I don't have much experience with RP, but it seems pretty fun so might as well try!

Name:
Kwu Cho-Jao

Appearance:
Kwu is a well built man of Chinese descent. He keeps his black hair almost shaved. He almost always wears a black suit and tie, devoid of any ornaments, yet still of great quality. Whenever he takes it off, you can admire the full body tattoo of a snow white tiger roaring representing his old gang.

Cliches:
-Triad Enforcer (3): If you can intimidate a man into paying a protection fee, you don't need to break his legs so he understands. Of course, sometimes, a little roughing up and a few broken fingers serve as a great reminder of who runs the town.
-High risk driver (3): Kwu's years as the mountain chief's driver left him with experience of how to drive a vehicle in the most dangerous of situations: chases in dangerous terrain, while being attacked, are nothing new.
-Con artist (2): An honest man cannot be part of the Triads and Kwu is far from that. He has knowledge of how to swindle people into buying fake medicine and how to make them believe the most outrageous lies.
-Chinese Traditional medicine (1): Chinese medicine, while not as recognized as western medicine, does bring interesting things to the tables. Rumors talk about drugs that can kill a man outright, make another stronger than the biggest of bulls and many other strange things.
-Gambling (1): An essential skill and hobby of every triad member. Lives have been built and lost over dice and mahjong tables and sometimes, lady luck needs a little help to set the odds.

How you got there:
Crime can be very lucrative, especially when you are a member of the Báihǔ bāngpài, White Tiger Clan, one of the main triads of Seattle. Kwu Cho-Jao used to be one of the many members of the clan. He joined the gang early in his life, but rose in the ranks fast. His great driving skills made him to serve as driver to the mountain master, Yaong Qu-Ying. Seeing his rise in ranks as a threat, other lieutenants organized his downfall. They planted false proof of Kwu dealing with a rival gang and made it known to the master. Response was immediate and he sentenced Kwu to death by the five thunderbolts, as prescribed in the 36 oaths. Through shrewd argumentation and the lack of solid proof against him, Kwu was able to convince the master to banish him from the gang instead.

Having lost his family and work, Kwu searched for a place that would accept him. Steelhead was not the obvious choice, but the mismatched band of mercenaries reminded him of himself in an odd way and quickly enough, he found himself working there full time as a wheel man and soldier.

Between assignments, Kwu still searches for proof of the treachery he was victim. Not to join back with the White Tiger Clan, a broken oath being impossible to mend, but to regain his honor as a true member of the underworld and to enact bloody revenge on the traitors.
Probably a bit too late, but I'm REALLY interested.
I'm currently DMing "The Devotees", on this forum and have DMed a IRL game for a few months.
However, I've never managed to play in an actual game and this saddens me a lot...

So yeah, really interested.
You wake up. The familiar cold steel of a reanimation table is the first thing you can feel. As your mind starts up slowly, you remember: farcast, Legba, Timoti, firewall.
[Continuity Test: WIL x3, +10]
You start to feel your new body. Feels like an exalt/bouncer, but you are still too groggy to know properly.
A man in a bouncer morph looks at you: "Welcome to the shithole that is Legba! I found you a standard bouncer, hopefully you like it and can get me off this place faster."
You move your hand, unfamiliar fingers respond.
You look at your feet and move your prehensible toes. So far, so good, except for a few scars you were never there to get and the odd tattoo you don't remember. Seems good enough.
Doesn't feel like your hand, the feeling is strange no matter how many times you experience it.
[Integration Test: SOM x3 (No morph bonuses), +10]
[Alienation Test: INT x3, +10]

[Please link dice rolls in your post, thanks!]
[This only applies to Ruby and Jozz Sleeman]

"Firewall challenge/authenticate code received; Pinging back; Secure connection confirmed."

Your muse pops up on your AR display:
"Heads up, we have a new firewall communication! It's coming from a certain "Pyrrhos", claim's he's a proxy in charge of Nine Lives operations. I'll just overlay the comm. feed on your AR's so you can see..."

You see a man clad in what seems to be a pure white toga, sleeved in an exalt of old Greek genotype. He sits in a white marble room, looking at you.
"Khai're sentinel, welcome to my spíti. I contact you today for a job I need you to do. A group of two sentinels are currently on Legba, Nine Lives' headquarters, to investigate a possible X-Threat. They used to be three, but they lost an A.G.I. sentinel in a yet non-explained way. I find that they are now lacking in effectiveness due to their low numbers."

"I have arranged for safe farcast to Legba via Amaru Timoti, Firewall's deep infiltrator into Nine Lives operations. He is a high ranked supervisor of the resleeving facilities and will therefore keep your egos safe from forknapping and will sleeve you in a morph of your choice once you arrive."

"You are to make contact with the two sentinels, Z0ey and Zhi Pan, upon arrival on station and assist them with solving this situation. I will shortly send you a info packet with what the team has discovered so far. Failure is not an option as Nine Lives' underground network being infected could mean quasi-instantaneous and total contamination of transhumanity. Kalí̱ týchi̱, sentinels."

The feed cuts off.

"Well that was fast, the info pack is already here." Says your muse.
[See the info packet in the OOC section]

"Pyrrhos has arranged for our farcasting, we just need to get to the facility. He says to take care of any business fast as the other sentinels might need help fast."
[Here's the "little" info packet I told you guys about.
Don't worry new players, this is a lot of info, I know. I'll start the game by briefing you guys on what happened so far.]
[I'll keep this updated as you guys find new info so make sure to check back]

First DM post probably tomorrow, I'll have to recheck the IRC logs to get a feel for where we left off.
[Message to all newcomers: In case you wanted to join... Sorry, I have already the maximum number of players I want to have in a game. Still, you can PM me and if there is an opening, I'll be sure to message you!]

Hey there people!

This should be rather more convenient than infrequent IRC meetings.
No fixed post rate, but try to stay active or post an OOC message if you can't be there for a while.

I found this nifty little site for tracking dice rolls (http://orokos.com/roll/). If anyone has a better idea, do share. I'm new to P-b-P gaming.
You can link rolls like this so it's pretty convenient:
Fucking up the PC's plans: 96
Uhhhhhhhh, let's hope Ellegua rolls lower.

I also found http://www.myth-weavers.com for keeping track of character sheets online, Could be rather convenient.

So yeah, still learning the ropes, but this should be pretty good!

AerisFang here,

I'm an Eclipse Phase DM. We just moved our game from IRC to Play-by-Post since our schedule is impossible to mesh.
I might be looking for new players down the line so drop me a PM if you're interested!

Uhhh yeah, that's pretty much it!
