Name: Erica Takagi-Ban
Age: 19
Gender: female
In addition to the picture:
Erica is 5'10" with a slightly higher than average body weight due to her muscle definition. She is usually wearing a blue, opened button down shirt for modesty's sake, but not when she fights. Erica also wears three bangles on her left wrist colored in an oceanic blue and sea green. These often hit each other in time with her arm movements and helps her keep a beat in her head. Her shoes are usually slip ons only used for traveling. She also wears a belt of braided rope colored in black with some green in it, showing that she is a third degree black belt in conventional terms. This is one of the few things she kept after she left the temple. Her black and blue colored headphones are typically around her neck, and is usually playing three songs constantly.
When fighting, she usually kicks her shoes off and she fights barefoot, but since becoming a Gamer, her feet have been covered at the top with a skin of leather that extends along her shin. On top of this leather is an intricate web design made of braided metal wiring, which concentrates the point of force along its raised ridges before the rest of contact is made and further drives in the ridge. Her hands are covered in a similar glove, which features leather and a metallic ridge along her knuckles and back of the hand. This is used to protect her hands as she flips and spins and allows for extra offensive damage and protection.
Personality: Erica is a fairly serious young woman that is technologically illiterate. She finds enjoyment in her fighting style and can often be found dancing around at random times. She is also introspective and struggles to be at total peace. Despite her upbringing, she is not interested in philosophy or history, and prefers to learn from her mistakes by beating her head against a wall. Metaphorically speaking of course. Analytical, quick to decide and act, headstrong and sometimes bitingly sarcastic, Erica is a good friend that can switch between serious and playful when the time is needed. Erica is not the most book smart young woman on the block but she is a very good judge of character and is rather intelligent. Despite her more serious base nature, she enjoys learning new things about the world, and is fascinated by the most mundane of technology. Just...don't leave her with a microwave, her curiosity lead her to put a fork in it. Then another. And another...
History: Erica is the daughter of a distant relative of Sumi Ban (and thus a cousin) and the Pacific Islander-Brazilian Capoerist the woman married. Erica's mother was killed by her father in a tragic sequence of events: The man fancied himself a healer, so he refused to allow his wife to go to the hospital when she was afflicted with pneumonia. This one act of pride cost the man his wife and earned the ire of her immediate family. To atone, he was tasked with teaching his young daughter his own fighting style as well as abandoning her at a predetermined temple, essentially exiling him from her life.
Erica grew up in the temple, learning Tae Kwon Do and applying their ideals and tenants to her life. It was less than two years later that a pilgrim from the temple returned and gathered a few choice students to teach them a new style of fighting: Capoeria. With further training in both martial arts, the school and its students blended the two together in a dangerous and potent style. Erica blossomed beautifully with this style of stealth and brutality and was the first to pass the Black Belt promotion test.
It was after this event and until the middle part of her teen years that she began to play a few games here and there. Most of her time was spent training, studying for the local high school exams, and meditating or resting, so she didn't devote as much time to it as she would have liked. As a result, of her schedule though, she could only operate her phone and the game system on a technical level. The temple enforced hard work over luxuries and thus limited their students in the way of technology.
She has recently ventured from the temple to the city in search of some purpose in her life. She loved her home, but she wanted to seek answers as to why she was left behind by her father. She was directed to the Ban family, her distant relatives to seek those answers and left with the monks' blessings.

Essential Capoeria Technique (Level 3: 0/100 EXP) (Active & Passive): +2 Dex, +1 Vit, +1 Str. The basics of the Capoeria technique are ones you know quite well. Whenever you make an Unarmed Strike using Capoeria and Cestus (or related gauntlets) you may add your DEX to the amount of damage dealt. N'Golo (Level 2: 0/100 EXP) (Active) (The words in the parentheses are the names of the actual attacks (as well as the names of Erica's basic attacks) so you can have an idea of what the moves kind of look like) A rapid string of basic attacks that push the very limits of Capoeria. It starts with a back fist punch aimed at the head (Godeme) to daze, a quick spin into straight punch to the throat (Asfixiante), then follows with a straight kick to gain some distance (Chapa). Once distance is achieved, Erica tucks then front flips. She lands on her hands, and swings her hips into a double kick, plants her left foot and reverses her momentum into a hard kick with the left. She bails out of the kick at the last second to plant the left foot beneath her, and quickly swings her right leg into a devastating kick to the head (Meia-Lua de Compasso). Once that is complete, she turns on her hands with the momentum and brings her left foot over in a heel crescent kick to the opponent's sternum or skull (Armada). She then follows her momentum and lets it carry her back into her basic stance (Ginga). This technique is quick, and its moves can usually be adapted for optimum unpredictability and power. Difficult to dodge and block due to the sheer power and speed gained from Erica's own abilities as well as the conservation of motion and momentum. Can be interrupted, but highest chance of interruption comes from an outside party. any attack that is dodged or parried can be countered. To level up: Use N'Golo, use basic Capoeria attacks.

Spirit Channeling (Passive): This technique allows Erica to utilize her spiritual energy for battle.
Spirit Strike (Level 2: 0/100 EXP) (Active): An unarmed strike that utilizes Spirit Channeling give it some extra damage. This was created after Erica learned w to conjure and shape her own Pseudospace. It is the connection off her feelings to her spirit to herself that allowed her to learn Spirit Channeling.
