Also, someone else who does TKD? In a Korean school, no less? \just a beginner though.
Begin Nerd Out: Haha, well I
say Korean School, because that's how I've always regarded my school, even though it's based in Australia and New Zealand and was once affiliated with the International Taekwon-Do Federation. I once attended a couple of South Pacific TKD classes when I couldn't make it to my regulars, but it almost seemed like a different style to me. I get that the Master of South Pacific is Korean Graded, but for some reason I've always placed more weight the fact that our Master was the first to actually be sent to Australia
by South Korea, not to mention that he was always present for our Gradings… But then again, I guess that's just me being loyal to my school xD
It does bum me out though that I haven't been able to keep up with my TKD since Uni and since moving to the States. I'm not even really sure if there
is a Rhee School around where I live in Texas, but… *sigh*
Oh well. It's something that stays with you though and you never forget ^_^
