Aiden's eyes slowly crawled open, much to his disliking he was waking up and when he woke up in the morning it was hard for him to fall back asleep. It was useful, he thought, on days where he had schooling. If he could just fall back asleep instead of getting up he would, but he sat up, and got ready for the day.
Not too long later he was dressed and full of breakfast, ready to deal with the newly-redone school. He extended his wings and took off, flying low and out of sight towards the school. One perk of his new powers, he could easily fly with his wings and it made land travel an unnecessary form of transportation. Only after a few minutes he landed in is school's yard, retracting his wings and walking inside and towards his first class. He liked to carry most of his stuff in his bags, lockers were unsafe to him, especially now that most everyone had powers.
After finding his way to his first class he sat his books on the ground next to a desk he liked and plopped down in it, taking a book out from inside one of his bags and continuing where he left off on it. He liked books, especially about birds and animals, most likely due to how his mother was a Zoologist focused on birds. She had always showed him her studies when she came home and sometimes brought birds, sparking a fascination in birds. Wouldn't you guess his mother's face when she found out what his powers were. He thought about introducing himself to someone, but decided against it and continued on his book.
