It was interesting to watch Dani fly around them. He seemed so excited with childlike happiness and it made Aoba smile. What he found most amusing was how Dani continuously tapped him for attention when he had looked up Kuro or looked ahead to see if the town was approaching. "Oh, cool Dani. . ." Aoba mused, seeing how easily he managed maneuvering and flying. The compliment made Dani grin and continue flying about. "He's so adorable when he wants to be." The comment wasn't directed towards anyone, but it was aloud. Dani didn't hear it, but if Kuro was paying attention he would have.

As they walked through the town, Aoba eyed all the cheery people, wondering why there seemed to be so many out at the time. To be such a somber town, they had also seemed pretty chipper as well. Being such a small town, everyone practically knew enough about the other to simply have a friendly conversation. Of course, as an angel, he was happy to see them happy, but as a resident he still thought humans were peculiar. Some of them gave the familiar odd glances and turning the other way, while others simply gave polite smiles and continued moving. He had didn't even notice Kuro's disappearance while he was walking the same familiar path to the market. As he walked past a young couple sharing a moment of embrace, he bumped into Kuro as he slid back by his side. "Hm? Oh." The fallen angel simply smiled back at Kuro before following him into the supermarket.

It was much cooler and much quieter when they walked in, however, Aoba looked on the opposite side of Kuro and then behind them. "Hey. . . Dani disappeared?" Aoba scratched his head but shrugged. Kuro wasn't upset so he wouldn't worry about it. Instead, he tried to figure out what was so important about the day. "Maybe." That was all he managed before a trio of girls passed the two. It wasn't hard hearing them whisper, "Oh, he's cute." Aoba turned to look back, but they were already walking out the door giggling. The fallen angel chose to assume they were talking about Kuro, to spare himself from embarrassment.

"So. . . What exactly are we to get? You know, we should really start making lists. I used to do inventory on occasions for Doctor Fenrir. I'd make a list of supplies he had or things he needed. It helped keep things organized for the staff." As Aoba spoke, he had been intently skimming an aisle, reading off different colorful boxes of cereal. He looked up at the sign that read 'Breakfast Foods' before continuing to read through them. It had been one of the very few times the fallen angel managed to speak about his former life without feeling a pain of guilt and sadness. It could have been due to the lack of focus or even because he had gotten over it, however it wasn't clear and Aoba had already moved on down the aisle. "Hmm, do you think Dani will be okay by himself? It is pretty crowded today."
"An open space is nice." Hiro mused and looked up at the clear blue sky. Hopefully, it would be even more beautiful on their wedding day. . . Not that he was truly looking forward to it. Arranged it was though. Traditional, he was reminded constantly. So, Hironori could only accept this fact. Well, at least Akito was cute. That was fortunate for him. And, if he ever needed it, Akito was certainly going to be a good bodyguard- however people loved the Emperor. No one would want to do them harm. . . And if he could get Akito to relax, there would be plenty of things for them to do. The voice of his father snapped him from the daydream he was falling into. "Mhm, he's right. You're near due, don't worry, all of the arrangements will be taken care of." Hiro tried reassuring his stepmother as she walked off with the Emperor.

"Oh, and note dear that you simply must keep your hair up. I'd love to see all of your handsome face." She waved to the two. "I hope you are enjoying yourself Akito!" Though before he could answer, she was gone.

"What a persistent woman she is." Hironori chuckled. His medium length hair was down at the time his stepmother spoke of his hair. He sighed and smiled before running his hand through hair, pushing it back and out of his face. It didn't last though, because soon enough it fell right back into place. "Hmm. . . Now what did I plan to show you. . ." Once more, the carefree prince was in his own thoughts, attempting to figure out what to do with the soldier. "Ah! Right. The grand tour from yours truly." He gave a smile and lead Akito out and towards the much larger outdoor gardens. He had no real reason to show his betrothed such things besides the simple fact that if Akito needed some alone time, he'd have more than one place to go- that wasn't the forest.

Despite being one large garden encompassing the entire palace, each three sections seemed to be grown differently. Each section had its own story to tell, each one looked completely different yet still fit the other somehow. . . Hiro noticed it all before, and yet it was still beautiful to him. "Beautiful enough to make into a picture, huh? To bad that would take forever- so, we keep this place pretty as possible."
It didn't take his power to feel just how upset everyone had gotten in the matter of seconds. If anything, Enasi believed they should have been happy he would have stopped trying to get them to relax. But of course, he was wrong. He looked off to the side towards a vase full of flowers that Starla gave him. Those in particular were a deep red and a brilliant white color. They really were beautiful together. As each of them slipped out of the room, Enasi slowly sunk a little lower in his large and comfortable bed. It was not nearly as large as his bed in his room, but it was still comfortable enough to aid the patients. The look Harper gave him made him feel guilty, but Enasi was pretty sure he was feeling guilty as soon as they all were upset. 'Maybe I should stick to being quiet. That should solve a lot of things, eh?' The Dream Guardian had managed, without hurting himself, to scoot low enough to stare at the ceiling, but not too low where he was laying flat.

When Seishu began speaking, he involuntarily flinched towards the hurt Seishu's expression. As a guardian of dreams he wasn't suppose to cause others to hurt. He was to do the exact opposite. Reveling in his own thoughts, he almost missed Seishu's question. Breaking his silent vow, Enasi glanced over at Seishu. "As much as I like you, I don't think I should trust you with Crios' sedatives. . . No reason you can't just tell me here." His eyes trailed to the door. "And I'm sure Harper can hear, so there's no reason for anything to be repeated."

Enasi pulled one of the extra pillows over his stomach and hugged it before looking into Seishu's eyes, for once not just giving him short glances. In spite of the situation and his guilty feelings, he even gave a somewhat unreadable response. "Alright Night, tell me of my foolishness this time. It seems to have become more often lately. . . And I have to learn some way." Enasi hugged the pillow in front of him a little more and looked down at his lap, awaiting the talk they were going to have.

On the other side of the door, Harper's ears twitched a little when he heard Enasi's comment. However, that didn't make him move from his spot. "Do you think he was upset?" Inui questioned quietly. Rue shook his head and continued to hold Rasha in his arms.

"He wasn't." Rue had been around Seishu longer than Inui had, so he opted to simply trust the fairy's intuition and wait alongside them quietly.
He couldn't help but laugh lightheartedly when Kuro mentioned that the plants were adorable as sprouts. It was another thing he didn't expect from a demon. Cute baby plants. It made him smile, but he also suspected it was also Kuro's oddities rather than something many demons would think. Aoba listened carefully just as always. "Be careful and watch for bugs. Got it. Oh and also water them when it is sundown." He echoed the instructions, giving a nod to indicate his understanding. Unlike Kuro's ease with the task, Aoba moved a lot slower now that he knew he couldn't pull everything from the ground. The fallen angel wanted to be extra careful to check for bugs as well. However, that didn't stop him from watching Kuro every now and then to learn his techniques, which he tried to copy in order to move a bit faster.

Kuro managed to finish his sections first, so Aoba was more than glad to get the extra help from him. He wondered why having the animals all to himself would be such an exciting idea for Dani, considering a lot of them were still pretty scared of him. The fallen angel didn't think too much of it, trusting Dani not to do anything mischievous. And, he was well aware of his demonic energy and how it could affect the animals, especially the younger ones so Aoba was sure he'd be fine. It wasn't like they hadn't left him alone before. Though, he realized if Dani was going with them, then the animals would be alone. . . Well, they wouldn't be gone too long hopefully. The weeding took some time, but they finished it in a reasonable time nonetheless. He watched as Dani looped and twirled in the sky, watching with slight interest. That demon had to be one of the oddest he had met- which meant oddest out of three. He still wasn't sure whether to think Homura was odder than Kuro yet. . .

"Ready to go!" Aoba nodded when they were all finished, and were 100% sure of everything, which was mainly Aoba double checking everything to be absolutely sure. Their trip to town was less than quiet and uneventful with Dani, but they slipped into town unnoticed. Aoba walked out of the alley and then looked around. There seemed to be a lot more people out today than normal, and that was saying something for the small town. It made Aoba subconsciously move closer to Kuro. He was much more familiar with the demon, more than the humans around the town. "So, get stuff to restock the kitchen, right?" Aoba looked up at Kuro when he spoke. Though, even though he asked, the fallen angel was already making his way towards the store they had gone to before. It was hard to forget where it was, so Aoba took the lead, even if he was walking a tad bit slow. Dani on the otjer hand didn't want to follow them around. He wanted to wander the town himself. After all, who knew when he'd get the chance again.
Despite being such a relaxed and carefree prince, he did notice Akito revert and straighten up. Once more, he had gotten quiet just like before. The prince wasn't sure why, so he mentally back tracked his words to see if he said something of merit that would cause him to do such a thing. Unfortunately, he couldn't think of anything, so instead he decided to figure out something to get Akito's mind off of it, and to something more relaxing. Hironori tapped his chin in thought, trying to figure out what the soldier would enjoy doing. . . 'This is harder than I thought.' He stood again, gesturing for Akito to follow. 'I'll figure something out. . . I know I will.' At the time, Hiro was sort of wandering again, as if he was lost. He caught a fleeting idea for a moment, and his path changed. From wandering in a straight line, he an abrupt turn to his right.

In a quiet, open room, two older gentlemen were playing a game of Shogi intently. Hironori paused to peek into the room. Both looked up simultaneously and nodded to the prince and Akito before going back to their game. "When father is bored or wants peace and quiet, he comes down to play Shogi or Pai Sho. You can come down here too if you like. They let anyone play, and teach others. I've come down here a few times myself. I'm not the best, but I'm not the worst either." He let Akito linger in the spot before he moved on to his next idea. It wasn't much of an idea actually. It was more of Hiro showing Akito other places to run away to if he felt the need. The places were quiet and serene, though the palace never really got too loud- besides during celebrations.

"You haven't seen all of our indoor gardens, but we have two or three large ones around the palace. . . Or you can think of it as one really large Two on opposite sides and one in the back. Anyway, it's better to see them for yourself instead of me talking-" A familiar voice in the distance made him pause and quickly turn around. "And of course, we can always start on the opposite side." Though, before he could usher Akito around, he heard his stepmother call out to them.

"Boys! Come here for a moment please. You simply must help me!" With a soft sigh, Hiro turned on his heel and walked over to the Empress who was surrounded by servants aiding to her as she waddled around, and others who were helping her prepare the wedding.

"You have all of these people. What could you possibly need our help with, hm?" Hironori smiled politely and watched as she used one of them as a crutch. "You should really sit down. You're going to hurt yourself with all the walking around. . ." But his comment was brushed aside.

"Which side of the palace should we hold the wedding? East or west?"

The prince shrugged and ran fingers through his hair. "Hm, I suppose east. Less chance of someone falling into the pond. . ?" The Empress seemed to beam at the idea and nodded, pointing to one of the many around her to write that down.

It appeared they would be stuck there for some time. . .
As he finished, Seishu felt the need to say what was on everyone else's mind. In fact, he decided to speak out- just as he always did. Enasi looked away for a moment. He wasn't going to deny that he was right. . .but that didn't mean he was going to admit he was right either. Sometimes he really didn't like how unnecessarily perceptive Seishu could be. Despite being kissed, he huffed, yet refrained from crossing his arms and frowning up like a child. "Well, for one, I am still alive. And I've been all patched up. I consider that fine." Enasi gave a small smile and tapped Seishu's nose. "Optimism dear Seishu. You should try it some time." He looked down at Rue who smiled up at him and then at Rasha who inched himself near his hand to be pet again. He could feel the eyes all staring at him. Each minion clearly relieved that Seishu said something so they wouldn't have to. But, it wouldn't be enough for the guardian to point it out, Enasi would have to fix it. . .

With a rather neutral expression, he continued. "And furthermore, I am not pushing them-" He paused, finally taking the time to look at the rest of the staring eyes. "I am not pushing you all away. I just. . .think you all have much better things to do than worry about me. I can't go anywhere, and I surely don't plan to do much so there's no reason. . .to sit around in here." As he spoke, he fumbled over how to say such without sounding as if he was actually pushing them away. He didn't think he was repeating the same things he used to. At least he was talking about it. "And also," This time his gaze went over to Seishu shortly.

"I do believe, that as a guardian I can make changes without needing to consult my underlings." To this, Harper's ear twitched and he crossed his arms a little tighter, a movement that Enasi caught. "Of course I don't do such a thing, but I still don't have to." He corrected and then hugged Rue a little, in comfort. "It's a big change, yes. But there are many other things going on at the moment that need to be touched on first before minor things are dealt with." Before he could continue his spiel Crios sat up with a rather serious look. Cho had been resting an arm on his shoulder, but quietly moved it, sensing it was probably important and best not to interrupt.

"Lord Enasi, as a guardian, as an injured guardian and as the head of the medical staff it is my job to make sure you are back to your full health as soon as possible. Consequently, just as you don't want your realm rising into a panic, I and Harper agree, and therefore we have to be the ones to aid you. If another of the staff, whether they were mine or even Cho's, they would panic to see you in such a state. Gossip goes around fast. And if everyone in the realm knew of your condition they'd go into chaos. And they'd obviously blame Night for it. So, no matter how much you don't want us to worry, I will at least be here until you are healed 100%." On his face, his expression held more to than what he said, as if that hadn't been all, but he kept quiet, figuring Harper could sum up the rest.

In which, Harper did decide to speak. "As your second in command," The rabbit made it clear to mention his status given to him by the guardian. "I deserve to know the plans that you come up with. I have to be the one to make contingencies and make sure you are thoroughly protected. Even you know many of the dreams here won't simply settle their feuds with the Nightmare Realm simply because you have. . .come together with Night. Especially not the ones who have lived through generations of the simple order of things. We may be the realm of positivity, but we still have our own small troubles- that I deal with properly. If you don't let me know about these things then I can't possibly help keep the peace that you want here. And as your second, of course I'm going to worry about you being injured. I may be a decent general, but I am in no position to be a fill in guardian. And I pray to the Powers that that will never, ever happen."

Oh how Enasi disliked being lectured. He didn't like being scolded like a child- even though he wasn't being scolded. He wasn't sure how it made him feel, but he didn't like the feeling. Enasi knew they were right, despite how much he tried to convince them that all would be fine. Instead of responding, Enasi looked down and pet the cat in his lap. Rue stared at Enasi's clouded expression and hugged him a little tighter, careful to avoid hurting him. "It's okay. . ." Rue whispered softly and gave a bright smile. Enasi returned the smile with a much softer one before patting his head.

"Alright. . . Do what you want I suppose. . . Since I can't convince you all otherwise. . ."
Aoba had been just about to grab the thing growing out of the grown until Kuro stopped his hand. He looked up at him with an obvious look of confusion. "Sprouts? Oh!" His hand immediately pulled back. To think he nearly killed the plants that had not even grown yet! His look of surprise turned into one of happiness as he realized what it meant. "Oh great! All of our hard work has paid off! The seeds are finally growing!" His hands clasped together for a moment and he sighed. "What a nice feeling," He leaned a little closer to the seedlings as he continued. "To know that you've actually gotten something accomplished. It's a nice feeling." Aoba looked over at Kuro and hugged him, nearly making them both fall. "Thank you. Thank you for helping me and teaching me and, well doing all this stuff. . .for me."

There was a light blush on his face as he spoke, but Aoba merely looked back at the little seedlings and smiled. The fallen angel could go on forever about how he appreciated the demon and all the work he put in just to help him survive. He could've gone on and on about it. . . But then again, he knew couldn't. Well, in the sense that, if he did say such things, he'd accidentally tell him how he felt. It wasn't a good idea. And with the constant reminder that demons lacked hearts, Aoba knew that wouldn't work out too well. But having them around made him happy nonetheless even with his angelic abilities taken from him. Everything was fine just how it is, and there was no reason to change it. "You know, this also means, we have to make sure all the other weeds leave the little seedlings be!" The fallen angel moved to his feet and dusted himself off a little.

"And, we still have to get through the chores before we go to the town." He was pretty sure this was all they had left before they could clean up a bit and go to town. Aoba wasn't sure why he was so eager to go to town, nothing ever happened really- and the way the humans looked at him still made him nervous. Yet for some reason, he still wanted to go as if something was going to happen, and he didn't want to miss it. The fallen angel was about to go on ahead to finish his job, but paused once more. He turned fully, facing Kuro. Aoba scratched his head a bit and looked around. "Is there anything that's supposed to be done differently, now that they are growing?" Of course, once Kuro explained, he could continue on.

Meanwhile, Dani had finished chasin and telling the animals such good news and wandered over to see what his brother and the toy- well, Aoba were doing. "Oh look, you got the things to start growing finally." He huffed and crossed his arms before turning on his heel. "Magic still would've made it faster. And easier."
Hironori's gaze wandered around the room. "Whatever you think suits you, Akito. I still get servants to wake me. I can be quite late sometimes." He chuckled at his own little mistakes and then looked over at Akito with his usual calm expression. "That's not what happened? That's what it looked like." He quieted and listened when Akito gave a serious look. That was new, compared to his normal shy or nervous looks. It must've been rather important. Carefully he listened to what Akito had to say. Hiro figured the simple fact that Akito managed to speak was pretty important anyway.

The prince's face scrunched up into a sort of thoughtful frown and his gaze went to the bedspread. "Hm, soo careful not surprise you or face possible death." He said the last part with a short laugh. His frown disappeared and he looked at Akito. "Alright. Got it. Be careful." He turns completely to face him, sitting on Akito's new bed. "Hm, so when I hugged you and kissed your cheek," Hiro couldn't help but grin playfully as he remembered how embarrassed Akito had gotten. "Does that mean you could've and might have accidentally hurt me then?" Despite being told to be careful for his life by his own betrothed, Hiro seemed to be in his normal light hearted mood. "I guess I should've expected something like that from a soldier. I suppose I'll just be. . . Well, careful. Hm, don't worry. The servants knock before they approach and do their work."

Hiro turned again and stood, slipping his shoes back on. "Good to know these things before I get myself in trouble. I should warn you though, my stepmother won't be swayed by such a thing like that. So she may give you a pat or squeeze every now and then." He didn't know exactly why he stood, considering there was no where he needed to go, so he sat back down and looked at the male across from him. "Is there anything else I should know Akito, or anything you'd like to say or do?"
"If anything Crios, I think I'm just sending you all off to do your jobs instead of sitting inside and doing. . .well nothing." It didn't seem like either doctor or second in command believed him, so he merely let them do as they pleased. The two were a stubborn duo. Just as Enasi thought they'd go and accomplish something other than staring at him, Seishu appeared along with everyone else, quite literally. "Oh you came to visit, how nice. And you seem to be feeling much better, that's wonderful." He scooted as best as he could so he was on one side of the bed and Seishu was on the other. The guardian was more than happy to cuddle with Seishu, but paused when Seishu revealed his sneaky goals.

Even when not around, Seishu still was a perceptive fox. Enasi didn't answer right away, instead he watched as the familiar trio took places in order to cuddle up with either guardian. "I'm not making excuses for anything." When he finally did start speaking, he looked down at the sheets, idly petting and gently scratching Rasha. The cat purred and purred happily. "There's no excuses, I just don't want everyone wasting their time here when they have work they could be doing. I'm just going to be sitting here until I'm better. Not much else I really can do."

"You may have to go through physical therapy. Depending on how you recover." Crios added as he looked at a chart with him. Cho smiled and shuffled his way to Crios' side. The siblings found a small bench to share and Harper leaned against a wall as usual. Enasi looked at them all, including the ones on the bed.

"Oh dear, this must be irony. Physical therapy, all of you staring me down, hm." He glanced over at Seishu, looking into his cute worried eyes. The guardian got comfortable by his counterpart, finally stopping his continuous petting to Rasha's dismay. Rue and Inui giggled at the idea.

"Don't forget also being hurt in the same area." Harper mentioned, giving his own addition to the irony. He watched as the two cuddled up and subconsciously softened. His ears lowered a little as he relaxed a bit more. 'They really do love each other. . . Even though I've heard them time and time again, it was hard to believe. I admittedly had my doubts about Night. . . But seeing them like this. . . I've seen Lord Enasi express many happy emotions, but I don't think he's ever actual expressed love like this.' Harper's own internal monologue was interrupted when Rue spoke.

"Does this mean we'll get to see Lord Enasi and Mister Seishu swim again?" Rue looked thrilled about the idea. "I mean, of course Mister Seishu can make sure he doesn't accidentally hurt himself and all. We wouldn't want a repeat of last time. . ."

Crios put the chart down and chuckled lightly. "Just because they have similar injuries doesn't mean they'll have similar results to everything. For example, we don't have to inject Lord Enasi as much as we do Night. Lord Enasi doesn't get angry like Night does and he isn't as reckless- unless the Nightmare Realm has influenced him to be, which I hope not." He teased lightly and patted Enasi's leg.

Enasi puffed up his cheeks and crossed his arms. "I wasn't being reckless. I was helping and. . .it backfired. Backfired a lot. But enough of that! I'm fine. I promise."
Aoba took a bite of his food when Dani spoke. The idea of the smaller demon being his escort making him cough out of surprise. Fortunately, that wouldn't be the case. Dani shot him a look for it, only for Aoba to glance away and sip the juice he poured for himself. The fallen angel gave a delightful little smile when Kuro agreed to go into to town after they were done tending to the animals. He continued eating while curiously watching Dani scarf down his food. Aoba wondered how he was able to do that so easily. . . "Does he have a black hole in him? That's not very normal. . .Is that normal?" Aoba tilted his head, feeling the breeze as Dani took off.

"He really likes the animals. . ." The fallen angel said after he finished eating. Almost subconsciously, he grabbed the empty plates and cups that were used and want to clean them out. He didn't mind cleaning, in fact, he didn't notice how much he actually did clean up. It was just another routine for him. It didn't take long for the two of them to be out and ready for another work day. It was the same day just like every other day working on the large field. If demons weren't visiting or attacking, then the two went about the work day feeding the animals and letting them loose, then working on the field.

Today in particular, it seemed they had a lot more weeds than normal. Aoba looked at the field while Kuro approached and then scrunched up his nose. "Kuro, there's a lot more weeds today. . ." He scratched his head and looked around. "And they're everywhere!" It looked as though they'd have a lot of work before going to town. He sighed and bent down in order to pull the ones that had grown recently. Instead of the normal yellowish brown color of the weeds, these were more green and small. He didn't quite understand, it, but Aoba figured Kuro would explain.
