In Depth Appearance:

Standing just under his father, at 6’1”, Ty is rather tall, with short black hair and icy blue eyes. He dresses in shirts that are loud and covered in graphics, jeans that cost more than your car, and shoes that cost more than your house. He has an expensive pair of Oakley’s sunglasses that he’s almost always wearing(including inside and at night), and on the few occasions that he isn’t wearing them, they hang from the collar of his shirt. He has a different baseball cap for almost every team in the United States, and a few for record labels he’s fond of.

Ty is very expressive, often responding to questions or comments with his facial expressions rather than replying with words. His hands move a lot when he talks, and he almost always maintains eye contact with whoever he’s speaking with. There are often little smirks and other suggestive motions when he’s talking to a ladyfriend. He’s very good at moving his eyebrows around, perhaps because of genetics, perhaps because he spent 79898574398574397432648739215907 minutes practicing in front of the mirror. Who knows? Not you.

Ty is an expressive young man. He prefers to use gestures and facial expressions to show how he feels about things, rather than telling how he feels. As a result, a lot of people don’t know what the fuck he means or what he wants or what he’s saying. He can be confusing at times as a result, but… he doesn’t give a shit.

About anyone or anything, other than himself. He’s self-entitled, on an incredibly short fuse, and extremely egotistical. He knows he’s good, at everything he does, or at least he truly believes he is. His results are usually alright, but his methods can be… abhorrent, from time-to-time. He has a lot of raw potential, but it’s unhoned and will likely remain such unless he gets some kind of motivation to mold into something… less shitty.

For now, though, he’s a young man. He hates the world, and the world hates him, as far as he’s concerned. He’s come to the conclusion that life sucks, and the only good that’s gonna come out of it is sticking it in nice butts. And in that respect, he does a pretty good job for himself. Girls are pretty easy at parties, drugs and alcohol are excellent inhibition lowers.

In most situations, he’s pretty brave, with only a few things really bringing fear out of him. He’s too concerned with winning(or changing) the game of life to care about being afraid. The only things that really scare him are the things that can take him out of the game: his father, his grandfather, and the military academy they both attended as children(although at this point, Ty would be one of the older ones.)

History:

Maybe, if his mother wasn’t around, Ty would be a different person. Maybe, if his mother didn’t keep his father from disciplining him, Ty wouldn’t be a prick. Maybe, if his mother wasn’t around, Ty wouldn’t be in a bad crowd. Maybe, if his mother wasn’t around, Ty wouldn’t have been arrested for possession with intent to sell. Maybe, if his mother wasn’t around to baby him, Ty’s father wouldn’t have had to call in almost every favor owed to him to get his stupid son’s record cleaned. Maybe, if Ty wasn’t such a disrespectful prick, he wouldn’t be on the plane, going to stay at his aunt and uncle’s place. Maybe, if he wasn’t such an idiot, Ty would be sitting at home, smoking weed and fucking his porn star girlfriend.

But that isn’t the case. All of those things are what happened, and Ty is on the plane.

Born in New York to a military family, Ty grew up in the fast and ruthless city, with his father overseas and not around to make sure he grew up right, Ty fell into this bad crowd and that bad crowd, he did this drug and that drug. He sold pills to this kid and that kid and just generally did what he wanted. Until his grandfather stepped in, at his father’s request. Then it became a little harder, and Ty had to be more careful or else he could see the blood on the walls and he’d be sent to the military academy, just like his father always threatened over the phone.

The threat had never felt closer to reality than when his grandfather showed up. His mother didn’t really like it, and helped Ty sort of continue to do what he wanted, and he did continue to do what he wanted.

Until he got caught. Then things got very bad. His father came home for this one and beat the trash out of him, giving him a reason to wear those sunglasses. Over a decade of discipline in four hours. It wasn’t a pretty sight, Ty had barely been able to get a hit in edgewise. After he finished, Ty’s father said that he simply didn’t want to deal with him and that he was being sent to the west coast to live with his… cousin, or something, nobody was really very clear on the relationship; only a name: Alyssa Green.

Ty couldn’t be less excited, as everything he knew became a dot on the ground.

Watching the guy offer his condolences to Caesar made Meg feel guilty. She knew she should've been the first to help out, to take over. It was the least she could do for Caesar and Alicia both. It pained her to see Caesar - the Mexican badass look so broken. It was something she never expected to see, not from Caesar.

Not yet anyway.

If Alicia was killed, what did that mean for the rest of thee Newnan group? For her friends? Alicia was strong, she could handle shit on her own. But Meg couldn't. Sid couldn't either - at least Meg could keep fighting and delay her eventual death, but Sid couldn't even do that. What about Maria? Or Leann?

It was the look on Caesar's face that scared Meg the most. Gone was the broken, old man. In was a rage fuelled monster. Caesar was off, killing the dead that was swarming the small group, leaving her and the new kid by the truck. Turning to him, she ordered "Need you to get on the back and make sure she's not stolen by the trucks. Unlike Swiper, the dead aren't going to return her if you wish them away. Shoot the bastards if they get too close." Meg then hopped inside, taking the driver's seat once more and starting up the truck.

While Caesar was clearing out the path ahead, Meg drove the truck (and it's inhabitants) towards safety through the main road. It wasn't long before Meg could see the tell tale silhouettes of others ahead on the path to the infirmary. She could recognise two faces: of Maria and Ash. Meg let a sigh of relief, to see two friends of hers safe, along with two new survivors to help out with the hell-hole they've wandered into.

Well shit, the doc was snappy. Sid couldn't blame her of course, she was the one with the gunshot wound between the two of them. She had every right to be snappy. Instead, he swallowed his pride (or what little was left of it) to head over to the fridge. Grabbing the bags of blood in his hands, he shivered at the thought of shoving them down his pants. There was no fucking way this was normal. Couldn't you just microwave the bags?

...oh wait. It's blood. You can't microwave blood.

Hell, you can't microwave blood in the fucking apocalypse.

Sidd quickly shoved the two cold bags down his trousers, his body chilling suddenly as he let out a grunt. "Definitely would've preferred the microwave idea." He muttered to himself under his breath before grabbing the transfusion kit nearby and bringing it over to the snappy doc.

He really wished someone would come to help.

Preferably someone with a working microwave.
