Oh so Wicked and Omega aren't blood. Well I guess that's not as gross. I have 2 questions. Tia and Omega don't look anything alike so how? And why did Wicked toss one kid away?

Often fraternal twins don't look alike. YOU figured it out. There is a reason she sent him to another home. That will not be revealed just yet but I do have that all figured out. Shiver and Tia will want to know that as well.
Wicked sort of fragmented after the gates were closed and that was because she lost all of her family one right after another.

There is a lot more to the Wicked story but this is more about the next generation. I'm having fun with it too. I hope I'm keeping you guys busy enough. :) I love the input from you guys too. And no I haven't forgotten about the Enchantress. She will show up regularly and soon here again.

You do not have super speed.

This is what you chose.

Offensive Power: Telekinesis =User can influence/manipulate/move objects/matter with their mind.
Defensive Power: Super Strength
Enhanced Power: Enhanced Regeneration

He could get faster than his normal speed with training but he could not reach super speed no matter what you do, it is not one of his abilities. Your Telekinesis is not allowed to go further than normal movement of objects. Yes you can use it to fly but you can not use it in a way that will overpower you. The suit has to be 100% responsible for the super speeds.

I understand that there is a deeper story going on and that narrowed the focus on three or four characters which means some were lost in the shuffle.

So in the interest of saving people the trouble of finding the posts I'll give a short rundown here.

Just before the military attack Jesse was suffering a sort of mental break which centered on how the government treated her mom. This break triggered repressed memories causing Jesse to remember that the last time she saw her mom MI6 was taking her away to a meeting of sorts.

Then Jesse was taken from the lady in whom's care she'd been placed by her mom and it was done like a military raid.

Jesse recalled being taken somewhere and having medical tests run while she was under heavy drugs then discarded when someone said she was a failed project.

It was shortly after these revelations that the Head Quarters came under military Siege

She heard the demands and how the government decided that Meta could be forced into Slavery or Lab Rat status without any recourse except compliance
That reminded her of how she's been treated her entire life; as a possession not a person which fed into her triggered memories.

Now she's sort of runaway to search for answers

Hey, I'm a little new to this website but I'm looking for a superhero group that is active and friendly.
I like scripting with other characters and I don't mind if my character loses in a fight as long as it's tasteful.
I'm in it for the storyline and I like power growth. If my character is losing fights, then it just means that I can up the strength of their abilities.
I can also do heroes or villains and I enjoy taking requests.
Have I come to the right place?

A good story is enough motivation and I see that you all are active because your IC is almost as full as your OOC.
I'm just trying to understand the current plot without sifting through 818 IC's. Lol

That's kind of the thing. We have a story for the HQ and have underlying stories between the charachters. There is a secondary story with Jess, one with Evergreen and Enyo one starting with Glitch another one with Omega, Cambria and Shiver is involved in at least two or almost all in some way. And all this with one writer on vacation. Lol

The biggest trick is you have to keep up. We tend to post daily in here if not several times a day and the story lines are really pretty cool. All of us have more than one charachter so if you do well then you always have the option to add more if I think you can handle it.

So, where to begin?

Alright, I know the basic rules.
ie:
No using other people's characters without permission.
Don't beat, maim or kill anyone's character.
Don't ruin someone else's storyline to advance your own.
Etc.

I need to know the universe's rules.
Like:
Are we all heroes or are there some character villains?
Can we attack the HQ?
Do we like being in the bunkers and fighting crime or are we forced to?
Can we write about sex?
How do you feel about multiple timelines? Multiple universes?
Does this dress make me look fat? (This one was a joke)

I do very layered storylines and I don't mind playing by the rules but I need to know all the limitations and constraints before I mold a character into this universe. Please and thank you!

Everyone is a hero and MUST live in the HQ. No one is exempt.
We don't attack the HQ but the villains do.
There is no multiverse in this rp.
Some of the heroes were pulled from prison or were offered the HQ as a way to avoid jail.
Romance is better than writing about sex. Fade to black or take it to pm if you need to.
The layout of the HQ is in the OOC, make sure you are familiar with it.
No one is allowed to use any type of mind control, copying or magical powers. Period.
All charachters need a cs sheet and have to be approved.
