Also, the added hiders are an example on how it will be when people will feel the presence of Wraiths that are starting to notice rifts. This will most likely not happen often and there will be multiple warnings so people are ot going to instantly find wraiths right at their metaphorical doorsteps.

Rumiko does that sometimes, she has a busy life. I still count her as Active until we get to a point we can't continue without disbanding her.

There's your problem. You weren't trying hard enough. I'm sure there's more than three pokemon you could have caught between Pallet and whatever the third city was, even with Nuzlock. (i haven't played gold or silver in a long time. I think it was still in Kanto though)

The thing was, I was in the middle of grinding...but I forgot that the rival typically jumps out at you when you're about to go into the forest after the slowpoke-hostage-tail-chopping event thing is done with.

Restarted, with what I believe is the weakest of the starters. D'Anjou is a naive Chikorita who likes to tackle my knees...well, time to invest time, feels, and etc...hopefully I won't get owned like last time.

So, i started a new game on my copy of Black 2, starting fresh. Got to a good stopping point and said "I'm gonna save here!"

Too bad Black 2 and White 2 don't let you overwrite a save file from inside the game. If i want to save now, I'll have to forfeit the progress I made in the new game and restart the DS.
