Sorry to bother you yet again, but unless I'm blind, you're still rec'd to spectre and compared to Shepard.
@ShadowD It's not bad, but I don't want things to get over-complicated so no Sentinel Paladin (sorry). Everything is fine except for your bio, being the youngest captain in the Alliance and being recommended to spectre is basically being a better Shepard, I just want you to modify a bit of the god-moddy bio parts.
I counted seven people including myself so, sorry Soviet (you can join if you really impress me). You can join if somebody becomes inactive or drops out, you can make a cs incase though. So we're doing mercs I guess, I'll set up a cs template. I'll give you the basic plot outline and the actual assignment when we start, I want it to be somewhat of a surprise.

Basic CS Template

Name:
Gender:
Appearance:
Class:
Biography:
Notable Achievements:
Equipment:
Personality: (Please don't ALL of you be a "lone wolf", no seriously)

The basic outline is that you're all famous mercs that have made a name for themselves in some way. A mysterious client has contacted you each in some way and has promised a large credit reward. You know he's legit because he's already giving you a hefty advance, although you have no idea what you're getting yourself into. You meet him at the designated meeting spot (Omega) and see others. (The Client didn't tell you much, but you didn't know that you would be working with others.)
Don't go making your character yet, if more people join that want spectres, you're going to have to change it. Also, I'm going to say this another time don't make a Prothean Assassin or Subject 0 V2, I'll trust your judgement but I don't want you to make your cs all over again if it's too out there.
Merc vote accepted, yeah it's going to be medium. This would be set in 2186 CE, so after ME 2 but before ME 3, I want to be far away from the reapers and focus on the mercs. You have to be a Soldier or Adept, etc but you don't have to be human, just within reason (no hanar assassins or free-will geth).

Edit: 6-Man spectre groups would be unrealistic but we can always split it into 3-man groups with similiar objectives if people like the spectre idea.
Uhhh, I'm guessing low to medium casual, one paragraph would suffice, but make it somewhat decent sized.
OOC
Hi, I want to have some sort of Mass Effect group of elites, I have a two options that we could go with and if you opt in, I would like you to choose one. I'm set on 6 as a max population and 4 as a min population (including me) as to keep the "elite group" feel so unless you put a really good case, I'm not going to change it. I have two rules, 1. Use common sense (this includes god modding) and 2. Absolutely NO main cast, I might allow regular use of minor characters and maybe some very limited use of major characters later into the rp.

Choices

1. Renowned Mercenaries - Basically a group of elite mercs grouped up by a mysterious client (NPC) with a daunting task.

2. Spectre Unit - A spectre group put together to do a high-stakes assignment that only spectres can complete. (No humans, but you can kinda god-mod as you are a spectre.)

I'll put up a cs template when we are set on a group type, I'll also be using the ME classes like vanguard and adept, use some variety so we don't have 6 "lone wolf" soldiers
I'll be an infiltrator, if that affects your choices. Other than that, if this gets off the ground, have fun.
Alright, Tyrannids it is.
Also, maybe we could do something with hunting chaos demons then having a run in with Chaos space marines, that would be interesting.
"Whilst we stand, we fight. Whilst we fight, we prevail. Nothing shall stay our wrath."
—Marneus Calgar, Chapter Master of the Ultramarines

Name: William Selark

Chapter: Ultramarines

Equipment: Mark VII Aquila Power Armour
Two Servo-Arms
Hesh Pattern Bolter
Power Axe
Bolt Pistol

Biography: William was born on Masali into a farming family, his parents were always scared that one day William would be taken to become a Space Marine. The day finally came that, two days after he turned 13, he was taken to begin training. Through the grueling training needing , he finally became a space marine after years of dedication. Throughout his training, he showed proficiency with mechanics. 5 years of serving as a tactical marine had passed before he was admitted into the Adept Mechanicus. William was shipped to mars to be trained as a techmarine. He came back to his Ultramarine brothers a full-fledged techmarine. He spent the next 80 years serving the Ultramarines as a techmarine, until when he was 106, he was seconded to Deathwatch. Ready to slay and cleanse the known galaxy of Xenos scum, he joined Deathwatch and begun his Deathwatch journey.

Notable Achievements: Fought against the Orks in the Assault on Black Reach along side Cato Sicarius, Fought against Hive Ship Behemoth for 10 years. Is renowned for his ability to fix and maintain mechanics.

Physical Description: Short Black hair, X scar on his nose to cheek from fighting a Tyrannid. Looks like a generic space marine with his helmet off. His armor is black, the colour of Deathwatch, save for his helmet which is red to signify that he is a techmarine. His right shoulder is blue and gold with the symbol of the Ultramarines on it, his left should is a black and white with the Skull of the Deathwatch. He also has the symbol of the Adept Mechanicus on his right thigh (on his armor).

Personality: William is a very loyal marine, during his 5 years before he was admitted into the Adept Mechanicus, he has always been 100% with the Ultramarines. When his loyalties were torn from the Adept Mechanicus and the Ultramarines, he too was torn. But he has learned to adapt from his Techmarine training, and since then have always been quick to adapt. William is also a very open person, able to befriend his fellow marines quickly, but since becoming a Techmarine distrust has fell upon him. The only marines that he has close relations with are his Techmarine brethren. He spends most of his spare time with fixing or creating Mechanics or sometimes the other Techmarines.

I don't think we should include Head Librarians, Head Chaplains, or Masters of the Forge as they wouldn't join Deathwatch due to the fact that they are already heads of the Chapter. It's kinda like the Chapter Master leaving to join Deathwatch but on a smaller scale.
