Danica shrugged slightly as she stepped between the two soldiers and looked at each one of them in turn. "Alright boys, let's play nice. We got bigger problems than pointing weapons at each other," she said quickly as she stood there. Sean deciding to pipe in right then.

"Damn it Lass, I won't have any teeth left at this rate by the end of the day!" he snapped before spitting another tooth out onto the ground. Danica just rolled her eyes slightly as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"Well if you'd stop screaming like some teeny bopper seeing Justin Beiber I'd stop hitting you," she said in a snarky voice as she turned to look at Armend. "I am going to end up tripping him the first hoard we come across."

"You startled us was all, ain't exactly your typical walk in the park we're taking right now ya know," she said looking back over at Otis.
Danica turned quickly and raised her gun, perking a brow slightly at the sight of the man in front of her. Taking a step but staying slightly back of Armend. Sean, instinctively screamed once again like a little girl and dropped his tripod as his hands shot up in the air. "Don't shoot!" He screamed in a thick Irish accent. Danica just shook her head as she lowered her weapon when the man spoke, holding up a single finger as she took a step back and spin hook kicked Sean to the jaw sending him flying to the ground.

"One more fucking scream from ya and I'm going to hog tie y'alls ass to that tree and leave ya for the critters!" she snapped in a thick southern drawl before turning back around and looking at the newest arrival. "Yeah, American, lower that damned thing Soldier," she said before nudging Armend. "It's okay, G.I.Joe," she said motioning over towards Otis.

"No clue how to get to the base, could give you directions to Fort Benning though," she said as she pointed both east and west. "Might be a trek though."
Altenia Tower

Craig listened to Ailens words and fell off the edge of his bed to the floor, surprised by the sudden change. It wasn’t what he was trying to get at, not at all. What he was trying to get Ailen to realize that was that people die, no matter what we do and there is nothing we can do about it; that we have to take the bad with the good and enjoy those moments of happiness while we have them. Sighing deeply he looked up and stared blankly at the ceiling. He figured there wasn’t much he could say right then to make him understand. Maybe sometime on Earth would help him, at least make him see that a short time around someone you cared about was better than no time.

”I will but you aren’t transferred yet, Silvia has final say,” was all he could think to say. Rising from his place he looked out the window and saw the storm raging on, hoping that Silvia was alright but locked in the mines, what chance did she have? ”When Srath contact me, I will let you know, until then, continue as normal,” he said as he stepped out his doors and made his way to Silvias room. He used his override and entered. Searching for what seemed forever but found nothing. Did she have it on her? If so, it would complicate matters. Sighing he walked back out and secured the door before checking that Tristan was still under lock and guard before making his way to the docks to see if he could find Srath.

The Safe Room Of The Resistance

“Hurry!” Silvia screamed as she felt her strength giving away quickly, she didn’t know how much of the cave she was holding up but it felt worse than catching a transport without crystal aide. The blood had quickly gone from drops to a steady trickle as she gasped for breath; her eyes swirling like the storm above and her mind feeling like it was being ripped apart by the increased sounds of the crystal song. Sweat dripping from her body as her muscles burned she began to scream in agony. It was cut short as she felt Jun’Kramas hands on her and pulling her out of place in midair.

“No!” she tried to say but nothing came out as she was flung into the Resistance Room and hit the ground hard, rolling a few times in the dirt before she ended up sprawled out on her chest with her head buried in the dirt. Slowly she lifted her head; her face smeared with her own blood and the dirt of the mines as she looked over and saw the Jun’Krama holding the door closed while the mine shook around them. He had just saved her life, risked his own. What the hell was he thinking? If she had had any strength left she would have asked but her mind was still swimming from the hum of the crystals and her body was fatigued from the entire ordeal.

Slowly she brought her knees in and rested her forehead on the cool ground, her body still shaking uncontrollably as her arms wrapped around her waist. She was in agony, both mentally and physically. The only salvation was that the room was indeed cutting back on the song of the crystals. It still ripped through her but it was manageable for now. Coughing slightly, blood came from her mouth and her tear ducts. She had done a number on herself, it was completely self-inflicted but she had done it out of reflex to give him a chance. She hadn’t once thought she was going to survive the ordeal and the last thing she had expected was him coming to her rescue.

Weakly her head turned as she rested her cheek in the dirt, still holding herself and trembling as she heard him laughing, wondering what was so funny but she didn’t have the strength to ask. As he finally introduced himself and gave her his true name she was able to manage a small smile. “Karras,” she whispered. “Thank you,” she forced out before she rolled onto her back and stared towards the ceiling, seeing it was dented from the weight of the collapsing mine and groaned deeply. Had they just truly saved each other or just given themselves an open grave instead of one under crushed earth.

Silvias eyes slowly drifted close as she rested her hands in the cool dust on the ground, trying to regain her strength but it would not come for a while. It was one thing to do smaller shields, to move a person or even a ship with the aid of her crystal but what she had done would have been taxing under the best circumstances. Her chest rose and fell slowly with each breath she forced into her lungs, her muscles still burning and her mind was aching. She hoped she didn’t have to attempt that again anytime soon. She wished the lights were out so Karras couldn’t see her weakened like this but the room had its own separate generators and was self-contained; so there she lay in her weakened and bloodied state for him to see.

Outside The Mines Of Altenia

Lou and Marx kept screaming for Jeremiah to hurry up and get in the vehicle, but it seemed he had other plans. They didn’t know what he was up to but whatever it was seemed important to the engineer. After a few moments he came barreling towards them and landed in the open seat. Lou didn’t wait any longer and pushed the vehicle as hard as he could as it spun around and made a break away from the front of the mine. It wasn’t a moment too soon as another bolt of lightning hit the face of the mine and it all came tumbling down to the ground, there was nothing left but rocks and debris.

Thankfully everyone had seemed to get clear of the path of the falling rock but not by much, there were a few injuries that the other Moles were grabbing and tossing into other vehicles. Marx turned around in his seat and watched it happen, his eyes widening as he sat there in disbelief. “Sil….” was all he managed to say as he watched the collapse; there was nothing he could do at that point. The storm was raging on.

“Moles to Altenia Tower…..We just lost the mine….” Lou said through his com to the Tower. “Heading in, one known dead, several injuries, will be there shortly. Pulling out until the storm passes,” he said before cutting the com. Gwen leaned back in her seat and covered her face with her hands unable to say anything.
Oh, sorry, a few posts back in there somewhere Craig left a message for Srath to contact him, that he needed to talk to him. Was just reputting it out there.

As far as the site goes, the glitchness comes and goes.
Sean looked over towards Armend slightly surprised, not so much that he was speaking to him but just that anyone made a noise period. Jumping slightly he nodded. "Yeah....I'm Danicas photographer," he said nervously before he kept walking, turning around quickly and constantly. Danica face palmed as she watched his antics and groaned inwardly.

"Yeah, my fearless photographer," she grumbled as she let her hand drop and rolled her eyes before looking back over towards Armend. "And yes, I'm a climber and base jumper," she said as she walked next to him. "Sean takes pictures of my climbing and jumping for a magazine I work for," she said before she let her words trail of and it dawned on her with everything going on she probably wasn't going to be needed anymore. That was unless the travel magazine wanted an article on the best places to make camp off the side of a cliff to avoid Zombies at night. "Well, I guess at this point it would be better to say, used to work for."

Danica took a moment and reached into her hoodie pocket and pulled out her cell phone, trying to make a call back to the states but the lines all seemed to be busy. "Great... just great. Doubt I can even update my facebook status right now or check in," she said with a laugh before sticking her phone back in her pocket. "I bet the facebook feeds are worse than during election time right now. Hey, I wonder what instagram looks like right now," she said as she kept laughing.
Okay, we are roughly at 3 pm Tower Time right now

Jeremiah - Get your ass out of there, lol
Srath - Craig is waiting on contact from you when you can. He has a mission
Ailen - Dealing with Twins and going Gollum
Jun'Krama - Dude, time to be He-man, lol
Gaia - Prep yourself, you might have crap hit the fan in the infirmary soon
Ashala - Docks are running well, things are calm in your department right now

Over all - Storm is beginning to roll in over the Mines - so that means a sonic event in the mines is beginning. It will not effect those in the Tower. (For now)
Outside the Mines of Altenia

Clive looked around from on top of the Mines from his scans and to the sky, cringing slightly before he grabbed the rest of the Moles attention and pointed to the skies. They nodded and one by one they leapt off the edge of the cliff and jumped, falling down towards the ground far below, various colors of telekinetic shields forming at their feet as it slowed their decent until they landed at the base of the mine entrance.

“All talents clear out! Incoming!” Clive screamed. Lou whipped around and looked up. “Get the hell out of the entrance of the mine talents!” he bellowed as he grabbed Gwens arms and threw her into one of the Mole Vehicles. “Brax’Na, back out now if you value your lives!” he added asw he climbed in and the rest of the Talents that had been helping, including Marx quickly took note of what was going on and made a break for it.

The Brax’Na group was confused at first but one that had worked the mines before knew what was going on. “Brax’Na, back!” he yelled and they followed his orders as they began to run from the mines. A storm was rolling in and for the mines it meant one thing, a sonic episode.

“What about Silvia and Jun’Krama?” Marx yelled.

“Nothing we can do now, we will have to wait for the storm to pass otherwise we are all screwed,” Gwen yelled back. “We don’t know how many crystals are exposed right now,” she added as she watched the first lightning strike hit the top of the cliff where the mine was dug into. “Oh god….”

“Gwen, the room, is it a safe spot?” Marx asked quickly. Gwen snapped around and nodded.

“Yes, yes it is. If they can get to it, it is shielded from storms. It wouldn’t protect them fully but it would take the edge off.”

“Enough to keep Sil from being driven mad?”

“I… I don’t know,” Gwen admitted as she sat there.

“Jeremiah! Get the hell out of there!!!” Marx screamed as Lou waited for him to catch up before they pulled out. Even for non talents the situation was dangerous. Cave in were common during storms and with the mine as damaged as it was now, it could cause a collapse of the entire cliff face.

Altenia Tower

Craig rubbed his eyes some as he got himself something to drink to try to stay awake. ”Ailen… Silvia built Marxs leg and he lives just fine without her around to repair it; even if you did stay, and everything worked out in the end. You’re race outlives Earthlings. She will die long before you, whether it is war or old age. You have to learn to take care of this yourself. As far as your transfer goes, Earth would be the best point because they have worked with the technology Silvia uses and dealt with Marxs leg, so if something did happen they would be the best equipped to handle it.” Craig interjected.

”She did say in the O.R. that she would write a manual for it, granted now that will depend on whether or not she ever gets out of the mines.” Craig said as he got an alarm in his quarters for an upcoming storm. Looking over at the monitor he groaned deeply as he looked over the maps that were popping up. ”Ailen, you seeing this in the Mor? This is not going to be good.”

Craig pushed away from his desk and stood up, pacing the room slowly. If those storms hit and there were too many exposed crystals all this arguing wouldn’t matter. If she died in the mines due to another collapse or was driven mad by the song it was over. He hoped at least if the worst case scenario came about that what they had on Tristan now was enough to at least still get him transferred off world but since the orignals had been destroyed and he didn’t know where Silvia placed the crystal drive copy they could end up more screwed now than before she arrived.

Sitting down on the edge of his bed he groaned deeply at this thought. He had to get Tristan off world, no matter what. He just hoped that Srath would contact him soon, he needed some smuggler insight into this. Someone that wasn’t so close to everything going on and one that was good at getting things on and off world undetected.

Deep in the Mines

Silvia perked a brow at Jun’Kramas question about if there was anyone else that was as big a risk taker as she was. “No, but I’m different,” she muttered, not knowing how true her statement was. “Actually wasn’t looking for a specific answer, just an answer,” she said as she continued walking. “Ailen happy?” she said as she spun around and looked at him completely confused. “He seemed happy?” she asked as she tilted her head to the side. “He seems to be a wreck around me. I had him transferred off my shift onto the Twins,” she said with a sigh as she turned back around and began making her way towards the Resistance Room. She felt of all people he deserved to know the truth to why she was there and since he wasn’t not GTC she had more faith in him than others.

“He seems lost and depressed around me. If that is the effect on him, he is better off away from me. He has been through far too much on this forsaken chunk of rock as it is,” she snapped as she continued to walk and tried to push the thought from her mind. Right now, as selfish as it was, she had to put herself and the Jun’Krama first and find a way to get them out of there. She hoped the Resistance Room would have a map of what all was dug out down there. She couldn’t get in earlier but she hadn’t be able to breath either. If it came down to it she would have to use her abilities to open the door.

At his words of stripping down she smirked slightly. “Yes, I guess you could but what would happen if I turned out to be as bad as all the rest,” she said as she took a few more steps. “I don’t think it would be good for the Brax’Na to have two great leaders taken out by; what was she called? A Chaos Goddess?” she asked rhetorically. As they reached the door, Silvia froze. “Oh god,” she said as she began to feel something from above them.

“Get down!” she screamed as suddenly her hands erupted with light and pushed him into the dirt, Silvia throwing herself over him but she seemed to levitate over him as a telekinetic shield formed the wide of the mine shaft and was hit by falling rock and debris; holding it back as her eyes glazed over but the strain in her features was evident, sweat forming over her exposed skin as her body trembled. “Door, the door,” she said weakly. “Get it open, get in there,” she said as her body convulsed under the effort of holding the cave back from crushing them.
The crystals exposed throughout the mine were starting to hum like a bee hive and the song was becoming stronger and stronger. Silvias nose and ears began to slowly drip blood as she held her position. She was a few feet above the Jun’Krama at this point, the shield a good five feet above her. She wouldn’t be able to hold it long but she just hoped she could long enough for him to get the door open and get inside. It had been damaged somewhat from the previous shifts in the mine, she or another talent wouldn’t have been able to open it but she hoped the Jun’Krama was strong enough to pull it open so he could get in and pull it back shut. At least in there he would be safe for a bit.
Danica stayed close to Armend as they walked; trying to make their way to this compound that was spoken of. As they mentioned watching a movie Danica thought back to all those Zombie movies and t.v. shows she had watched. “Yeah, well get that movie in quick. If we learned anything power goes quickly, as does cell usage, food, gas and ammo. We might have a short time of comfort locked up somewhere but we are going to need to form a more long term plan,” she said as she continued to walk.

When she saw Yukimo get injured she sighed slightly. “When we get to the compound, please let me look at that,” she said as she looked over to Yukimo and Zomura. “Last thing we need is you not to be able to run if it comes to that, which if the shows are any indication you will need to run and a lot. Rule one: Cardio,” she said thinking back to Zombieland and then chuckled to herself thinking of her ice hammer to the Zombies skull earlier. “Hrm, maybe Zombie Kill of the day?” she said with a laugh.
Ramara

Ramara encouraged her horse forward as they continued down the road, pulling the hood of her mantle back as the moon came out. There was no need to shield herself from the sun at this point anymore. When the spear hit the bandit though, all semblance of peace was shattered; tightening one hand on the reigns of her steed as her other hand grabbed a dagger and she was suddenly crouching with her feet in the saddle to get a better vantage point to watch the scene unfold before her. Slowly she stood up fully, one hand on the reigns as she stood there as stone; perking a brow a bit at the sight before her.

“That was different,” she said before shrugging and moving her feet as she slowly fell back into place in her saddle; adjusting herself as she grabbed the reigns with her other hand and pushed forward once again as they followed the Orc. “Perhaps we are merely being a less boisterous version of the young corsair running to the were right now,” she quipped with a smirk playing on her lips.

Regalia

Regalia enjoyed the travel, the cooler air, the peace. It was wonderful until it was broken. Tilting her head to the side as she watched the bandit fall, her hand fell to the hilt of her blade while the other held tight to the arms wrapped around her waist. “Hold young one,” she whispered to Inyata but her eyes fell to the Warg riding Orc. Gasping slightly as she saw the other Orc claim it as his own and the death it unleashed on its own kind. Looking over to Ishmael spoke to it and then it leading them off her hand fell from her blade. “Well this is an interesting turn of events,” she said before looking towards Ramara as she slid back into her saddle.

“Very different,” she commented towards Ramara as she nudged her horse forward. “Stay on your guard little one,” she cautioned as they rode, following the Orc to wherever he was bent on taking them.
Sana looked over to Hugh and forced a smile on her lips as she reached over and caressed his cheek gently. “We’ll get through this,” she said softly; leaning in and brushing her lips to his, a content sigh escaping her lips into the kiss. “I know this isn’t what you wanted,” she said in a caring voice as she broke the kiss and gazed up to him. “And yet if you hadn’t come along we would not be here together and I would very likely have been sacrificed,” she said as she cupped his face in her hands, her fingers delicately running along his jaw line. “You’re the reason I still draw breath, I wouldn’t want another to stand by my side through this,” she added as she fingers slowly slipped from his features.

“I am going to see if I can find some more arrows for the road ahead,” she said with a smile before she hopped out of the back of the wagon and adjusted the hood of her mantle before making her way into the encampment; in search of supplies. She wasn’t exactly sure where to go or who to ask so she wandered slowly; taking in the sights and sounds. She felt out of place there, a gypsy was never one to blend into the surroundings of such a group of people.

As she walked she thought about what all Hugh had been through in his life. She wondered if she was being unfair to him wanting him to be along with her and the rest. Part of her wished she could send him away to safety so he would not have to face another possible travesty but what she had said was true. Out of them all, some more powerful than others, she would choose no other to have by her side than him. No one else gave her the sense of safety that he did and no other made her want to fight harder than him.

Sana stopped wandering as she spotted one of the members of the encampment with a bow slung to his back with similar markings that was on the bow her sister had bribed the elves to make her so long ago. It was not exact of course and his bow was far longer than hers but it was a start. Walking over to him she cleared her throat. "Would you by chance know where I could find another quiver of arrows for this?" she asked as she unslung the bow from her back.
