@TheUnknowable I like that idea, maybe he's even blackmailing the head of the company our characters are working for, and they slowly uncover the increasing sketchy-ness of the whole thing?

This seems really fun, interested! :) I like the hired for some kind of job idea for the plot, maybe by someone whose motives are less than 100% what they seem to be - perhaps to try and study superhumans in action to develope more tech/sciencey stuff/prove some kind of point about superhumans (maybe they don't like how superhumans' skills are so in-demand and want to use our characters to show superhumans aren't that great after all) and then our characters have to figure out what's really going on? Just throwing sround ideas :)

Sorry it's taking me so long to get my char up, things are a little hectic right now - it's snowing really bad and no one's used to it, which means getting anything done is a bit of a pain. Should be done soon though as I don't have uni tomorrow.

Hey there, this seems really interesting. I kinda like the investigators/detectives idea - it could be a mix of people who don't really know each other, like a PI hired by someone who went missing's family, a nosy journalist drawn to the town, a police officer who got sent there because they had a shortage or whatever who starts poking round, a paranormal investigator-type who's just up for a good mystery, or whatever else, and they could all start falling over each other. The mysterious inheritance idea is cool too, and family relationships are always interesting to explore. I guess it depends where you want to take it. I do prefer the detectives/investigators option of the two though as I feel it would allow the most freedom in terms of character creation.

Hey, err, I'm really sorry to just drop this on people, but I think I'm going to have to leave this rp :/ It's moving a little too quickly for me to be honest, and I'm starting uni in a couple of weeks, so I doubt I'm going to have much time for something this fast paced for the forseeable future.

I'm really sorry about this, and if you need me to write an exit-post or whatever then I'm happy to do so, just let me know.
