"Well, I guess I'll see you later then?" Zakai, heeding Kuroda's advice, activated the D-Scanner again and watched as Gazimon was once again 'digitalized' and returned to . . . the Digital World?

"Yeah, we'll see. Maybe I'll be busy and won't make it next time."
Gazimon replied apathetically right before he faded away.

Zakai now remembered the Giga Blast card in hand, and with Kuroda's approval decided he should quickly put together some kind of deck with the newly available cards. He probably didn't have much time however, if there really was some large Digimon terrorizing the city. He still was half expecting this all to be some sort of joke, but everything was serious up until now. So for better or worse, he'd continue along with this.

Not wasting time, he made his way back to the deck he was shuffling through earlier. This time, he withdrew cards that might have some sort of use as he did. He wasn't sure which Digivolution Gazimon would end up having exactly, but he did his best and made sure to snag cards that Gazimon could effectively use in his current form. Who knew if real Digimon even followed the paths they knew? Once he was finished, he walked back over to Kuroda.

"Ready to go."
Excited to work with you all as well! @Jinxer
Tsku

Now that formalities were out of the way and they were it seemed, officially apart of this new tribe, Tsku took a moment to consider his next actions. Though they all desperately needed rest, Tsku could tell that their new comrades were not exactly flourishing and could use assistance themselves. The sun would be setting soon and he had a feeling they did not have enough food for them all. Yan-took, as always, was quick to offer help and choose to do something productive. Tsku, having a skill that allowed him to push himself beyond his limits, decided this would be an appropriate time. He would let the others rest and help Yan-took establish their role and usefulness in the tribe.

"I will accompany, Yan-took." Tsku responded, nodding as he approached Yan-took. "Let us try to strike fast and strong. Though we need food, we need rest as well." It was unfortunate that Shiba passed out in such a way, but he knew that the others would take care of him in his absence. Also, though he had just met these goblins, their elder seemed of kind heart and gave off a welcoming and trusting aura. His experience with all sorts of animals gave him a rather keen sense of perception.

Walking out from the large golden doors beside Amen, Zamonth curiously looks around the glowing palace. "Yeah I guess so." He shrugged nonchalantly. "It is kind of bright though. Everywhere I look, I have sun reflecting in my eyes." His voice, though he wasn't trying to speak loudly, was naturally booming. Some of the officials closer to the them could hear his comment as they gave odd sideways glances to each other. They were probably already confused enough to see someone in his attire, but to hear someone speak of their great palace like this was probably unheard of and quite insulting.

As everyone erupted in praise, Zamonth was just as taken back as Amen was. He wasn't impressed though. In his experience, those that that tried too hard to like someone they didn't know or care for was only their way of trying to earn good favor amongst someone who had more power than they did. But as patiently as he could, out of respect and loyalty to Amen, he remained quiet the remainder of the time and watched everyone exchange formalities.

Once the late Pharaoh's wife appeared, he raised a suspicious eyebrow. Not only was she younger than himself, she was almost Amen's age! Either she was flat out used, or had some conniving intention that didn't quite work out once the Pharaoh died and Amen took over. He'd keep an eye on her. Simply nodding his head when Amen introduced him, he then followed after a servant to what would be his new room apparently. All he really cared about now was getting something in his stomach.

Once he was finished bathing, or rather, having been bathed by his several hostesses, Zamonth made his way back to where he saw Amen walk off to. As he found Amen's room, he quietly appeared behind the group of Viziers that was greeting Amen.

"Tattooed brute, ay?" From his overwhelming height, his cold and emotionless eyes stared down heavily on the old man that dared speak of him in such a manner. "Perhaps, I should show you some of this brute's brutality? I may not know anything about your dingy palace but I know a thing or two about smashing heads. Or if that's not disciplined enough for you, maybe you want to see some swordplay?" Zamonth reached behind his back and wrapped his fingers around the hilt of his giant broadsword that was now strapped to his back. He had no intention of really acting on anything, but the fear he would instill in this spineless man before him would be enough to permanently keep his mouth shut and think twice before so much as even uttering Zamonth's name. It wasn't a direct threat, as again, he was here to support Amen, but he was the furthest thing from a pushover.

"And who are these guys? I don't know if you got the message. But Amen is already being protected, and I can teach him anything he needs to know about combat. Surely, you aren't trying to insult your great Pharaoh and his powerful friend. Is that why you didn't send for me and I had to find my own way here?" His hand was still tightly clasping his sword hilt.

@tipssyCalibratorDepends on when everyone finishes their characters. Whenever it starts though, all approved players will get their vote in, so don't worry about the time.
@Dblade26@Hammerman@Solaris@Duthguy@Vongola_Hasayo@Rin@Blight Bug@Weird Tales@tipssyCalibrator

Just want to give everyone an update that the power system is almost finished. Once it's finished I'll share with you all and those who are still interested can provide feedback and finish their characters. From there, we'll start approving characters.

After getting all approved characters, we'll take a vote on where the story will begin!
Zakai, still in slight disbelief, looked back and forth between Gazimon and Bakumon. What were they going on about? Their types?

"What'd ya say your name is again? Gazimon asked dryly as he stared Bakumon down.

"I didn't. But it's Zakai." Crossing his arms now, Zakai was slowly becoming accustomed to the talking Digimon in front of him.

"Right, well. Virus Digimon don't exactly get along with Vaccine Digimon, you see. So I don't know what kind of team you're putting together, but I'm not so sure this going to work out."
Gazimon nodded his head over in Haruka and Bakumon's direction.

Before Zakai could comment, Makoto suddenly cried out and then there was a flash . . . wasn't there?

As quickly as the thought came to him, it was soon replaced with a question. He wasn't sure what had happened, but he felt something and Makoto's question made Zakai whirl his head around in confusion.

There were more people here with them. At least, it felt like there were. He wasn't really paying attention . . . and Kuroda said there was no one else there . . . Kuroda . . .

Gazimon's voice snapped Zakai from his thoughts again.

"Ah, another Virus Digimon! Maybe I wasn't the one who got the wrong invitation."

Zakai looked over at Makoto and his new Digimon, Commandramon, and decided to walk over in their direction. He didn't want to interrupt their introductions, but wanted to see if Makoto was feeling okay.
@BluMy thoughts exactly. And Khnum is the god of rebirth, so I figured that would be a significant event for Zamonth not only spiritually but for his magic skills.

EDIT: Because Ammit usually waits for Annubis's judgement before devouring souls, perhaps that could tie in to a way to calm or at least somewhat order Zamonth while in this form. Assuming Priestess Nebet is in the story, as she is his disciple.
@BluYeah that's fine! I just kind of put that together and wasn't trying to put together a Sacred State, as Zamonth will rely more on bronze than spells (at least in the beginning). I didn't think to mention his state of mind in the form either. I'll make sure to fit the form into the plot and make whatever changes are necessary for Sacred State.

Also food for thought, Ammit is a demon so maybe there could not be a controlled state of her power? I don't mind one way or another but the thought came to mind. It would also explain how he obtained her power without much practice in magic.
