This is the upside of having a friend whose a manager at the theatre in my town.

It's a crappy theatre, but at least I get to see a terrible terrible movie for fweeeee.

I mean, that's still almost two hours of my life wasted purely on the fact that I wanted some eye candy, popcorn, and a soda (so like 15 bucks still; I made a bad decision too and wasted money on it haha ;3; )

However, I'm still confident in Suicide Squad being a good movie and hopefully what kicks DC into gear because they e been lagging behind terribly.

I'm less confident but I generally like David Ayer (End of Watch was super great) and I really want Will Smith to have something good again because he could use another hit. But the trailers that I've seen haven't filled me with optimism. Is it weird that when I saw the Bohemian Rhapsody trailer before BvS the first thing I thought was "Wow, they're going after Guardians of the Galaxy, huh?"

I just...I hope it's rated R.

I guess Deadpools wasn't a solid enough sell when they were making the movie. Once it came out, they were probably like. "ShiT WELL. Didn't know you could actually say fuck China and not get murdered on global sales haha."

Can a guy without a film degree or general knowledge about filmmaking chime in here? Ah hell, I will regardless.

David Ayer has interesting ideas. I don't know much about filmmaking, but I like to think I pay attention to some details, and his techniques are definitely unique to him(at least for me they are). I thought his direction of Fury was pretty ace.
