This account is pretty inactive now. But I pop on from time to time to see if anything of interest pops up. I tend to drop out of things with writers block if I find myself lacking in interest, but do try to keep things long=term. Been offline for most of the last 12 months but hoping I might soon find something to get me back in that RP saddle.

Name: Irvine (Shade) Code
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Species: Humanoid
Room Number: 333
Rooming With: Pozuzy
Alignment: Unaligned - Typically influenced by Neutral & Evil alignment
Appearance: Irvine has shoulder length black hair and brown eyes (couldn't find a image match :( ). In order to complement his personal use of his powers he prefers to wear darker colours of blue's, browns and black to help him blend in more naturally with his most comfortable environments. He always wears a belt that has several leather straps which act as a sort of holster / sheath for his weapon the shadow hilt.

Personality: Irvine is typically a quiet individual who would rather keep to himself than become involved in group activities or discussion. His lack of interactions with other people or species has him sometimes speak his mind without consideration for consequence or feelings. Both of which compound a shy, almost silent attitude of a person who'd rather speak with action than words. Despite this anti-social shell, Irvine will slowly open up as he develops trust for individuals.

Bio: Irvine's past is just short of being a complete mystery with little known about his early childhood or pre-teen life. He never had any direct family and never knew his parents being abandoned as a newborn. All efforts to track down his origins by either himself or others has always resulted dead ends, leading to the current status of any family he does have being a completely unknown variable. Constantly moved between different foster carers Irvine never developed any meaningful relationships, either through a lack of desire or deliberately preventing its on set.

By the time Irvine had come to realisation of his powers he was fending for himself and constantly moving, although typically remaining within a self-designated radius. Within his time alone Irvine grew comfortable with the general lack of being around others, typically hanging around within the constantly dark alleys of busy towns and cities. People who had claimed to see him on multiple occasions grew accustomed to referring to him as 'Shade' due to how his shadow un-naturally stuck to his body as though it was actually him who was the shadow. However despite this phenomenon Irvine has always considered himself human, his ageing and appearance were both that of a human, allowing him to move around easily in general populace. But he couldn't shake the feeling of a faint calling that maybe, just maybe, he was something more.

Power 1: Darkness Manipulation

Likes: Solitude, being in dark or dim-lit environments, observing interactions, combat training
Dislikes: being singled out/targeted, large group interactivity, public speaking

Family: Unknown
Friends: None
Sentimental Attachment:

Weapon: Shadow Hilt - A hilt for a weapon, which alone or in the wrong hands is completely useless. The hilt serves as a material component, and through the use of his powers Irvine can use it to form basic weapons formed from darkness/shadow energy. Currently he has managed to muster daggers and batons, and when given enough time a short sword. The hilt itself is somewhat dull there's a particular lack of any distinguishing features other than the craftsmanship of the metal that forms it, there's a void within the pommel usually filled with a decorative gem yet on this hilt no such gem is present.
@The One Hope you don't mind if I reuse my original, I'm on the fence about a second character. I'll see how things go and may PM over my idea.

"Don't you know, Death keeps up with everyone no matter how fast they run. It's when Death catches them they finally realise that." Akira put simply in response to the girl before he turned back to the Ring Master and took the key from him. Akira turned it in his hand as he stared at its strange colour. Just as the Ring Master had stated this was quiet obviously no ordinary key, its blue glow was anything but natural, even the concept of a blue key without it being coated in paint seemed rather novel.

Akira looked to the others as he gave a shrug, it seemed it had came time for them to leave the place. He clenched his hand around his key as he moved his hand to his pocket closing his eyes as he did so. Then he could hear it, that sharp squeak piercing its way into his consciousness with each resounding beat. With a groan the boy reached out, feeling around for the alarm clock with his closed hand trying to swat it into silence. As though thoughtlessly swaying around it took a while before his closed fist slammed down on the digital clock knocking the alarm off. He slowly sat up rubbing his eyes as he looked down at himself. He'd fallen asleep fully clothed, he couldn't even remember the last time that had happened to him. "That... was a weird dream." He mumbled out as he stretched his arms out in a yawn. As he brought his hands back down, swinging softly against the palm of his hand, a key ring holding a blue key.

Akira found himself staring at the key, he didn't really recognise it, but it felt important. He placed the key down as he started to get ready for the day ahead before grabbing it and shoving it into the pocket of his school trousers before heading downstairs. He didn't even know what the key was for though he felt compelled to keep it on his persons. He made himself a quick breakfast as he checked the time. "Ugh... gonna be late." he said to himself as he held a slice a toast in his teeth and headed out the door, time to repeat another day.
Ugh... took me so long to post something sorry ; ;

There will be at least new side character introduced in this city though I'm not sure when I shall introduce them just yet. On a side note if you have any characters that you want to add to the story feel free to do so. I'll try to get a character sheet for Hades done when I can.
Akira gazed around the tavern once again from their table as he took another swig of his brew. He listened to what Allura had to say, though it would seem that finding something she wanted to do as opposed to having to do was going to take some time to figure out. "heh, life of sworn duty huh?... Yeah I remember what that used to feel like." Akira commented as he looked back to Allura with a smile. "Regardless we'll have plenty of time to look around at what the town has to offer tomorrow. If we get up early enough we should be able to get round most of it before the masses show up again. Town like this, it'll only be quiet for so long."

He contemplated Allura's question to him, what would he do? Although, sure, he would like to do something that was active and contained some excitement to it could he really risk it? "I think that might actually take some thought." Akira said as he leaned in towards Allura. "Can't be doing anything that'll draw unwanted attention to us. That's how rumours start, rumours become stories and stories become messages, and then..." Akira clapped his hands together as he leaned back again. He could not really pick and choose just anything he wanted. If he decided to do something active it would likely eventually leave this town and get word to the Shadow Slayers, assuming they didn't already know which direction to head in to find them.

"Then again, perhaps something low-key that pays well." Akira had a rather sly smile on his face. His time adventuring had allowed him to develop a slightly skilled deft hand. Should the need arise there'd certainly be some that didn't have need of every coin they carried. "Bah... I don't know." Akira stated as he leaned back on his chair. "Maybe we should just give it a couple of times and just kick it into gear when we need to? That way we can at least try to enjoy ourselves a little bit." Akira continued to shift his eyes to each side as if looking out for something, though he never caught anything in his line of sight, if he did he certainly wasn't letting onto it.
So, why is there going to be a Sword Art Online movie?

So that they can milk to cow dry, if there's money to be made you can guarantee someone will want to capitalise on it. Plus ClockTowerEcho's point.

Then there's also the same reason there's a Deadpool movie. It becomes common knowledge then the fanboys/girls whine at the producers to ensure that it happens.
The Death Arcana... Akira stared at the card he had chosen though he felt little in the way of surprise. Death had moulded Akira into who it was, it shaped him and warped him to the point that he could no longer remember who he was before its cold hand had reached into his life. It felt almost as though it had clung to him the entire time, enjoying the ride whilst it waited for this moment to introduce itself once more. When the Ring Master made mention of friends Akira softly chuckled to himself "Yeah, if you say so..." In all honesty he was rather doubtful of that last part but the rest felt like it struck a cord within him, almost as though he should treat it as a strength as opposed to an unseen enemy.

Then the last card was read, the other boy has chosen the Tower. The Ring Master then went on to describe it to the lad, just like he#d done for Akira and the girl before him. After the final reading was made Akira glanced over at the Ring Master. "So, unwavering strength..." he glanced momentarily to the girl. "Fate..." he motioned to himself before finally glancing at the other boy. "And blind arrogance?... Doesn't sound like much of a team." Akira didn't really feel tat the readings would be indicative of those that could mutually bond toward a common purpose, even though that seemed to be the reason for them being here. "Unless the fourth one was supposed to be the connecting bridge?" Akira asked referring to the one who had left. "Just how long is he going to stand out there contemplating it anyways?"

Akira's eyes began to wonder around the tent once more. He was somewhat curious as to what the next step was going to be, assuming they were going to continue on without the fourth mask wearer rejoining them. As before, aside from the table there didn't really seem to be any distinguishing items or anything that really stood out. "So.... what now?" Akira asked as he glanced to each person present in turn.
We may need more NPC's we've killed em all :P
Akira continued to work his way through the crowd as the distance on his tracking marking edged closer to zero. What had once been a mass rebellion of players appeared to be a dwindling skirmish of those lucky to survive the first few swings. It was in that moment of realisation that Vegnya was in Akira's sights and he pulled his hood up once more quickening his pace as he ignored the clashes of weapons around him. "Move!" he grunted as he pushed his way passed other players to try and get a better vantage point on the situation. It would seem that another player had already reached the Grand Masters side, a sigh of relief escaped Akira as he realised that others had been able to avert the Grand Master's death amongst the chaos.

Though that relief would be short lived, as Akira got barged past by a mob of angered players. It was clear that they too had caught sight of Vegnya and were now charging in like a group of mindless drones servicing the purpose for which they were constructed. By the time Akira was free enough to react a good 12 players had already barged their way past, somewhat taken a back by their blatant ignorance Akira simply followed the group. The attacking mob was rather relentless as their method of attack seemed less intent on killing the Grand Master and more so in causing pain. Their shameful kicking and beating of the downed leader looking similar to a drunker bar brawl. Vegnya's movements also seemed strange as she appeared to be fighting highly defensive against her opponents simply prolonging the fight rather than ending it. It wasn't long before the Grand Master had been overpowered, but just as quickly as Vegnya had been restrained she had been almost completely freed from her assailant's as the player with her had laid waste to all but a pitiful few of the attackers.

Still residing to the back of what was once a gang of players Akira pulled down his hood once more, lifting a finger to his lips before pulling it back up. Fortunately for him, he could afford to act in such manner as the <<Hate>> fuelled players remained focused on Vegnya and her allies. Akira walked forward to be in line with the rest of the would be assailants, time to test out this <<Hate>> effects influence. Looking to one of the remaining robed players, Akira simply motioned with his head toward Vegnya & Ezmeralda and even this seemed enough to incite the player as they rushed forth to their impending death.

Before the last one could react to such a bad call of judgement Akira's sword swept the ground, knocking the player from their feet before impaling the blade straight through the main hands shoulder, the blade screeching as it pinned the player to the floor. "Such a predicament." Akira says as he pulls down his hood and kneels on the players main arm to prevent any forced weapon swings. "You cannot simply trust any who wear your colours." With that Akira pulled down the hood a final time. Still knelt down he raises his gaze to Vegnya and Ezmeralda. "It's good to see you're both safe. Now as for you..." Akira turned his attention the player, still pinned. A small amount of health remaining on their HP bar, Akira dabbed his fingers on the wound and raised them to his lips. "Eugh... bitter. Had you not assisted in the attempted assassination of our leader you may have had a right to trial." Akira stood, freeing his sword from the floor but keeping it well wedged in the players shoulder. "But no trial is needed, when the crime is treason." Akira twisted the weapon as the wound ripped a larger wound in the player and draining their final ounce of health.

DEAD

Akira glanced round as it appeared a moments respite had been earned, as he stepped over to the Grand Master. "I do hope aside from that beating that you are well Grand Master." Akira had a deep respect for Vegnya having vouched for Akira and welcoming into the Brotherhood, he knew all to well the hounding of players prior to joining due to his appearance. "Though the situation is hardly ideal, I believe Nyx is in pursuit. That or she left, though I've never known the Iron Maiden run from a fight. With your permission I would join Nyx in the pursuit. Hikaru is a threat to all of us, both in combat and in what he knows."
