[IC] Caldwell’s Academy- Year 4-The Beginning of the End of an Era……and New Countries!

Ayaka got the message soon after she got outside the Academy and just went straight back to her room to leave her animals there. Luckily, she had already packed a bunch of things so clothing for a week was easy for her to pick out right away. She grabbed her cloak and her equipment belt on the way out.

Just as Lore Master Lyonesse was about to start passing out the numbers she felt someone land on the 'fall'.

"This side is the student side. The other side is for the adults. Take a number from this rack then take a pendant from this rack. Then sit down and get acquainted with each other while I go back to the 'fall' for the newest person. I'll be back as soon as I can." she spoke.

Lore Master Lyonesse hurried to the'fall to see another student.

"Welcome to Safe Haven. I am -Lore Master Lyonesse Rozelda deForrest- Head of The Center of the World Ministry and I will guide you through your enrollment process today. May I have your name." Lyonesse spoke to the girl on the ground.

"Huh?" Tabitha was already freaked out to begin with and now this mysterious lady comes up to her introducing herself as Lore Master Lyonese and saying stuff about an enrollment process. "But I'm already enrolled in a school." Did she really just dream she was reading at the library? Nothing right now makes much sense unless she was asleep and dreaming. Of course, she didn't remember falling asleep and was unsure about giving up her name to a complete stranger.

@Aisling Jack followed the lady "Alright I'm listening, where are we and why have I fallen here?"

"This is too strange...." Esmeralda spoke as she took the number 1 and a pendant. The sign above the pendant said to put it on right away so she did.


"You are in a new world of magic now. You will have new and much more exciting classes to take. Come with me and meet two other students that came here through a picture like you did." Lore Master Lyoneese spoke.

"Shall I stay here and send the others up the path to you?" Lady Violetta asked.

"Thank you Lady Violetta." Lore Master Lyoneese smiled.
"Please follow me and I will explain everything to you inside with the other two students."

"Wait magic? But I thought that only existed in books?" Tabitha was plenty confused now. Still if magic were in fact real, it would certainly explain how she was able to fall through a painting. It would seem the same happened to a couple of others. "My name is Tabitha Roe," she told the lady as she followed her figuring it was ok to tell her. She didn't seem to be lying anyway.

"This building is called The Center of the World Ministry. In here we will have some meetings and you can see what is going on in the world. Please take a number and a pendant then find a chair. We will start the meeting shortly." Lore Master Lyoneese spoke.

That's quite the name for a building. Tabitha was told to pick a number and a pendant for some reason. She ended up picking number 2 and picking out a pendant, though she had no idea what either was for. Before she asked about it, however, Tabitha decided to wait and see if it would be explained first. She found a seat and waited for this little meeting to start.

Again welcome to Safe Haven. I am -Lore Master Lyonesse Rozelda deForrest- Head of The Center of the World Ministry and I will guide you through your enrollment process today.
You have traveled through a special Bridge to a new solar system to a new planet to a new continent to my world. It will be your world as well since this is a one way trip.
But there are many perks here that you wouldn't have on Earth. Like Magic for instance. You have a Magical Core and can do magic. How much Magic depends on how much Time and Effort you put into your studies.
I won't be your teacher but there are Teachers on the Planet and they will be teaching you a lot of new things. Things that are in your dreams. Things that you might have read in books. You might have seen some of the kinds of Magic on TV or in Magic Shows.
I know that you have many questions and there will be time for questions a bit later. But first I am going to give you a few things and help you get registered so that you will become a Resident of Safe Haven. After that we will have a basic question and answer time.

None of Taitha's questions were answered yet. They were told that there will be a question and answer time, however. For now, Tabitha did as instructed and walked up to get her new equipment, whatever that was. She read books about magic, but it didn't mean she knew what she would actually be needing to use in order to learn magic. Up until this point, she didn't think magic even existed.

“Everyone please hold your Pendant with your Dominant Hand

“Everyone please hold your Pendant with your Dominant Hand which is usually the one that you write with, until the Pendant glows with a series of colors. There will be four colors for your own Combination. The colors are red, blue, pearl and brown. Each color represents a Basic Core Element.
1) Red is for Fire Element
2) Blue is for Water Element
3) Pearl is Wind/Air Element
4) Brown is Earth Element.
You will be taught more about Elements in Caldwell’s Academy of Magical Talents and Draconic Arts. At this moment there is the only Academy but I have hopes that there will be more academies in the near future.

Next each of you will receive an Equipment Belt. Be sure to wear it every day and keep your Equipment in it.

The next item is an Aura Cloak. This Aura Cloak will show you that you have a Magical Core. Please put it on. Now think of your favorite color. As you can see your cloak change colors because of your Mental Magic. All you have to do is to think of a color, pattern, add more colors, animals, anything that you can think of, you can place on this cloak. Also only you can make the magic in the cloak that you are wearing change. No one else can. You may try this out later if you want to.

The next thing I want to give you is an Aura Fone. When you take the Aura Fone out of the box it will Imprint your Aura Pattern. The Aura Fone is set to the Main Communications System and will update the Fone Numbers as people are registered. You can bump the heads together if you want someone on your primary list.

Let’s Imprint your PLTs so you can Register for being a Resident. You will need to Imprint or Personalize your Personal LapTop System or PLTs next.
Hold your Pendant until the colors show your Aura Pattern.
Place your Pendant on the top of the PLTs until the Aura Pattern is transferred to your PLTs. Once you have Imprinted your PLTs, open it up. It will have a Start Up Program. It starts with a simple Questionnaire. This Questionnaire will help us place you where you belong.

Tabitha at The Center of the World Ministry

Tabitha held her pendant with her dominant hand until she saw it glow with all four of the colors mentioned. She was curious to what equipment they would be needing to need a belt for it, but figured she would have that question answered soon enough. The aura cloak was pretty cool though. It actually changed to her favorite color when she thought of it. Tabitha wondered what else the cloak can do and thought to try it out later.

The Fones were quite interesting else. She could see the usefulness behind these. The last thing was the PLT, which Tabitha followed the instructions to imprint it. She opened the computer up afterward, to find a questionnaire as Lore Master Lyonesse said there would be. Seeing as how that was the only thing she could do with the PLT at the moment, Tabitha filled out the questionnaire.

Esmeralda in the meeting at The Center of the World Ministry


Esmeralda looked at the pendant in astonishment. She held it in her hand and the colors swirled around until a pearl colored layer formed then a red, brown then blue. She admired the pendant. It was very pretty to look at but she other things to do.
The Equipment Belt was interesting and pouches to add to the belt but she didn’t know what they would need to have it for anyways.
Next was Aura Cloak and it was terrific! Esmeralda was delighted to be able to turn the cloak into a dazzling array of tiny rainbows which was her favorite color. She would practice using it as soon as she got a chance.
The Aura Fone was ok but it was useless until she found a few friends. Esmeralda had noticed a pocket in it and tucked the Aura Fone in the pocket.

The last thing was a PLTs. She put the Pendant on it and soon the Pendant began to glow with her own colors. It was really neat and very interesting. Esmeralda opened the PLTs to look at it. The alphabet was not in the right order and she did wonder why the letters weren’t in the right order. Maybe someone will tell her. But she needed to get the Questionnaire done. She didn’t know how much time she had left so she worked as quickly as she could.

@Aisling "Alright then, this is all a bit much to take in but please do lead on Ms. Deforest." Jack decided that he may as well give this a chance, though he was still a bit skeptical of another world in another Solar System . "Magic eh? sounds like fun." He smiled at the idea of studying such a thing, reading books was a fun pass time for him.

"Have you finished the Questionaire yet, Jack? I'd like to keep going for there is much to do yet today. For instance, you have shopping to do because you will need clothes, items for your room as well as school supplies and your pet." Lady Violetta spoke as she looked around the room. The PLTs registar noted that it was Jack who was speaking.
