[IC] Highschool Roleplay

I tap my pencil against the paper, my work already finished, the teacher just going over the answers and answering questions to students who don't understand it. It was last night's assignment, I glance around, just to see how many are copying down the work from the board before they turn it in. I start working on other subjects, like Earth science, forensics, astronomy, animal science. I flick down through my phone, reading the latest articles on the news. The chat bubble pops up on my screen, Sher, a closer friend of mine, placing in all caps...
OMG THERES A NEW BOY COMING TO SCHOOL< I JUST HAD HIM IN MY LAST CLASS!!! HE'S SOOO CUTE OMG IF YOU SEE HIM AGAIN LET ME KNOW. LIKE ASAP OKAY?!!
I look up from my papers, even though it's November I don't know the names of the other students in my class. I'm to busy doing my own work to worry about some other idiot. I start going over formulas to estimating the height of a human male by the length of his femur.

Swears under my breath. I'm late on my first day, why...why did I have to take a wrong turn. Ugh. At least I found there was a green house, a library and a cafe.
I walk at a brisk pace and look up at the room numbers. 306, 320, 307,319...Found it finally. 318.
I take a breath and knock on the door. The teacher answers it, my face starts getting warm. Crap.
"You must be Kyle?" He seemed polite and nice. But teachers are so two faced.
"Yeah." I nod and shove my hands in my pocket, rocking on my heels.

The teacher pulls me in and makes me stand in front of the class. He tells me this is my textbook, handing me a card to fill out. I write in the information and he signs my agenda. I look up and around for a seat.
"The only seat we have open in the class is that one in the back." He points and there's stuff all over it. It must belong to the girl sitting there.

I look up from my books and papers, I assume it's the new student.
Not my problem. I message Sher back, saying he's in my calculus class. The teacher and him talk then the teacher points in the back at me...
What the hell?
Why is he walking over to me?
I look around and all eyes are darting between him and my table.
I look to see there's no other seats...
Ugh.
I clean off my bag, scrapping my seat over to the right side more. I go back to ignoring his existence, as well as the annoying glances that got casted my way. They were more looking at him, but still. It was distracting me from my bones.

I move the seat to my left, giving her as much space as possible. I open up my new notebook, and start just taking random notes. We had already covered this section at my old school. I look up and see heads turning back to the board. It was to say the least irritating. I turn back to my paper, and start just doodling. I lean my head into my left hand, elbow propped up. The teacher called on a name, the girl's head lifts up from her papers. She glances over the board and answers. The teacher says it's not correct.

My name is called, I glance over the board. The question of true and false was written on the board.

True or False. The two functions f and g defined by f(x) = 3x + 3 for x real and g(t) = 3t + 3 for t real and positive are equal?

I do the math in my head and it's false.
"False."
"No, any one else? Aiyana why don't you try and write on the board the work."
I feel like a slap in the face and I speak up.
"It's false." I get up and grab a dry-erase marker from the board. He protests and tells me to sit down. I fill out step by step of the equation and how it's set up to each other. I put a slash through the equal sign in the end and cap the marker.
"It's false." I look at him and he goes to his desk to look at the key. He looks up and down from the board and his own work. I start back to the desk and he clears his throat and explains his mistake on his paper. I go back to studying the pectoral girdle and the bones inside of it.

I look up watching her go to the board and write it out....
My jaw hangs slightly open as I watch her correct theTeacher....
She plops back down next to me, like nothing ever happened. A picture of a skeleton on her lap and paper and pen on her left side. She looked like she was making a study guide...
Dayum. She's...intense. And kind of scary...

It was like this the rest of class, I studied and ignored the outside world. It wasn't until the students started getting up that I realized that class had ended. A group of girls surrounded the new boy, I didn't even remember his name. I'm to busy trying to catch up on work, trying to get ahead. They were explaining how the lunch wave works and all that.
