Camyllia Adkins and Oppal
Camyllia panted coming to a stop looking back at the little boy who had fallen behind a bit.
"C'mon," She says giving him a light push.
"Camy, I can't I am so tired." The little boy says falling to his knees,"Can't we rest? At least for a little?"
The teen sighs nodding,"Alright." She says this the boy lets out a cheer. Camyllia shakes her letting out a chuckle she walks to a truck pulling out the already hanging door causing it to fall."Shit."
"Awe Camy said a potty word!" The boy says with a tired laugh.
"Oh shut it Oppal before I put Blitz on ya,"She jokes while looking around to see if any walkers were coming. None...good.
A bark got the teens attention her dog came over to her. Blitz rubbed onto the teens leg letting out a whimper."I know Blitz. I miss 'im ta but he woul'nt want me cryin' an' whinnin'." Camyllia says placing a hand on Blitz head.
"Camy?" Oppals voice has the girl looking back at the young boy who looked down right sleepy. She can't blame him though she had pushed him to walk for a day and night without rest trying to get to a school that may not even be there. With a sigh she goes over to the boy and picks him up letting him cuddle to her despite the heat. "I'm hungry" He whimpers.
"I know bud. I'm sorry,"Camyllia says not wanting to say they don't have any food."But 'ey, as soon as I find a place fer ya ta stay so I can go scavengin'." She says walking down the road. Blitz walking beside them keeping guard.
After a bit of walking she comes to a stop looking at a building not far and a smile came to her face. It was the highschool, never had she thought seeing a school would make her so happy. Quickly and as quietly as possible she jogs to the fence seeing the guards. Camyllia didn't know weather or not the guards would shoot on sight or what so she hid Oppal by a car. She whistles to Blitz and the dog came over.
"If anythang happens protect 'im got it?" She whispers Blits lets out a whimper licking her cheek. Camyllia kisses the dog before standing and making her way towards the fence.
