There was so much moving and soft sounds going on around him. However, the Dream Guardian stayed asleep, only stirring for a brief moment to adjust to the lack of the others around him. Rue and Inui looked over at the guardian, quieting down as to not disturb him. Inui’s tense feelings had not subsided, so he carefully scooted off the bed to avoid disturbing Enasi. Rue had quickly and carefully followed in order to assess the situation. Meanwhile, with the sudden lack of warm bodies cuddled up to him, Enasi nuzzled into a pillow and laid on his side. It didn’t bother his wound, so he didn’t wake. To adapt to the sudden movement, Rasha cuddled up at Enasi’s stomach, only to be pulled up closer to the guardian’s chest. The cat purred in his sleep and nuzzled closer to the guardian.

“I. . .I don’t know. But something isn’t right. I can’t tell what it is. . .You’re right, it could’ve been a bad dream.” Inui rubbed his arm and looked at the ground.

Rue frowned at the thought and shook his head. “I don’t believe it was.” Shaking his head again, he looked around the room. “You wouldn’t be this upset if it was nothing.” Rue was going through the possibilities in his mind, trying to figure out what could be the cause. As he did, he held on to Inui’s hands, attempting to calm him enough to put his claws away.

Harper raced towards the place where the last portal from the Nightmare Realm had been caused. His ears were on high alert and he focused for any trace of negative energy. ’How can it be so difficult to find him! He literally sticks out like a sore thumb!’ Harper huffed and continued his search. His next idea was to check where they first found Seishu. Even though it had been some time ago, maybe Night had decided to reminisce on the day he and Enasi found him on the brink of death. Unfortunately, his luck failed, but that didn’t stop him from running along and continuing his search. Eventually, when his search did come to an end, he would end up in TB’s field. If all else failed, the large turtle could have been some assistance. To his disappointment, the quick search to find Seishu and remain calm was slowly diminishing.

The possibilities of Seishu getting hurt once again and in their realm lingered in not only his mind, but everyone searching. They had to find him and fast. There was also the horror of having Enasi panicking and trying to go looking for him. He was injured too, and Harper was not planning on letting him hurt himself more. He continued searching throughout the outer most parts of the realm. Fortunately, there was a lot of open space that didn't require him to be so meticulous in his search.

Starla had been assigned to try the forest. It was closer to the castle, where Finn was searching. With her finely tuned abilities Starla tried to tap into the flora around her and see if they had caught any sense of negative energy nearby. Most gave her nothing. Others gave her short paths and dead ends. “Augh! Night where are you!?” With all her stubbornness, Starla kept looking. They were going to find the guardian and they were going to drag his sorry butt back to his hospital bed. And then she would suggest Crios strapping him down so he couldn’t escape. That sounded like a good idea. Hopefully the others had more luck. . .

~*~*~*~*~

Each door was opened. Each room was checked. And there were a lot of them! Finn didn't stop though. The minions and dreams wondered what the young man was looking for, but he always whisked away before they could ask. He was in complete focus as he raced through the castle. When he finally did stop, it was because Cho beamed at the sight of him. "Oh! You've come to visit? How thought- What's wrong dear?" Cho's smile became one of curiosity as Finn dragged him out the kitchen and whispered.

"You haven't seen Seishu have you? He's gone missing." Finn quickly silenced a gasp and continued. "There's a search party out, but so far nothing." Having similar feelings as Harper and Crios he gave Cho a serious look. "Also, Lord Enasi and the trio don't know. If Lord Enasi finds out, he'll be panicking. Could you keep an eye on him please? He's asleep now. I have to go finish my search." With a small salute from the chef, Finn was rushing off again.

"Keep our dear guardian happy~ That's what I'll do~ Keep our dear guardian happy~ Because he deserves it too~" He hummed a little made up tune and walked into the kitchen. If he was going to keep Lord Enasi from being upset, he needed a small snack for a distraction. He couldn't possibly lie to his dear guardian, but he could easily distract him. It wasn’t all that hard too. He thought of possible conversations like him and Crios, or a new recipe to try- the possibilities were endless and if need be, he'd bring them all up. Cho did debate on whether or not to tell the trio about it. He didn't want them panicking, but the extra sets of eyes searching would have been a good idea.

Crios had taken a short break to catch his breath. Racing through the inner parts of the realm was more tiring than he made it out to be. He may have been in shape, but he was still a doctor- his stamina was a bit limited. Taking a deep breath and an irritated sigh, he went towards the last place he knew Seishu would be in. The town. Not only was it too full of dreams and minions, but it was draw immediate attention and people would panic. Seishu may have been stubborn, but he wasn't stupid enough to do something like that. And by the looks of the tranquility of the town, Seishu was no where in sight. But, Crios walked through- for the sake of checking thoroughly.
Kyou once more reassured that Aoba is safe, and after some time, the fallen angel started to actually believe him. The looks Kyou had been giving him easily softened the angel's heart. "Well, I don't mind- um, you learning about me I suppose. I don't think you can do anything with the information." This made him think to be careful about what he said. Aoba didn't want to say anything the demon could use as a weapon of some sort. "Besides knowing of course. And it is good to know some things." He gave a gentle smile. However that smile faded when the rush of demonic energy sent a cold chill down his spine. His first instinct was to cower away, however the sense of familiarity made him stay in his place. It only took moments for Kuro and Dani to be between Kyou and him. For a moment, Aoba looked down guilty as if he did something wrong as well- only to spot the pleading look he was given. The thoughts of holding a life in his hands reoccured, and the fallen angel's heart nearly leapt out of his chest. "K-Kuro wait!" Thankfully, being in public restrained the two demons from outright killing Kyou. If they had been on the farm, the brothers wouldn't have hesitated to kill the demon. And Aoba felt that Kyou knew this too. "Kuro!" He called out again, managing to push past Dani in order to get in between Kyou and Kuro. His wings extended some, in order to block the newer demon from their grasp, and probably obscuring Kyou's view a bit. "Wait. . . Please?" He gave a wide eyed gaze before glancing back at Kyou. "Kyou, he's. . .friendly." The fallen angel nodded before continuing. "He doesn't want to hurt me. He was just curious is all. He wants to know more about how it- well I do things. . . And- And things about angels." Aoba looked pleadingly for Kuro to understand. If he could get Kuro to understand, Kuro could keep Dani at bay. Aoba looked over at Kyou and gave a friendly smile before once more looking at Kuro. "I- I trust him. He can't hurt you- you two are much stronger than him- and he won't hurt me. We've been talking for a few minutes while you two were, um, busy." His hands, that had been placed out in front of him to stop Kuro from moving forward had dropped to his sides. He hooked his fingers behind his back, but somehow managed to keep his blue eyes on the demon without looking away. He really hoped they'd listen. The last thing he needed was an innocent life being killed because of him not speaking up. Though he wasn't exactly sure how innocent he could say Kyou was. He flinched ever so slightly when Dani growled again, obviously not caring whether the demon was friendly or not. To him, demons weren't friendly without motives, and this demon- turned or not, was the same as the rest. "Come on Kuro. . . I could kill him easy. He was too close and he could've hurt him." Dani's death glare never left where Kyou sat, however Aoba's wings got in the way at some point. "He could have, but he didn't." Aoba defended softly and watched Dani as he prepared to walk forward and drag Kyou behind the building.
Hiro nibbled his food, watching the interaction go on with a curious gaze. The prince was still surprised by how much Akito blushed- even at the simplest things. He wondered if his parents noticed it too, however his betrothed had been with him most of the day, so he didn’t guarantee they noticed too much. The young soldier’s response made everyone, save for Hiro, give a curious gaze. HIm wanting to see the servants’ quarters was of course odd for any of the royal family, but Hiro quickly intervened by clearing his throat. “It’s no big deal. I suppose he may have wanted to better acquaint with the entire palace, just in case he got lost. Either way, it doesn’t hurt to be curious.” Both parents looked at each other for a moment before seeming to come to terms with the assessment of Akito’s actions. It fell silent for a moment, so the two could take a few bites of their food, Hiro took that opportunity to give an apologetic smile for putting the male in the spotlight. The prince then took a breath, as if demonstrating it to Akito, then mouthed the words ‘Relax’. The poor male would probably pass out from how embarrassed he was. After he managed to catch Akito’s gaze, Hiro was once more eating, paying no mind to the bristling little creature Akito had. The Empress stopped for a moment making a small ‘oh’ noise before placing a hand on her large belly. This caused the Emperor to stop and turn to her quickly. “Relax love. The baby just kicked is all.” She smiled and then went back to eating her food. After a few moments, the Emperor did the same. Hiro had looked up in concern as well, however relaxed before his father. He learned that when his stepmother said she was fine, she meant it. However, he did notice her gaze go up to Akito again as if to speak, so once more Hiro politely intervened so Akito wouldn’t have to speak. “Ah I was wondering, something about the wedding.” This was the first he openly displayed some sort of interest in it, so both the Emperor and the Empress looked at him with curious gazes, Hiro, as much as he didn’t want to talk about it, decided to ‘take one for the team’. “So, who’s all invited? I hear so much about decorating, but I’ve heard of no one showing up.” This seemed to make the Empress perk up in delight. “Ah! I almost forgot to mention it!” She thinks over the list. “You remember the Kurosawa and Mazashi family, yes? I hear The Kurosawa’s daughter has gotten engaged as well. The Mazashi family and their baby boy will be showing up. Oh, I can’t wait to see their cute baby!” She begins to ramble and gossip like a teen, not seeming to care who listened. However it seemed, the Emperor paid the most attention. Hiro met most of the families she had mentioned, but their interaction with Hiro was normally brief. While his mother rambled on, Hiro finished his own food, glancing over at her every now and then to show he was paying attention- at least somewhat.
It hadn't been long before both Enasi and Rue had dozed off in their comfortable silence. Rue tried his hardest to stay awake, but he ended up falling asleep. Enasi had laughed lightly, watching the young dream struggle to stay awake only for him to pass out. As for Enasi, he debated if he wanted to spend time in the darkness of his mind. However with his lack of energy and the drugs he was injected with from before he couldn't help but get comfortable and fall asleep as well. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Things were finally coming to a relaxing pace and settling down. Even the bits of negative energy from his guardian had died down. ’Maybe I won’t get gray fur before I’m old. He gave a soft, short laugh to himself, letting his ears droop down a little. Things were falling back the way they should’ve been, almost as if nothing happened. . . Almost. With a soft sigh, Harper patted down the tufts of fur on top of his head and used his other hand to knock on the door. There was a sound from the other side of the door and the large rabbit pushed it open to see Crios scribbling away on sheets of paper. “You should really try taking a break sometimes. I'm sure Cho would be more than willing to take you away again." He chuckled, referring to when Crios and the chef last left together to be alone. This caused the writing to stop rather abruptly, and for the fox doctor to clear his throat. “What do you want Cotton?” Now, it was Crios who had the smirk. He knew just how much Harper despised the nickname, which was the perfect reason to use it. The calm air Harper brought did feel nice, he had to admit. And with even Harper being calm, that had to be a sign of something well. Crios shifted the paper to the side, knowing it was just busy work for himself. He had the best staff in the realm and everything was up to date. Only minor things really needed his attention, and that could wait. “Oh, just,” Harper paused, counting down a few seconds in his head. ’Times up Night.’ “Just that you have a wandering patient. He wouldn’t listen to me, but he shouldn’t be too far from his room.” This made Crios’ ears twitch. Obviously, it wasn’t Lord Enasi who was to be worried about. If that was the case, Harper would have already escorted him back to his room, or at least stayed by his side. Of course it was Seishu who had to strain his injuries and make his job just a bit more challenging almost every day. “But don’t worry, Lord Enasi is still in his room.” Harper chuckled again and watched as the fox doctor sighed. Well, at least the paper work could wait. “Of course he wandered off. Of course he did.” Crios shook his head and grabbed his travel first aid. Both males walked out of the office and Harper pointed him in the direction Seishu hobbled off to. While Crios hurried to find him, Harper walked into Enasi’s room to check on the guardian. He softened a little to see Enasi asleep with Inui and Rue on either side of him and Rasha on top of him. He looked comfortable, however Harper gave a soft sigh, unsure of how peaceful he was. With him sleeping without his counterpart, it was still a bit unsettling to know of the dark void he was succumbed to. The rabbit decided not to dwell on it too much and walked out of the room in order to take a stroll. He hadn’t done so in a long while, so he decided to take the opportunity. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Crios followed the path Harper directed him to. After a few turns, he became rather confused as to why he had not caught up with Seishu. The doctor was positive that even he couldn’t and wouldn’t have just flown off without telling someone. Instinctively, whether it was a doctor’s intuition, or just Crios having been around Seishu for so long. . . Something wasn’t right. He could feel it. The doctor turned, heading to find Harper once more, this time with an urgency in his step. ’So much for the moment of peace. . .’ To quicken this process, as he made his way down the halls, he called to Harper, knowing that those large and fine tuned ears would be able to hear him. ~*~*~*~*~*~ “How are you two?” The rabbit guard had wandered absentmindedly until he was standing in the garden with the plant siblings. He watched them tend to their garden, watering and digging small holes for new seeds. Even though they could use their powers for the task, sometimes, doing things the traditional way was more fun. “We’re fine. Just helping our plants adapt.” Finn said with a smile. Starla nodded in agreement as she planted a row of new flowers. Before Harper could question what he meant, Finn continued. “Our garden had gotten a little. . . out of touch- as if they didn’t recognize Lord Enasi when he had arrived. At first, I thought it was due to the excess of negative energy around, but Starla and I realized that it was in fact that new energy he is giving off. Thankfully, they are starting to accept it as well.” He looked at Harper and smiled again, giving a nod. Meanwhile, Starla was in her own little world. Of course that wasn’t until she looked behind her, giving a questionable glance. “Hm. . . Weird. It was probably just the travellers.” Finn had noticed the sudden surge of positive energy appear and disappear. Normally that happened when the Realm Jumpers were heading into the Human Realm. So, he paid no mind to it. Before Harper could say anything, his ears lifted at the sound of the doctor calling him. Hearing that it sounded urgent, Harper turned to the siblings. “Crios needs me. I’m going.” With that, Harper shot off to meet the doctor. The siblings looked at each other, hearing the urgency in the rabbit’s voice and decided to take a break from their own menial tasks to follow behind him. ~*~*~*~*~*~ “Seishu’s gone. He’s no where in sight. I checked around and followed the faint negative energy trail. But he’s gone.” The fox doctor had started speaking immediately as Harper approached. There was no time to waste. And if it wasn’t as bad as Crios made it out to be, then everything could quickly relax once Seishu was found.
Aoba collected as many bags as he could without straining himself, and gave a small smile to James as they left. However, the male blinked and looked back to his work. The fallen angel didn't make a big deal out of it and the two were already out the door. In moments, Kuro had already homed in on his older brother. "Oh, very perceptive." He complimented and followed behind Kuro as they made their way towards Dani. Less than minutes later, both males could hear the sound of Dani's shriek. Aoba guessed it and could only assume that Dani of all people would make such a noise. He didn't have time to react because Kuro was already pulling him forward. "I hope he didn't hurt anyone." He commented quietly. "Wait, why are we-" Aoba looked as Kuro piled the bags around him and then hesitantly nodded as Kuro raced off. Unsure what to do while he waited for the brothers to return, Aoba decided to reorganize the pile of bags. He moved them and set them in a tight circle so he could watch them all, along with keep them out the way. He made sure the perishable items were in the more shaded area, along with making sure the fragile things were resting on top. He tried peering over the crowd, but unfortunately he was too short and too far to see. With a soft sigh, he calmly waited where he was dropped off. No one noticed him quietly waiting with bags at his side, and he was fine with that. However, in the midst of him peeking through one of the bags, his feathers ruffled a bit and a small chill went down his spine. Despite being tainted, he could still sense demons around. However his sense was dulled due to being around two demons all the time. The demon's heightened curiosity was the only thing that gave his cover away. Sensing the demon around was enough to make him quietly nervous, but hearing a sudden voice made him whirl around quickly. On instinct, Aoba quickly took a few steps back, though he couldn't just leave the food unattended. Aoba looked the demon over with wide eyes, much like a deer in headlights. However, unlike any deer, Aoba was prepared to fly out as quickly as possible. He may not have been fast, but flying away was better than nothing. Thankfully, flying around with Dani helped with that. It- he spoke again, but this time strangely enough. . . He didn't feel threatened or in need to scream out in panic. . . Which only scared him more. The only demons that weren't threatening to him were Kuro and Dani, so this had to be some kind of trap. He couldn't exactly stay calm, but he did try to stay brave. Instead of answering the question, he set aside his polite formalities to speak. ". . . What do you want?" Aoba was afraid of the answer however, and prayed that Kuro and Dani would come back soon. He puffed up a bit and frowned. "You're going to get yourself killed. You s-should go. . . I'm sure you have plenty o-of demon things you could be d-doing." Even though he tried warning the demon off, somehow it still came off as polite. . . He was going to have to work on that. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Fenrir gripped the edges of the mirror in horror. 'Don't stand there! You idiot! Run! Get the demon!' Never had he thought he would suggest something like that. Why on earth did Aoba decide now of all times to attempt to stand his ground! This was more stressful than having to do surgeries. ~*~*~*~*~*~ Meanwhile, Dani continued to flail, trying to remove himself from Kuro's death grip. Others around them looked worried by how angry Dani was. They were more so confused as the drunk continued to insist that there were wings on Dani and Kuro's backs. As drunk as he was, no one believed him, but it still raised questions concerning what really happened.
As they entered the dining hall, Hiro nodded to both his parents and then quietly took a seat. It was obvious of his father’s disapproval towards his wife’s moving about. Everyone seemed to disapprove it, however the Empress had no intentions of staying still until she was sure she couldn’t move anymore. Though, with how stern the Emperor was, and how she had been short of breath a few times, she decided that she might as well ease up a little on all the moving around. That didn’t mean she would stop helping for the wedding, even if the Emperor insisted that they had the finest planners there was. As both young men sat down, Hiro looks up and smiles at his stepmother. “Our day?” For him, it was filled with simply explaining the whereabouts of Akito’s new home. It wasn’t the most exciting thing in the world, but he had to admit that reminding himself where everything was had been pretty helpful. “Well, it was nice, but I’m sure Akito’s opinion would be the judge of that. After all, I simply went around showing him where everything was. He got a grand tour from me personally.” The prince chuckled lightly. “But, that doesn’t mean it was all that great for Akito. Along with that grand tour, I also showed him to his new room of course and explained that he could also ask the servants for assistance. All that stuff.” Hiro waved his hand as if wrapping up what he had to say. “Mhm, so in any case, Akito should be the one to give feedback.” The Emperor raised an eyebrow as Hiro spoke. “New room? You two won’t be sharing a room?” He didn’t sound disappointed but his tone did hold curiosity to it. His gaze went from Hiro to Akito with the question. The Empress, who had seemed to catch on to Akito’s timidness more so than the Emperor smiled and spoke up before Akito could. “He’s probably just getting settled dear. Not to worry. Though that does remind me,” She motioned to one of the servants standing by. “Do get someone to take Aki’s new clothing and put it in his room. Not Hiro’s. Thank you darling.” She smiled as the servant bowed and hurried off. “Oh, that is still such a lovely and cute pet you have.” The Empress smiled in delight and then nodded. “Anyway, yes, how do you like everything so far? Anything you’d like, or like to know?” While the attention turned to Akito, Hiro quietly grabbed a few meats and veggies for his plate and began to eat. He listened, wondering how Akito would respond, or if he'd crack under pressure from all the attention he was getting. 'Poor thing. . . Maybe I shouldn't have put him on the spot like that. . . Well, he's going to have to learn eventually.'
He didn't pull away from the gentle touches, nor did he fight when Seishu pulled the pillow away from his face. The tune made him look up at Seishu and the gentle and light kisses made him smile. It was cute, like all of those cute couples he would see around the realm or even in the human realm. And then Seishu kissed him and Enasi didn't hesitate to kiss him back. Some how, Seishu managed to be so comforting. Normally, he thought Seishu's meaning of comfort was the love bites and the playful fighting he got from his minions, however he thought it over and remembered all of the tender kisses and hugs he gave to his own minions. *I hope they're okay. . . I shouldn't bother him about his minions. I'm the reason he had to leave so soon.* His smile faded some and he looked at Seishu as he spoke. The Dream Guardian had to admit, he was a bit surprised to hear Seishu apologizing rather than talking to him. Enasi felt like telling him otherwise and stopping him, but something told him to stay quiet. Instead of telling him things he should do, Seishu was telling him that he had to fix it on his own. That was new and very unlike him. For fleeting moments, Enasi thought something was wrong. Maybe he had been complaining too much for his counterpart. . . Had Seishu given up on him? That thought, even though it was a very least likely thought, made his heart sink. Even if it just fleeting moments. . . Enasi nodded slow and offered his own smile. "I'll. . . I'll keep you in mind- um, *that* in mind." He laughed lightly at the minor mistake before adding with a light blush. "Well, you too, but you know what I meant. And I won't push him away. . . I promise." He gave a reassuring nod, and watched Seishu walk away. He wondered why Seishu decided to go, but he didn't question. He simply accepted it and thought over what his counterpart said. Normally there was more to it. . . And even a fight occasionally, but not this time. Enasi sighed deeply and laid his headvback, staring at the ceiling. "Now, how to fix it, how to fix it. . ." Enasi hummed a soft melody to a forgotten song and closed his eyes. He heard the footsteps and wing flutters of his little minions, but continued humming. After a few moments however he paused and opened his eyes. He expected them to have already jumped on the bed, but the lack of movement made him stop. He looked at their wide, curious eyes and lightly patted the bed. Towards the gesture, the three of them hopped onto the bed. Rasha climbed up and took a seat right on Enasi's lap in his cat form. Rue followed suit, cuddling up to one side. Inui on the other hand moved a bit slower, more cautious of his own energy than the others seemed to be. Enasi simply smiled however and pulled him closer to him with the others. "Are you okay Lord Enasi?" Rue looked up with bright hopeful eyes. Inui expressed his own concerns through his facial expressions and Rasha purred as he was petted. Enasi gazed at each of them before smiling softly. "I will be." He hugged each of them, giving them light pecks on the cheek before sighing. "I do apologize for making you worry so much. I've just been a tad-" "You don't have to apologize Lord Enasi!" "We know you mean well." "We just want you to get better." The guardian laughed softly and grinned. "You three are so adorable! But, thank you." He nodded and gave a content sigh. They didn't know why he was thanking them, but they simply nodded and stayed by his side. For awhile, it was a peaceful quiet, save for Enasi's hums of different songs. The guardian wondered about a lot of things and contemplated others. As much as he wanted to snap his fingers and fix things, he knew it would take some time. He just hoped it wouldn't take too much time. After some time, time he didn't realize had passed, he realized Inui and Rasha had fallen asleep against him. Rue had gently poked Enasi's cheek to see if he had fallen asleep, causing him to slowly open his eyes. "Are you tired? Should I get Seishu to rest too?" He sat up, prepared to help his guardian any way he could. "No thank you Rue. I'm still awake. Just enjoying the quiet." "Does. . .that hurt? Should Crios check on you now?" "It only hurts if I move the wrong way, so I think I'm fine. I'm sure Crios will be here soon enough to come check on me. So, in the mean time you can just sit here with me." Rue nodded and laid back again, falling silent. Enasi smiled softly, but after a few moments, spoke in a soft and gentle voice so he didn't wake the other to. "Even though it ended pretty rocky. . . What was the Nightmare Realm like for you?" Rue closed his eyes in remembrance. He thought over how dark it was and all of the wildlife that tried to attack him. Then there were the minions he saw. . . With a smile, Rue spoke. "In its own way, the Nightmare Realm is a beautiful place. I'd love to see it again sometime, just without the potential death of course." He laughed softly, only to get another hug from Enasi. "Maybe one day." -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- Cho had walked past a little bit around the time Inui and Rasha had dozed off. He peeked in, only to see if he was needed and then went off to go back to work. Starla had left sometime early, already in the garden. It didn't take long for her to find Finn lying on the ground, gently persuading the flowers to bloom. "How is everything here?" Finn sat up slowly and stretched. "Hm, better than a few minutes ago. . . Some are actually blooming now, but a lot of them are being rather stubborn." He leaned against his legs and eyed a few closed lavender colored flowers, still waiting for them to cooperate.
Aoba paused in his examining and laughed a little. "I guess you're right. I should probably figure that out." He smiled and put a hand on his chin. "Well, so far, I've liked all the things you've made. If that helps. And you wake up earlier than me all the time. But I don't think you should have to make food all the time. . . Once I learn how, I can do it." Aoba looked up once again and smiled. "I mean, you don't have to spend *every minute* of your time at the farm you know. I don't think it'd be very fair for you." He didn't want Kuro to feel like he was bound to his side at all times. Dani made it clear that he didn't like being tied down, so maybe Kuro felt the same way sometimes. Maybe he just kept it to himself. As the fallen angel looked the cereal over, he smiled and nodded. "And we can always have quick and easy food. I don't mind at all." He took the box and then looked over at Kuro again. "I do think Dani would mind though. He likes. . . A lot of meats. We should probably get some for him and you. . . And me of course." He looked at the small hand basket he grabbed and made a face. "We may need another, larger basket." The fallen angel went back towards the entrance, grabbing one of the baskets. He paused as he saw people cheering and celebrating. Noticing the similar shirts they had on, he realized one said 'LaCrosse Champions since '94'. "Hm. . . So it's a sports celebration. . ." "You could call it a celebration. It's more like pre-game excitement. The LaCrosse championship is tonight. Everyone here and the town over are getting ready. You must be new around here if you didn't know that." Startled by the sudden response, Aoba whirled around to see one of the younger workers smiling at him. "Yeah, it's big around here. They show it on the local channel and everything- oh, sorry did I scare you?" Aoba refrained from running off like a scared child and mentally sighed. "Uh, n-no. I'm fine. And thank you for that. I am new around here. . ." The male seemed to give a slightly closer inspection to the fallen angel and then grinned. "Hey, I remember you. The last time, I was a bagger but- heh, but I guess that's not important." He refrained from continuing his rambles in fear of embarrassment. Aoba didn't have time to mention that he did remember the male from before, asking if they wanted paper or plastic because he then pulled a cart next to him. "I'm assuming you needed this?" "Oh, thank you, um, James." Aoba smiled politely and pushed the cart off. The worker blinked and once more fumbled over a 'you're welcome' as he walked off. "Got it." Aoba called over when he returned to Kuro's side. "Oh, apparently there's a LaCrosse championship game tonight. It's a really big deal and the town over is here too. The nice employee, James, told me." He pointed James out as they were walking away before nodding. "They said it comes on TV too. . . But, I don't really know what a lot of things are around here. I don't know, I think some of the younger angels play sports just because. Not so much. . . *watching TV*." He shrugged and simply continued on with their grocery shopping. As they did, Aoba continuously mentioned that it might have been a bad idea to get a large amount of things, considering they had to carry it all back home. But, what they had seemed to be enough for them and the two were getting their items bagged. "Now, all we have to do is find Dani and then we can go home. But how are we going to find him in the huge crowd. . ?" He glanced out the window, only seeing unfamiliar faces. Oddly, he spotted one face who seemed to be staring directly at him. Though, when he blinked, the face had disappeared. *Must be seeing things. . .* Aoba brushed it off and proceeded to help Kuro.
Hiro smiled, pleased to know Akito agreed with him. There was a contentment to how Akito spoke that reassured him that he hadn't been dying of boredom or fear. For awhile, he simply enjoyed the serenity of the silence between them as they walked along the massive garden. He had to admit that the serenity was nice every once and awhile and he wouldn't mind it so much between the two, not that he wouldn't mind sharing a nice conversation either. Then again, not many things bothered him. Wandering around the palace was proving to be a lot of exercise, and becoming tiresome for the prince. Sure he had walked through the palace, but never majority of it in one day. Well, he did have himself to blame considering he did give the offer. Hiro only figured that Akito would have probably been more comfortable knowing where most of everything was. And his parents thought it was a good idea as well. In the midst of the long walk, Hiro paused and sat in the grass to rest his feet. He even laid back and stayed there for awhile. With his eyes closed, it wasn't clear if Hiro had fallen asleep since his eyes were closed, but they were there for some time until the prince rolled to his feet and sighed. "Okay, back to what we were doing." He stretched his arms over his head and began walking back to the palace. "I hope that woman went to sit down. She's always on the move for some reason." He wasn't speaking to anyone in particular, but a passing servant bowed and responded. "Yes your Highness. The Emperor managed to get the Empress to relax. Nothing to worry about, sir." Hiro smiled and nodded his thanks before carrying on with their small journey. There were other things Hiro showed, everything different from the first. There were even a few empty rooms in the palace that were still decorated as if people planned to visit them. He hadn't realized the time going by so quickly as the light outside grew dim and the servants started to move to their night chores before heading off to their own section of the palace in order to relax from the day's activities. "Oh, we're going to be late for dinner if we don't hurry up. Don't want you to be late. I on the other hand have done so several times." With a much quicker pace, he hurried in order to make sure Akito wasn't late for his first dinner in his new home.
Upon waiting to hear what he did wrong, he had a moment of deja vu as he remembered that this was not the first time Seishu planned to 'set him straight'. And with that thought, as Seishu began, he brought his hands to his face in an exasperated manner before returning them back to the pillow. 'Man I'm such a fool. . . And somehow I still manage to mess things up- well, apparently that's nothing new. . .' He nearly missed a whole chunk of what Seishu had been talking about before he realized he was drifting off into his own mind. "I know it's not some attack." He mumbled and decided not to protest the pouting thing considering he was pouting like a child. This also caused him to fix his face and pout less.

The guardian returned the light kiss before sighing softly. "You've told me that several times before- and yet here we are again." Enasi gave a small empty smile and shrug before looking back down. The only reason he looked back up was because his counterpart began to caress his cheek. "Well, I mean it was a necessity at first because, you know, I couldn't have you dying or anything. . .But after, I let Rue go because he seemed to like you and he wasn't going to listen. And then, you got attacked- well, almost. Precautionary measures- then, yeah, I was being nice. It's something that's pretty normal for me you know. Kindness and all." As he explained, he moved his hands from the pillow and messed with strands of Seishu's hair before tucking them behind his ear.

He fell silent again, trying to think of what to say- or at least how he was feeling. However he wasn't sure about either of those things at the moment, which was starting to become more often than not. But the more Seishu spoke, the more Enasi came to realize why he was feeling so jumbled and so. . . Not right. It was besides the fact that he burdened himself with all the problems of his world- or at least used to seeing as he was now learning to 'share his problems'. When Seishu brought up his questions, with obvious sadness in his voice, Enasi once again brought his hands to his face and heaved a sigh. "No, no, no. You're fine. We're fine. I mean- I hope we're fine. We are fine, right? . ." There was a moment's pause as Enasi deterred his mind from wandering off.

"Ever since you've gotten here- no, ever since I was a guardian I've been. . . I don't know, I guess so worried and fearful about messing everything up that I've been doing just that. . ." Enasi stared at the ceiling before closing his eyes. "When I was given guardianship and going through how things were supposed to work and how things worked before I was a guardian, everything seemed. . .well perfect. It's not as easy as it looks keeping every single creature 'positive'. Positive happy, positive content, positive calm and all that follows in that. . . And the last guardian, the first guardian was apparently pro-war. Hence why we're here. I didn't want that to happen a second time. So I carefully made a system. A system that worked and was agreeable for all. Was. Or maybe if never really worked and I was just too full of high hopes." Enasi paused again and frowned a little before putting the pillow that was over his wound, over his face.

He wasn't sure the idea of sharing had been a good or bad thing anymore. Muffled through the pillow, Enasi spoke. "I have no idea what else to say about it. . . No nothing is wrong with you. The problem is me and I'm not doing such a good job. Sorry for screwing so much stuff up. . . I'll fix it. . .eventually." The sound of his voice got softer and sadder, though tears never actually formed.

Outside the door, Rue watched Harper's expression go from attentive to softening. His ears lowered a little and he crossed his arms. As curious as Rue was, he decided to stay quiet and wait for the right time to speak about it. In the meantime, he and Inui played with and petted Rasha while they waited.

Finn was resting on his stomach in the garden, watching a few closed flowers. "Now don't be like that. It's blooming time for you all. I need you to do just that. . . Please?" He slumped into the dirt and sighed. Rolling on his back, Finn stared at the sky trying to figure out what the problem could be. He had also been waiting for Starla. Hopefully she had some piece of the puzzle.
