I am indeed floating around and I shall hopefully get a post up later today.
I will try to post soon, it won't be until tomorrow evening at the earliest.
Today was one of those days that Kat hated most. It was the first day back from Christmas break, yet it seemed like the majority of the student body had failed to notice that their hiatus was over. Unlike the other students Kat had not failed to accept the restart of school, in fact she had even dressed for the occasion in a rather semi-formal outfit. It consisted of black dress pants, with a tucked in white dress shirt, over which she wore a black button up vest and to complete her look she was wearing a pair of non-prescription horn rimmed glasses and had her hair tied up into a loose studious looking bun. However, though it appeared to her that she was one of the only students who cared and was not blathering away about their vacation, in fact all the others appeared to be trying out do one another in how loud and obnoxious they could be in their retelling of their time away from school. Sighing quietly to herself Katherine grabbed her lunch and made her way towards her group's usual table, in the back right corner of the cafeteria.

Upon her arrival at the table she calmly greeted her friends and sat down. The group at the table quieted for a moment as the all replied casual greetings towards Kat. Sitting down she waved a hand towards them and they continued on with their conversation. Trying to ignore the loud prattle of the other students around her Kat silently sat about eating her meal, only speaking at one point when one of her friends mentioned how she got her boyfriend concert tickets to see his favorite band. To which Kat jokingly stated, "Sure and that's only thing you gave him." Her friend's face flushed red with embarrassment at Kat's implication, while the others at the table began to laugh.

Continuing on with her lunch Kat was begining to forget about her annoyance caused by the other students. It was just as she sat back down from dropping off her tray that a reminder of how much she hated the noise, Ethan Siroto. He was an epitome of the loud obnoxious-ness that she detested. The annoying senior had managed to make her already bad day worse, merely by showing up and talking, because it seemed that Ethan did not posess the skills to enter normally, no he had to make an "elaborate" entrance. An entrance of which had to be loud about, which of course drove Katherine to feel like slamming her head into the table. Today was not going to get any better.
Fine blame me.

Yeah Drayden talked to Cordelia
Bounding from branch to branch in the canopy Drayden was making good time. Well, he would be if he actually knew where he was going. Not that he didn't know where he was going, he knew he had to get to that one floaty place La-someting-or-other, but at the moment he was still looking for a partner. Drayden was determinded to find a partner, that way the rest of the trip chasing down whatever-its-called wouldn't be so bad. After all once he found his partner they could talk about their life stories, hobbies, taste in music, or whatever they had in common, Drayden wasn't too picky as long as they could get to know one another he was fine. Yep, as long as he could talk to them he knew they could get along. Then it occured to him, what if they were deaf or couldn't speak. Hmmm... Oh! Maybe they could teach him sign language. That would be soooo cool, it could be like their secret way of talking, well not that secret, but oh well.

Finally deciding that just heading off in a random direction wouldn't work very well he scaled to the top of his current tree. Looking out from the upper branches Drayden could see the floaty place doing its floaty thing and decided he'd head that way since that was where most of the others were headed, probably. Throwing himself away from the body of the tree the monkey tailed boy flew towards the trees below him giggling like mad. Managing to grab a thick branch he swung on to it and landed with his feet on it next to his hands. Smiling in excitement he perched there for a moment. As he started to move though he witnessed a flash of black feathers whip through the branches in front of him. Immediately he hid behind the nearest tree trunk his mind screaming NEVERMORE!!!! Taking a breath he paused, 'Wait a minute that was too small to be a nevermore, silly brain. Wait! Feather Girl! Yay! Partner!' Taking off her general direction Drayden began to debate his introductions.

Before he could act out any of the possible introductions the girl dissapeared from his view. Stopping for a moment he looked towards where she was. Continuing forward slowly Drayden called out, "Hey ummm Feather Girl you, okay? Want to be partners?" As he reached the area that she dissapeared from he saw her standing in a clearing with another girl. "Oh well nevermind looks like you have one." Drayden said as he dropped down from the trees still as upbeat as ever. It was then that he took notice of the third figure in the clearing. His eyes immediately locking on to the dark red cloak he zipped over to the cloak and its wearer. "Ooooooh, nice cloak," he stated excitedly while circling the girl looking her up and down, before pausing to stop in front of her. "I'm Drayden Til," he spouted eagerly holding his hand out to the mysterious person, "Lets be partners."
Sliding backstage just as James began the standard intro for the show, Vincent sighed it was almost time to perform. He could really go for another cigar, in his one hundred and three years of smoking he had come to accept that he had become a little... dependent, maybe. Right now though he really did wish for the nerves loosening effect, he had a new trick he planned to try tonight. The problem with it though would be manipulating every member of the crowd with just a few words and nudges. Taking a breath Vincent just decided to double check that he was ready. Suit? Pristine. Cards? In his pocket right next to his lighter. His lighter reminded him he really wanted that cigar right now, but smoking in the tent was usually frowned upon by at least some portion of the showgoers. Resolving to go outside while James finished up he started to leave, only to hear Jimmy start to finish. "Great, nows I gots to stick arounds, I'm up afters Julian and I don'ts sees him yets, so I might gots to fill in." Vincent complained under his breath.

By the time Julian popped in and finished his set Vincent had managed to gain his composure. Walking out to confront the crowd Vincent straightened his jacket. "Ah, good evenin' ladies and gents," he called out to gain their attention "If yous all coulds just forget I'm here 'til I greets ya again, we'd be peachy." With that said all the audience returned to talking to themselves, completely forgetting the existence of the man on stage. After setting up a nice leather chair in the middle of the area he sat down.

Clearing his throat Vincent called out in a booming voice, "Ladies and gents its so goods to see ya's t'night." The moment he spoke half the audience jumped now taking in the the man sitting in fine suit in a leather chair in the middle of the tent. After their intial surprise they burst out clapping, many still openly wondering when he got there. Chuckling modestly Vincent spoke again, "Wells that wasn't a trick, but thanks ya. I am The Puppeteer and t'night many of yous shall be my puppets, in fact all of ya have alreadys begun to dance for me. If you takes a moment to recalls yous already saw me walk in here, I just asked yous to forgets and you kindly dids." It was then that his first appearance popped back into their heads and there was a collective gasp from the majority of the audience. "Nows for thoses of ya who still don'ts believe I'll demonstrates." Pulling out his cards he handed them to a member in the front. "Yous don't gots to take one if yous don't wants to. Just pass 'em along."

Once all the cards had been passed out, Vicent asked those with cards to focus on their card. Starting with a woman in the front row he procceeded to call out every persons card. By the time he had finished his demonstration he was fifty-two for fifty-two. "Nows for the next part of my act I'lls be calling ups certain cards to helps me, buts keep in mind yous don't gots to come up unless yous want."

After quite a few more tricks there were only four cards left that hadn't been used the aces. Pacing in front of the crowd Vincent called out, "Fors my final act I thoughts we could play a man's sport. Russian roulette." Pulling his hand out of his pocket he held up his empty hand and spoke again. "Do yous see these 'ere revolver, wells if I could gets my aces up here, otherwise known as my bullets, I cans conclude this act." Many of the audience gasped as four of their own (a young clean cut man, an older gentleman, a young spunky looking teenage girl, and another guy about her age) stood and made their way down to the floor. "Ahs, wells nice to sees thats yous gots faith in me," Vincent said to his new assistants. Turning back to address the crowd he held up his free hand, which was completely empty. "Nows I wills put this 'ere bullet in the gun and we can gets to playing." As he spoke he placed the "bullet" in the cylinder spun it and closed the "gun". Looking back towards the aces he inquired, "So's who's first?" The four glanced at each other nervously. Placing the "gun" under his chin Vincent just said, "Wells l goes first I guess. You just might want to covers yours ears, case there's a bang." With that he pulled the trigger and whipped his head back as he fell. The next thing that was heard was just the screams of the crowd as they looked down upon the dead magician.

Standing up Vincent looked at the crowd, "Jesus all of ya's screamings could wake the dead." All of the crowd just looked at him in shock. Chuckling Vincent instructed them, "Takes another looks at the gun." Lifting up the "gun" for them to see he just said, "Sees nothing there." With the new realization of no actual gun in their minds the crowd burst out cheering and applauding. Bowing Vincent spoke his final words of the evening, "Nows don't forgets about our other talented indiviuals evens if theys aren't as flashy."

Once off stage Vincent looked at James as he pulled a much needed cigar out. "Yous knows I might have hads my brains blowns out, but I thinks I blew theirs minds." With that that remark Vincent stepped outside and lit his cigar happily inhaling its relaxing fumes.
I'm still here.
The entire time on the airship Drayden was fidgeting and looking about. Despite how his actions seemed the monkey faunus was not nervous, in fact he was excited. How could he not be? He was about to take the part in the intiation exams, plus there were all these new people to talk to! However, though instead of interact or let his exuberence burst through, Drayden was trying to take his parents advice and dial the whole extreme amounts of energy and what-not back. Of course though being who he was even his dialed back state of joy, led to more expressive forms of release. If anyone cared to look close enough at him they would see a brown haired monkey faunus wearing a Sanctum school uniform doing an odd little dance. Drayden was in fact bouncing up and down a bit, while moving his hands in a sort of weaving pattern in front of him, all while his tail appeared to be keeping tempo to the unheard beat.

The moment the second annoucement rang out though he stopped his dance. Drayden's small perpetual smile grew to a large grin as he laughed excitedly, and slipped on Peacekeeper and Outlaw. It was going to start soon! He would get to meet his team that he would work with throughout the rest of his time at Beacon! But who? Several of the other students had caught his attention. There was a burly faunus that seemed eager to get started (enthusiasm is good!), there was an adorable rabbit faunus (nothing that cute could make for a bad teammate), the girl sharpening her knife (being prepared is nice), and finally the bird faunus (oooh! Feathers!). Shrugging to himself Drayden just decided to roll with whoever he got, after all if they all wanted to be hunters as well they had to be good people, right?

With the partner thing figured out Drayden decided to make sure he was ready to go. Oufit all nice and neat? Check. Uncomfortable armor shirt on underneath it? Definitely, it would be hard to forget about the tight shirt that protected his upper body, sooo uncomfortable. Knives in boots secure? Check. Outlaw loaded and ready to go? Oops, almost forgot to load my weapon Drayden thought as he chuckled quietly to himself. Grabbing the fire dust from his jacket he loaded his right glove. Going to put back the now half-full case of dust back the room suddenly began to fall and Drayden found his dust slipping out of his hand. "Oh no, no, no, no, no. I need that!" he cried out as tried to grab as he and many of the other students began to fall about the falling cabin. Managing to wrangle his dust after bouncing off of a few other students in his pursuit, he sighed happily. Now laughing gleefully Drayden found himself falling out of a boken window and plummeting towards the ground head first. Strecthing his left arm out he held his left hand open, while he pulled his right, which still held the dust in it, to his chest. Letting out a shout of exhilaration as he fell, the only thought rushing through his head, 'This is going to be AWESOME!'

Crashing into the canopy of the forest he collided with several branches, yet continued downwards at quite a pace. Activating Passive just a moment before he met with thw ground he absorbed a large amount of energy as he rolled through his landing, ending up on his feet. "Trees hurt," he muttered to himself as he dusted off his now torn clothes. That fall had left him with quite a bit of extra aura and in all honesty the amount was actaully making him feel a little jittery. It was like the supreme sugar rush! Fueled by his already naturally bombastic attitude and now the excess 'aura' Drayden set off on his search for new friends chuckling, after apologizing to the trees for how he just dropped in on them, without calling ahead.
