I think there are far more important things to worry about than people calling their characters "muses".

Caleb's outfit | Krista's outfit

"Are not!"

"Are too!"

"Are not!"

"Kris, you know I love you and we both know that you're the smart one but damn you don't know a thing about video games!" Caleb glanced over at the red head pouting in the passenger side, who was refusing to look over at him with her arms crossed against her chest - like a complete child.

The reason for such an attitude? They were discussing Assassin's Creed, or more specifically, who was the best Assassin of the series. Krista's points would've been a lot more valid if... well, she played past the third game. Caleb let out another laugh as Krista let out a loud, "hmph!" after being out-talked. This was usually how their conversations would go: after one banter they'd move onto the next, and while sometimes it would look heated it was anything but.

Hell, just before their debate about the best Assassin out of the series, they were arguing about the best juice box packaging. Yeah, definitely nothing bad.

"Are you sure you took the right way? The map says--" Krista closed her mouth as the car turned around the corner to reveal the opened gates into the slowly bustling camp site. Caleb manoeuvred inside, carefully parking beside another car before switching off the engine and looking over at Krista once again. He was glad to see the excitement on Krista's face rather than a worried, stressed look like from last night.

Caleb knew that Krista wasn't as comfortable in socialising as he was (well, now anyway). It didn't help that Caleb's been going to the camp since the age of fourteen, knowing many of the kids and staff almost like family unlike the redhead beside him. Giving her shoulder a soft pat of comfort (and getting a grateful smile in return), Caleb stepped out of the car to stretch his tired limbs.

Krista, meanwhile remained in the car to look over at some of the other people - some already gathered around and chatting as if they hadn't just not seen each other in a year. They looked comfortable, wanted, and Krista wondered whether she would even be welcome in such a close-knit camp. It didn't help that this would be Caleb's last year at camp, him moving onto college the following year and moving on with his life.

Away from her.

Part of her knew that this was Caleb's way of trying to get Krista to find more people to enjoy herself with, in the same fashion that Caleb was able to open up to others years prior. She knew he wanted her to be able to find something in this camp that would bring her out of her shell, and that was something Krista wasn't so sure about. Krista wasn't shy per say, too focused on her education to interact with other human beings were more like it. A rattling at the window startled the redhead out of her thoughts, her sunglasses slipping from the top of her hair down into her lap as she stared up at Caleb's goofy grin, realising he had been beckoning her to come outside this entire time.

She climbed out, apologising as Caleb brushed off her words with a flick of his hand. "If you reall' wanna help me, take your own bag into reception."

Another hmph later, the two New York buddies dragged their luggage into reception, standing in line as they waited to check-in. Their turn came a few minutes later and soon enough, Caleb Brady and Krista Hale were officially a part of Camp Liberty for the summer. Caleb pointed Krista towards the directions of the Purple halls, giving her a small, brief tour to and from the main points of camp (ie. the food hall, the media room, her cabin and his cabin if she got lost) before making his way towards his own cabin to unpack his stuff.

It was truly commendable how Ash was taking all of this. The Newnan breach, the zombnado, Leann's demise. Even Maria, for that matter looked cool as a cucumber before she had to go close up the windows. It made Meghna feel like she was the weak one when instead she should've found it motivational that if others could be strong, she should too, but Meg was still hurting and there was no way she could push it away like the Soldier Ash beside her.

Seeing the weird cowgirl climb the gurney, it almost made Meg raise her eyebrow in complete disbelief. Really? CrowdGurney surfing, here? It was a stupid idea, to say the least, but it was the only one they had. If little miss crazy was willing to risk an arm or two for the Newnanians despite being new, then she would surely earn both Meg's and many others' respect.

Nodding at Ash's orders, Meg reached over to her pocket to feel for the pick-up truck's keys that she had barely shoved in before entering the building. She reached down, almost kneeling to pull down her boots and pull out the still covered hunting knife. Bows weren't a good tactic unless you either had a fuck ton of space, or you were Hawkeye, both of which Meg didn't have (or was). With the blade in one hand, and the keys in the other, she stood behind Ash, ready to fight.

"You ain't no mere Weapon Delivery Boy. You a solid Weapon Delivery MAN. An' I mean that." How sweet. He looked out around him, looking at the damned town and the stumbling walkers creep around across every street he was so familiar with. The same streets that used to be safe and filled with walking humans with no interest in eating other walking humans.

Siddharth felt as useful as a twig standing beside James as the familiar sounds of Ash's orders about the loose prisoner came up to the two at the clocktower. He didn't even have any blades, unless the pencil in his pocket counted - but what good would it do from all the way up here? Unless he was willing to play darts with the walker's eyes, pencils weren't going to help Sidd out this time.

Hi!

Hope you don't mind me posting here. Was just wondering how active this role-play still is? Looking to join a few, thanks guys!

Definitely open! We're always open for fresh meat new faces! :)
@Salrynn Definitely. By the time Anya even gets to the goat the whole hotel will come crashing down, so send help!
Note to self: don't try to be funny when on cold medication.

Location - Med school → Best Exotic Hotel
Interacting with - Mishti (NPC) ft. goat

There wasn't much to Ananya's day. She arrived, sat down and was surrounded by her small group of friends all within the span of half hour. The classroom was barely filled, it being too early for many to arrive. There was still almost an hour for class to start, this hour usually spent by the medical students to simply relax and get into the zone - or to nap and catch up on sleep like some of the other students hanging around the back seats.

That hour, Anya spent talking to her closest friend, Mishti, in bengali. Mishti was also around from the same area of Calcutta, the two girls immediately drawn to each other from the beginning of the year and stuck to each other ever since. It was nice to have someone to talk to, Anya thought. Even back at the hotel, though her Hindi was still great but Bengali was her true mother-tongue, the language to make her feel at home. The language she'd grown up speaking.

And now, she had someone to share that love of language with. And not in the form of a lanky, dorky hotel owner that may or may not be known as Desh to some. It wasn't that Anya didn't want to speak to him, but it was how that she didn't know. If she could barely speak to Natasha (ignoring the obvious language differences) - someone who's pretty much her best friend out of the rag-tag group in the hotel, then how was she supposed to talk to someone she liked. A lot?

It didn't matter anyway, as the lecturer arrived to save Ananya from frying her mind too early in the morning. Notes were taken, questions were answered and the queasy students... well. Let's not get to that, shall we?

After waving goodbye to Mishti and turning the corner towards the Best Exotic, Anya was not surprised to see a goat simply grazing about the garbage as if it were hoping to find some sort of treasure. Her stomach grumbled - don't get the wrong idea, she skipped breakfast, she's not hungry because of the goat! - and an idea came up in the young girl's mind. Some members of the hotel were non-vegetarian, and not too long ago did Anya buy a recipe book filled with non-vegetarian dishes, truly Rajasthani stye.

Making sure that her bag was hung tightly across her body, she tied up her dupatta to ensure the goat wouldn't think of her scarf as a meal before she began approaching it carefully. There was no way she could capture the meal by herself, but what if she lured it inside? Desh, or any other guests inside could possibly help, right?

...right?

Well, you certainly need to hope so, because now there's a fucking goat inside the hotel, and it's gone wild. Hide yo' food, hide yo' glasses because there's a goat coming to fuck shit up.

@Lady Amalthea If Anya was more comical, she would've chased the goat screaming

"DINNER!!!!"

or maybe that's exactly what's going to happen I'm typing up my post right now just because I want this
@Salrynn @Charnobylisk @Universorum @POOHEAD189 @Aewin

Okay, quick update. Mine and @Xtreme's colab will be covering several hours of time. So feel free to move forward some in your post. Uni, if you want yo can push Murphy and Owen forward to the dealership.

Feel free to do stuff. If someone wants to add in npcs and such, go for it. Water is now working on 1st and 2nd floors.

Couple of characters have birthdays in August, so if anyone is close friends with that character, feel free to start planning a birthday deal for them.

Heck if you want a goat to suddenly run through the hotel causing havoc, go for it! Lol Like I said, have fun with this.

A goat is now running through the hotel.

You've doomed us all by giving me this power, Lady.
