is in my head?" Omega asked himself before watching a newcomer walk by with an escort. He stared at her for a moment or longer until she was out of view. Soon enough he heard Shiver's loud voice echoing from upstairs.

In due time, he finished his spaghetti, but did not eat it. Instead, left it and headed to the office where he heard the tail end of what Retro/Eli was saying to Shiver.

"I'm not a fan of the fancy talk, especially when you sound like her." Omega said to Eli as he entered the office. He took a seat on his desk casually, trying to remain normal. He forced a smile. "Welcome to the team. I'm Omega, and some sort of team leader. The balance of power is kinda shitty. You'll see." Omega threw shade towards Shiver, but smirked at her as he did. "Shiver, we need to let Sigma out. The guards won't let me. She can't be in there. She lost someone close."

Shiver looked at him like he was crazy. "Fuck you spaceboy with no heart! You just broke your pregnant sister's heart on purpose and called me shitty in the space of ten minutes. Sigma deserves to be in there and she isn't getting out. I'm sending her to the Agency for the larger prison. She is a traitor and that is the end of that. BTW her friend won't be getting her out anymore. Portals won't open any longer anywhere on the premisis." Shiver was about to put him on ice. She couldn't believe him.

"I couldn't wait til you came back, now I'm sorry that you did."

Wicked Frost appeared and held her hand out to Retro. "Hello Retro. Let's go. I'll show you around." She looked at Shiver and almost said something to her but looked at Omega instead. "Did you really do that to your sister?"

She stopped a moment, "You were such a kind and sweet boy. You loved your sister more than anything. You even defended her when Tia..." Wicked left the room quickly with Elliot in tow.

Omega raised an eyebrow at Shiver, before rolling his eyes while looking away from her. There was no need to antagonize her further. Her words did not even seem to scrape the surface. He did not turn his head, but instead thought of what he could say next.

When Wicked appeared to take the newcomer, he looked up at her, but then looked away again. When she spoke he heard it again.

Hehe, someone just got put in his place.

"Listen... I was not calling you shitty. Just commenting on the... on the pecking order. It's confusing. If it's confusing, then I think it's shitty. And about Cambria... I only told her the truth. She just couldn't handle it, and I can't see why I look like the bad guy. Am I just suppose to pretend like everything is fine like your mother did when it wasn't. Lie like she and everyone else did? You can't punish Sigma for my honesty. She needs to get out. She has information on the Enchantress that none of us have. She also duped the Enchantress into getting into a fight she'd never win. If it wasn't for me getting sucked up into space, the Enchantress would be in that cell instead of Sigma. Transfer her at least." Omega attempted to be reasonable while sharing his honest opinion. "I think it would be best if we left our personal conflict out of someone grieving in a cold prison cell."

Enyo took Ro'kun's hand and sped him to Loki's private lair. When she opened the door and went inside Loki grabbed her and pulled her into his arms and went to kiss her. "You are teasing me by making me wait!" Enyo pushed back "Loki I need to tell you something." Ro'kun is my boyfriend and I...Dammit! Let go of me Loki!"

Eli waited passively as Omega and Shiver displayed their informal style of operation.

•What a mine field• she thought as she looked around the office in her own way.

It was her normal method of defense when she found herself at the center of a personality storm to escape into the past as a method of distraction; in this case it didn't help.

Thankfully Wicked Frost stepped in as a perfect distraction asking to show her around even if it all seemed to come off like a hurricane.

"I'd love to look around though to be honest by Proxy I feel as if I used to wander these halls" She said with a smile to Wicked

Shiver looked at Omega. She created an ice block that froze his legs together. She laughed and said, "Chip yourself out quickly." She tossed him an ice pick. "It used to be a running gag with me and Cammy. We would freeze each other and see who could get out first." She just happened to have the ice pick in her desk drawer. Cammy had left it in there and she had seen it that morning.

"Sigma gets out when you make up with your REAL sister. You know you can have your real family and the one that life gave you by circumstance." Shiver ice slid out of the office and headed towards the roof.

Ro'Kun narrowed his eyes at the spectacle, then walked up and picked Loki up by the shoulders and set him down away from Enyo. "Listen, Adam's Apple. I'm sure you're a big shot from wherever you're from, which I'm guessing is some Minnesota heavy metal band that's been playing small gigs for years, but 'round these parts are things we call Heroes. I'm one of them, and so is my girlfriend, Enyo."

He gave her a smile, and then turned back to Loki. "So, question. Do you use some special jel to make your hair like that is that all just grease?"

Enyo looked at Ro'kun and didn't know whether to laugh or cry. She saw Loki's expression and she stepped between them. "Loki this is what I was trying to tell you. Since the last time I saw you Ro'kun and I became a couple. You and I had an agreement that there would be no attachments with each other. It was just sex and we could walk away at any time."

Loki's expression hardened and his eyes seemed to become icier. "How could you choose this, little red man with a tail over me?" Enyo thought about her and Ro'kun a moment and she smiled. "He makes me laugh, he makes my life more fun. You know you and I can't be together like that anymore."

Enyo smiled at Ro'kun and when she did he animated the dragon on the coffee table and she backed up. "Oh come on! You can't bring a dragon into this!" She knew they couldn't leave with a dragon running loose in the world. She grabbed Ro'kun and ran outside with him. When they were outside she was thankful that his lair was in the mountains in an underpopulated area. "Rokun? Do you know what powers you got with that new tail? If so now might be a great time to use them."

As Shiver attempted to leave him in a sorry state, Omega snapped. He had enough of her childish ways. Quid pro quo was not how he was going to gamble Sigma.

"No!" Omega shouted. Shiver felt a soft tug before she was pulled forcefully into the office and placed at her desk. He stared at before hitting the inconvenient block of ice and shattering it. "We're talking about this again. Cambria has nothing to do with Sigma. She can be useful and she will cooperate. I can assure that." Omega said sternly. "Now actually give this some thought before you go off and play around or do I need your mother to have a reasonable conversation."

"You treat your twin sister who has been looking for you and missing you for 20 years or whatever it is like shit and you treat a woman who grew up with you and treats Everyone like shit as if she were gold. I can do that but you really won't like what happens to Sigma if I do." She crossed her arms and waited.

Wicked Frost entered the office in confusion. "I'm not sure what happened but Retro just took off." She looked from Shiver to Omega and saw the glares. "Can't you two stop being petty and obnoxious with each other for five minutes?"

It was strange to feel redundant but after seeing how much better a healer Wicked was than herself Amelia knew that sensation.

Wicked had proven how lax she'd been it treating people at headquarters after finding physical problems among the staff an team and healing them. Then it was her ability to alter them beyond their genetic code that showed Evergreen how much better she was than herself.

•No need for me with an actual Deity present, I guess it's back to the Nomadic life for me. • she thought as she looked around the facility once more with a sad smile.

Perhaps she'd go to Africa of India where people died of preventable ills or she could go to those countries where young girls an boys were missing arm's an legs because of the pollution of conflict such as mines and unexploded ordinance. It was what she'd done before she came here and it helped her feel full filled as a person.

She'd miss Rey of course but he was young and would recover though she would never forget him.

She didn't pack her clothes or take anything abnormal with her that might hint her leave taking because she didn't want to make a scene or big deal over it. Besides they might not want to allow her to leave and that could get messy, no better to vanish than fight.

So Evergreen merely walked to the gate where two men awaited her standing by a Limo sent by an executive who owed her an climbed in and drove to a nearby Airport.

And then in her own way after centuries of practice Amelia reentered the world causing barely a ripple.

"That's what I'm trying to do!" Omega paused as he heard himself raise his voice. "I'm trying to be reasonable, but your daughter is just playing games and bringing things into the discussion that are unrelated... and she has not been looking for me for that long. She didn't even know about me." Omega commented to Shiver. "Wicked, please. We need that intel and Sigma needs to be out of there. The cuffs can remain on."

"Oh REALLY? I DIDN'T notice you were gone? Seriously? I was the FIRST one to notice you were gone. I was the first one on the scene. Enyo followed me and after realizing there was a fourth in your little battle I questioned your protege Sigma. She had no idea you guys were even gone!" Shiver stared at him "I can't believe you! We fight all the time! How could you think I wouldn't notice you were gone. It was....quieter."

Wicked looked at her daughter and looked at her nephew. "Okay, so Shiver I know what she did and agree she is on punishment/prison til....what? What does she need to do to be allowed out of the prison and for you to cancel the transfer?"

"I don't know mom. What can she do to gain my trust?" Shiver contemplated it for a moment and shook her head slowly. "I don't know if she can." She ran her hand through her hair in frustration. "She was divulging info on her teammates. She was putting our lives in danger on purpose. The team is her family. FAMILY! Does no one understand the meaning of that word anymore? I would put my life on the line for her because she is my cousin's family which makes her MY family. Even though we didn't like each other and my cousin dislikes me so much, she was my family." Shiver had tears in her eyes "...and Mom, Sigma was throwing all of us into the wind." Shiver teleported to the roof.

She was so busy trying to be strong and do what needed to be done she was not taking good enough care of herself. She couldn't figure out what she ever did to Omega or Sigma to make them hate her so much. She climbed into the hammock and fell asleep.

Wicked Frost watched the look on both of their faces as Shiver explained her thoughts. She could see Coheed in Omega's expressions. Wicked believed that he cared about her whether he knew it or not.

"I would suggest you talk to her again after you both have cooled down." Wicked went to leave and hesitated. "I hope you know that she loves you." Wicked walked out of the office and left him standing there.

Omega stood there, bottling his emotions. He was frustrated, but also felt a bit sorry. He was tired of looking like the bad guy. He wanted to get his point across, but when he tried, it always translated into him being an asshole.

You'll never win, you know. Think about it. You basically have to fake it to make it. And there is far too much pride in you to accomplish that. You have an ultimatum. Be fake or lose Sylvia.

Changing the subject will not help you at all. You need to focus on Sylvia. In prison, crying over Aaron. Maybe you should console one crying girl to help the other. I'm sure Shiver will help you if you comfort her the right way.

"Fuck you." Omega whispered before rushing out of the office and softly grabbing Wicked's hand to get her attention. "Wicked, we need to talk. I don't know who else to go to anymore. Please." Omega pleaded.

Ro'Kun looked around unsure of himself. His tail was wrapped around his midsection at the moment. "Well, I dunno! I mean, I feel different a little bit. Like my instincts are bit more sensitive. Like I can smell things I didn't used to and stuff buuuut..."

The young man shook away his confusion and closed his fist, looking at the Dragon with determination. It roared and echoed across the mountains. "Ah fuck it. Come on babe, I'm sure both of us can take this thing. Then we'll totally give that Loki a swirly."

"Yeah." Omega admitted. He signaled her to walk and talk with him as he quickly tilted his head forward. "I think I'm being misunderstood, and I know this probably has nothing to do with y, but if it at least one person understands where I'm coming from, I'd feel better."

"When I found out that you sent me away, I was... I can't even say it was anger. It was rage. You don't even know how badly I wanted to hurt you. I felt as if you had single handedly ruined my life, and there was nothing I could do to you. You were dead." Omega said this solemnly. Remembering that day we saddening. "I flew away to somewhere I could dump powers off without hurting anyone. I did it until I could barely move. Even then, I was just tired and angry... But then I thought about how shitty life was. I thought about everything, and that's when I saw the good in it. I'm where I am today because of you. I'm who I've become because of you. I'm a hero because of you. All my life I just thought it was bad luck, because I didn't know anything that happened before the orphanage. With no memory of it, I lived a different life. I was Michael Watts and was known as Omega years later. As far as I knew, I couldn't remember a time where I was Coheed. So do you know what I did?"

"I told myself that I would just choose to leave the past as the past. I want to be Omega because to me, it's who I am. It's who I've been all my life. I just want them to respect that I want to be seen as that guy. That's why I say Coheed is dead. Not to be a jerk, but because he's gone. Years and years of being someone else has made him disappear. I feel bad for Cambria and Shiver, but I don't want to pretend to be something they want me to be. I just wish they could see me as just this guy on their team and not a long lost sibling. I just want someone to see me as me and who I am and who I choose to be." Omega said this softly as he walked with Wicked. The man had never had such a saddened tone until today.

Wicked listened as they walked. "I see what you mean and yes you are right. I don't blame you. You didn't know what was going on just that your life could have been a lot better...easier. I also know from being able to read her thoughts that my daughter has had trouble accepting you as her cousin. That is probably why she refers to you as her cousin so much. If she does that it is a constant reminder to her that you are family. She needs to do that because she still loves you. I'm not sure she would admit that but she does."

"You will find her much easier to deal with if you don't lose your temper with her. She had her father go into space to find out where the spaceship had taken you. That is where she lost track of you. She saw the creator when she went with her father and they got me back. There was a ton of other stuff going on too while you were gone and she has been dealing with this all alone."

Enyo sped up it's side and attacked it with a double whammy. She punched it hard in the side of the head while hitting it with a mind blast that could knock out an elephant easily.

"SHIVER! I NEED your ICE! It would be a lot faster then beating the DRAGON to death!" Enyo ducked as he blasted fire at her. Shiver was asleep in her hammock on the roof and was dreaming.

"Yoyo?" Shiver mumbled. She accidentally teleported in her sleep. Enyo reached down and grabbed her sharply waking her up on the speedy run.

"What the hell are you doing?" Shiver demanded while Enyo set her down and went back to bash the dragon again right after Ro'kun's attack.

"ICE NOW!" Shiver covered herself in ice and turned to see the dragon. She smiled as Ro'kun was pissing it off. She slid to a spot and iced it continually until the dragon was frozen.

Shiver walked over to the dragon afterwards. Enyo sped into the house. "He's gone!" "Who is gone?" Ro'kun was making Shiver grin. "Why are you out here?"

Enyo looked a little frantic. Shiver immediately got serious. "What is wrong Enyo?" "Take Ro'kun back." Enyo broke the sound barrier and shimmered on the run. "Holy crap! I've never seen her do that before." Shiver grabbed Ro'kun's hand and ported him back to base.

Enyo shimmered and fell in a roll and got up running. She never missed a step as she entered her house. "MOM! Where is she?" Bellare came into the room and a look of horror overcame her. "Oh no! I'm sorry. He looked like you!" Enyo turned around to run and yelled "I'm gonna kill him!"

Loki was smiling pretty happy with himself as he walked into the HQ. He had shifted into Enyo. He knew Enyo wouldn't be back yet and probably not for a while as she would be out looking for him. The sleeping child in his arms was beautiful. Half Asguardian and half Olympian. She was going to have a fantastic life. Shiver and Ro'kun arrived just in time to see "Enyo" walking down the hall carrying a small child in her arms.

"Enyo! What happened and who is that?" Loki stopped and took a breath. "It's my daughter with Loki." Shiver took a sharp breath. "Your what with WHO?" Shiver looked down at the sweetest little face of a toddler maybe 18 months old. Her hair was dark with red highlights. She was asleep.

At that moment Shiver could have been knocked over with a tissue. "How is it I'm your best friend and I know nothing of this?" Shiver stepped back a minute. "This is as bad as Sigma, worse actually."

Loki looked at her and said, "Sorry." Loki then looked at Ro'kun and said, "I guess you won't want to be around me either so I guess we are over too huh?" Loki then walked into Enyo's room and turned the tv on and laughed.

Shiver went to the jail and she opened the doors. She looked at Sigma. "The bracelets stay on. You MUST listen to both Michael and me. If you don't..." Shiver sighed. "Just do it. Now go before I change my mind."
