@Altered Tundra 'Noble' heroes. Yeah, so noble that one of them peaced out to his home planet after taking a bath, one ran away to cry and be alone, and one is a literal actual criminal. Stark at least can own up to his mistakes. Rogers is blinded by an outdated sense of idealism that doesn't exist anymore. Iron Man is already public and what's the worst that happened to him? One of his houses got blown up with no casualties. Captain America has a damn museum dedicated to him and secret nazis know who he is, plus he's literally created his own enemy in Crossbones so what's the worst that registration can really do at this point?

All the government wants is for the heroes to be held accountable for their actions, and if that's the price to pay you'd better believe I'd pay it.

Also the only ones that have families anyway are Scott and Clint and they both already got involved. Iron Man has done more for the world than Cap has and Iron Man deserves your support.

The only reason ya'll support Cap is 'cuz he's super in love with Bucks.

I don't deny that there is some truth in what you say, but there are people out there - people whom live normal lives with the occasional vigilante justice night, but this registration act will make ALL of them, not just the ones who do thing to help people out, have to come forward to pretty much say "Hey, I keep my neighborhood safe, but the government is mad for actions that were unavoidable, so I guess my family is gonna die."

And I'm not just talking about those in the Civil War film. I'm talking about the AoS guys, the Netflix/Defenders guys. They'll have to forsake their secret identity because the government is scared. Guys like Daredevil and Luke Cage who have enough enemies after them by themselves, but when you add on the fact that their secret identities could be discovered because of something the governemnt wants to force upon them, all of those that they know and love may very well be dead because of this act.

For the record, I don't support capt because I'm "in love with Bucky". I mean, yeah Bucky is bae, but that's not the only reason. I support capt because I believe in the right to privacy. Someone who is a hero at night should be able to walk the street without their mask on without any fear of getting attacked or mauled by fans/reporters.

I'm with @Altered Tundra on this one. I don't just support Cap 'cause he's "in love with Bucks" (even though he is) but because Cap stands for what I believe in, in the case of this movie/issue, at least.

Living as a vigilante is not exactly living a normal life now is it. The entire point of this version of Civil War is because these people need to be held accounted for their actions. Yes, they saved lives in Sokovia but the fact remains that an entire European city was lifted into the air. A government organization was taken over by Nazis and giant warships rained down on the nation's capitol. Aliens attacked a major metropolitan area and true innocent people died. A green beast went on a rampage in a city. That same green beast had a damn brawl with another beast in a different city. Ant Man jeopardized his own innocent family and an equally as innocent neighborhood, and this was after he caused an entire company to implode or whatever.

Heroes are not above the law just because they have super powers. They should be held accountable for their actions. I don't watch AoS and Daredevil was eh but those people aren't immune just because they're not in the big leagues. Jessica Jones already causes problems by hiding shit from her friends and Purple Man is going to find out shit about you regardless of any accord. Any villain these people come up against are going to do so regardless of whether or not the public knows who they are. A damn teenager is on the side of the accords and if he can see the reason behind it, why the hell can't Cap? Because he still believes in the America he left behind. He's still living in the past.

Just look at the lineup on Team Cap. NONE OF THEM ARE CONCEALING THEIR IDENTITIES. It's public record who and what Cap is, Falcon is just straight up using military tech, Scarlet Witch is not wearing a mask and Wanda Maximoff is not exactly a common name, Scott's already got his family involved but at least he wears a damn mask. The whole 'knowing who the people are' thing doesn't exactly hold water when half of the big names are already basically flaunting their identities anyway.

Bucky was brain washed by Hydra. Can we really blame James Buchanan Barnes for the actions of the Winter Solider, of which Hydra manipulated him into? That's like blaming Clint for when Loki mind-controlled him and made him attack the other Avengers.

@Fabricant451 No, you can't separate the two, but you have to also look at the fact that there was mind-manipulation involved. If we are going to blame Bucky for the actions that Hydra forced him into, then we need to bring Clint up on charges for assisting Loki in releasing an alien army onto NYC, even though Clint was being mind-controlled at the time. I can't see blaming a man for actions he literally had no control over, since that's what brain-washing does. Obviously, Bucky has broken free from Hydra's brain-washing, and isn't the Winter Soldier anymore. He needs help now, not to be prosecuted for something that was beyond his control.

They even showed him getting re-brainwashed after some bits and pieces came back to him about his past. He was just a weapon that Hydra used to kill all of those people. If you blame Bucky for literally being Hydra's weapon, then we should toss the blame to Black Widow for being Nick Fury's weapon against certain hostile forces. She literally the same there.
